Nothing can be more inviting than a cozy, warm and weathered English Beach cottage tucked in a quaint little coastal village called Cannon Beach! If you long for a relaxing vacation or yearn for a special place to retreat for a few days of rest with your best friends then we hope you'll be drawn like we were to experience the "cottage life" that Cannon Beach has so carefully preserved since these first little homes were enjoyed so many years ago. History shows it was a simpler time for sure... yet the good news is that wonderful lifestyle still remains for all to enjoy... untouched... just as it once was. Many say that when God made the world He left a little bit of heaven on earth right here at Cannon Beach! Our family enjoys and loves this special place so much we decided that we wanted to share "our cottage life" with others who also might be drawn to our special place of comfort and care. Our Royal Rose Cottage sits tucked away on a quiet little street just a few blocks from Cannon Beach Village surrounded by stately firs and beach worn pine. Just two blocks from the beach you'll enjoy feeding the wild bunnies hopping freely around the neighborhood. Enclosed by a vintage white picket fence our comfortable cozy cottage beacons you to swing open the gate that leads to what we think is the perfect story book entrance! You are greeted warmly by quaint window boxes tumbling over with geraniums, miniature boxwood's and English Ivy. Charming black shutters wrap themselves around each window edgewelcoming you to celebrate the love of friends and family in our special vintage home. The Royal Rose Cottage holds a creative mix of antique furnishings, vintage fabrics, textures and pillows. Its cozy appeal is like slipping into your favorite sweater. Every nook and cranny, bench and cupboard is over flowing with sentimental charm. Beautiful lamplight and pictures warm the heart as you relax on chintz chairs, comfortable couches and old wicker furniture. These well loved pieces invite the heart to stop for a while and enjoy the little touches of Grace that live within these cottage walls. Whether you choose to take a relaxing bath in our comfortable vintage claw foot tub or read a good book curled up in the overstuffed chintz lounge tucked in front of the warm fire, we hope you will be blessed by your own little piece of cottage quiet. Room by room you will find that each special space has its own charming personality filled with timeworn treasure and delightful inspiration. The cottage has four bedrooms, two bathrooms, kitchen with eating area, as well as a cozy living room with gas fire place. You can also enjoy a larger family room equipped with large flat screen T.V. DVD with loads of movies! French double doors open up onto a deck complete with barbecue and plenty of tables and chairs. Another special surprise includes a two story fort for children affectionately called "The light house"!! It's just waiting to take your children on their own make believe beach journey.
