General Information
All new construction, this home has new furniture and is delightful as can be! Two story home with the main level consisting of the kitchen, dining and living room. The kitchen has all granite countertops, stainless steel appliances and is fully stocked with cookware, dishes and utensils to make any vacation meal a synch to enjoy. The cozy living room has a large flat panel TV with Satellite programming and a DVD player. Sofa and two side chairs enhance the comfort of this room. Located off the living room is a deck with a pre-plumbed BBQ and deck furniture. Ah, how relaxing! Upstairs are the bedrooms. Master bedroom has a queen bed and a walk-in shower in the bath. The guest bath also has a walk-in shower. Each guest room has a Queen size bed and one has a TV with DVD Player and Satellite programming. A quaint deck is also located on this level. Located in a wooded setting, the distant views of the ocean are beautiful. The beach is an easy 10 to 15 minute walk, if you walk slowly and the beach access has public restrooms. Once on the beach you can walk all the way to Oceanside to the North or Netarts to the South! Oceanside and Netarts are filled with wonderful things to do! Easy exploring consists of beach walks, hiking, Cape Mears Light House and Cape Mears State Park (be sure to see the famous Octopus Tree!). In the fishing community of Netarts you can spend time fishing, crabbing, clamming and there’s even scuba gear you can rent! The beach here is a great place to find sand dollars and one can find agates near the tunnel at Oceanside, and when you’re all tuckered out for the evening, you can enjoy a fire on the beach! So much to do! What a wonderful place to spend time, anytime of year!
Ocean Pines is a beautiful home and a perfect place to unwind and relax. The setting was peaceful, quiet, and private. Although the home provides only a peek at the ocean, the sounds of the surf and the ocean breezes constantly remind you that you are at the coast (perhaps a 1/4 mile from the shore). The home backs to a pine forest and a lush ravine, providing additional tranquility. The home is nicely decorated and was kept immaculately clean, which is very important to me in choosing a rental home. The home was appointed with most everything you'd need for a get away: the only thing I felt it lacked was a fish basket for the barbecue, although the fresh salmon I picked up at the dock didn't suffer a bit and was definitely one of the highlights of the trip!

Very charming. Very clean. Master bedroom should have skid mat under carpet. NEEDED is updated directions to house and beach access. Not close enough to town for me, but I would stay again!
