One of the oldest aquariums on the West Coast, Seaside Aquarium was founded in 1937. Located right on the beach this privately owned facility has remained in the same family since its opening. Perhaps the most prominent attraction is feeding the harbor seals as well as a new touch tank that kids really enjoy. The Seaside Aquarium is home to many species of marine life, including sea stars, hermit crabs, various kinds of fish, octopus, jellyfish and even some larger animals like sharks and rays.
