A message from Uncle Jim: "We call it a "Cabin" because it is rustic with barn boards on the walls, and we chose rustic used brick for the fireplace. I, Jim, pretty much built it by myself over the span of several years. It's not truly a cabin in that it has four bedrooms, three full baths, and 2800 square feet of living space!"

The home features a fully stocked kitchen, a dining room that seats eight, and a cozy living room with a rustic brick wood-burning fireplace. A large front deck is perfect for BBQing, and the north-facing porch offers ocean views of Cape Lookout.
The basement includes a TV, pool table, wood stove, two comfy sofas, and four adult mountain bikes for guest use. Uncle Jim's Cabin has four bedrooms: the main floor bedroom has two twin beds, the downstairs bedroom features a queen bed and full bathroom, and upstairs are two more bedrooms. The primary bedroom offers a king bed, private balcony, and ocean view. The last bedroom includes a twin bed and twin bunk bed, with a full bath on the third floor. The home is located 1/4 mile north of Cape Kiwanda and within walking distance of public beach access – just a 10-minute walk.
