Seaside is known as Oregon’s Coastal Playground and comes alive with a spooktacular weekend of fun Halloween activities.
Check out the schedule of events the whole family will enjoy:
Dress up as a witch or warlock and head to the Necanicum River. Bring your paddle board, kayak, rowboat, and life preservers!
Time: Register at 9am. Float at 10am.
Location: Quatat Park Launch behind the Seaside Civic & Convention Center.
Play a variety of games at Quatat Park.
Time: 12pm to 3pm
Location: Quatat Park, located between the Seaside Civic & Convention Center and The Bridge Tender. Costumes are welcome, but not required.
Ride the Seaside Shortline Train for free!
Time: 12pm to 3pm
Location: Wheel Fun Rentals, located at 321 S Holladay Dr.
Dress up your favorite furry pet and yourself to match and take a stroll down Broadway to the Turn-Around and back.
Time: Register at 9am. The parade starts at 10am.
Location: Between Seaside Slushies & Dogs and Broadway Mini Mart.
Have your kids dress up and bring their Trick or Treating bags.
Time: 12pm to 2pm
Location: Broadway between Columbia and the Turn-Around.
Gather around to witness the annual drop of a huge pumpkin from a crane into a pool on the beach. The drop also serves as a fundraiser. Participants can buy a Duck or Beaver toy animal mascot that is added to the pool. The mascot that flies the furthest wins a cash prize.
Time: 2:15pm
Location: The Turn-Around on Broadway.
