The Tillamook County Quilt Trail (TCQT) began in 2009 with 16 blocks on area barns. The goal: to creat a tie between our rich local history and the wonderful talents of local quilters, with the added benefit of encouraging tourists to spend a little more time in our county. The trail, the first of its kind on the West Coast, is listed in the book “Barn Quilts and the American Quilt Trail” by Suzi Parron and Donna Sue Groves. As of 2017, the blocks, on barns, private residences and businesses, number 102 from Manzanita to Pacific City, with more to come. Tillamook, Wheeler, and Pleasant Valley display many of our beautiful, handmade quilts. Come see them for yourself today!
