Seaside’s sandy beach is the main attraction, offering plenty of space for building sandcastles, flying kites, playing beach volleyball, and more. The wide shoreline is perfect for family activities and enjoying the scenic coastline.
Promenade and Turnaround
The Seaside Promenade, also known as the Prom, is a picturesque boardwalk running along the beach. The Turnaround is a historic landmark at the end of Broadway Street and serves as a central gathering point. Kids of all ages can enjoy games at the nearby arcade or take a ride on a carousel at Seaside Carousel Mall.
Make sure to pop into the local confectioners for some saltwater taffy, chocolate covered sea foam candy, or a scoop or two of ice cream!
The Seaside Aquarium is a small, family-friendly attraction where you can get up close with marine life. They have touch tanks, daily feedings, and educational programs suitable for all ages.

Look for treasures in the shops lining historic Gilbert District, then head over to Seaside Brewing Co. for a bite with a side of history. Built inside Seaside’s old city hall, the restaurant still has original bricks, wood floors and a replica jail cell perfect for capturing some fun family photos of your trip to Seaside.
