Spring Whale Watching Week – Oregon Coast 

The Oregon Coast is considered one of the best whale-watching spots in the world, and luckily for you, the Oregon State Parks hosts a celebration of migrating whales twice a year. This year’s Spring Whale Watching week takes place March 23-31 as gray whales make their annual migration from the warmer waters of Baja Mexico to Alaska.  

During Whale Watching Week, over 20 volunteer stations are set up at the best whale-watching sites along the coast to assist visitors in spotting these magnificent mammals and to answer your questions and ensure you have a whale of a time! 

Astoria Warrenton Crab, Seafood & Wine Festival! – Astoria 

This annual event takes place April 26-28. Showcasing the bounty of the Oregon Coast, attendees can enjoy fresh Dungeness crab, a diverse selection of Pacific Northwest wines, local craft beers and spirits, live music on two stages, and more! 

Pouring at the Coast Brewfest – Seaside 

Enjoy brews with sea views at the 11^th annual Pouring at the Coast Independent Craft Beer Festival. Located in Seaside, hopheads can enjoy sampling craft beers from some of the best breweries in the Northwest. May 11^th, 2pm – 9pm at Quatat Park. Fat Bike Festival – Cannon Beach 

Welcome to the ultimate Fat Bike ride at the Cannon Beach Fat Bike Festival, May 17-19. Enjoy a weekend filled with exciting events as you pedal through the stunning landscapes and charming community of Cannon Beach. Whether you are a seasoned rider or just beginning, this year’s festival has something for everyone from a sunset ride along Ecola Creek and past Haystack Rock to a thrilling blend of fat biking with the excitement of a scavenger hunt and the challenges of the Amazing Race to a guided 13-mile beach ride to the picturesque waterfall at Hug Point.  

Spring Wine Walk – Seaside 

Uncork and unwind at Seaside’s annual Spring Wine Walk. Participants can enjoy sips and nibbles from several Oregon Wineries and local downtown businesses, May 18^th, 3pm – 6:30pm, $20.
