Great place! Centrally located to many activities. House was immaculate and very comfortable. Well stocked with linens and other necessities. The views were spectacular - especially the sunsets. Keep on the lookout for the resident whales. What a great vacation - beautiful sunsets, whales, and the sound of the surf to lull you to sleep. Would definitely recommend this house to anyone.

This place was perfect! My husband is a quad in a wheelchair and the elevator made it possible for him to finally have a place to stay with his kids and his dog. we stayed for 4 nights and it was so lovely we booked it for another vacation in a few months. I also loved how the kids were safe on one level and we had the privacy on the upper level. The view was amazing and the walk to the beach access was easy and there was a place for my husband to watch us from up top. The neighbor was friendly and the convenience of a washer and dryer was great! Lots of kitchen supplies so you can stay in and cook but what was the kicker for me was a handicapped shower. Made our stay comfortable for my husband and that is really important to me. Thank you so much we will be back!!

Stay Here! This was our second visit to this wonderful, quaint beach house. My husband and I are all about the nostalgic experience, and this beach house does not disappoint! The ocean views from the living room are amazing and the post-card view from the bay kitchen window are stunning. My favorite part of this vacation was watching the sunrise from the kitchen table or from the deck. Oh, and the deck...I took advantage of this deck constantly to people watch or just to talk to my old friend, The Ocean! The beach access is just a few steps from the front yard, around a corner. This house is roomy, comfortable and so clean and tidy! I was so happy to find this wonderful house just the way I remember it from four years ago...with some really nice updates! The decor changes are very nice and I was absolutely surprised and pleased with the awesome dishwasher! This home is located close to everything, too!

We absolutely loved our stay at this property! This property offers a wonderful experience for families. Our grandkids loved having the beach right there. It is a beautiful beach and we loved flying kites and running on the beach. The house offered everything we needed: comfortable beds, roomy bathrooms, and a great floor plan. It was very clean and well maintained. I can't think of anything we would change about this house. We have rented several properties on the coast and this is by far the best because of the large yard and proximity to the beach.

This was my families first time renting a home for vacation and it most certainly set a high bar. The house was clean and very spacious, we loved it. We had invited some family to stay as well and they loved the location and home. I will most definitely stay again in the future. They provided more than I had thought and having the beach out your back door was so great for our kids, this was their first time to the ocean and we couldn't have asked for it to be better. The view, the view! The beach - mostly secluded. The house - homey (even though the dishwasher leaked the first time we ran it, the company sent someone to fix it promptly and efficiently). The kitchen was good but the utensils were not great, nor were the pans. Could use some care in cleaning the drawers of other peoples crumbs and cooking debri, but that is fixable. Next time we may bring our own knives, and utensils. We plan for a next time, FOR SURE! This is the start of a great tradition. One other quick note, there are no bathtubs in this home so we bathed the little one in the utility sink - more memories made. (-: Overall a terrific home and location. Close enough to tourist activities and yet not in the "big city". There is a nice grocery story in town with most anything you might need. Not too far from the home. Thank you for sharing it with others.

Perfect for us, 6 single ladies over 70 . One blowup bed (lots of room on the front room to leave it up) and there was a bed each, with one on the sofa. We did not use the top bunk. Plenty of room and great views. Easy to the beach. The only thing I would add is a railing on one side of the front stairs. Will rent this home again

This was a wonderful getaway property. I wish that I could have stayed longer!! It was so relaxing. The beach was right out the backdoor with easy access stairs. There was a picnic table and bench overlooking the beach. The master bedroom even had a doggie door so that the dogs could come and go as they please into the yard. Although we did not use the doggie door since the back yard isn't completely fenced, it was still a great addition. Everything worked great and the bed was so comfortable! It was a little odd that only 1 chair faced the TV in the living room, but it was an easy fix to move the recliner over. There were no tvs in any of the bedrooms but that was not a big deal. Would love to return!!

We spent the three days before Thanksgiving at the condo, so it was very quiet--hardly anyone else around. It rained and was stormy most of the time, so we enjoyed watching the waves as they came up to the rip-rap. We especially liked that the condo had ocean-view windows plus doors to balconys in both the living room and the bedroom. Both rooms were quite spacious, much larger than most hotel/motel rooms would be. We also appreciated the two baths. Everything was very clean and the furnishings were quite adequate for our stay--not new but in good shape. There were even some books to keep us occupied as we also watched the waves. We enjoyed a pizza from the store one night, and the next night brought back some takeout from Hawk Cafe; both were quite good.

This is our third time at this complex, but our first time on the second story. We wanted to experience stormy weather, but didn't want to risk having the windows boarded over, so we opted for an upper condo. The view from the balconies was even better than the ground floor. The drawback is that you have to go out the front and around instead of just walking out your back door if you want to go on the beach. This unit has a large bedroom with a very comfortable bed. It also had two nice sized bathrooms. The "pink" bathroom had a very slow drain so you may want to use the "grey" one for showering. The living room had a newer t.v. so we were able to hook up our Roku and catch up on some movies in our down time. We didn't do any major cooking, as we head to Lincoln City or Pacific City for most meals. We did try the pizza from the trading post this time and really liked it. The only improvement I would suggest is more comfortable furniture in the living room. There was one recliner that was very comfortable, but the love seat (which I believe folded out) was not at all comfortable to sit and watch t.v. on. The storms that came through during our stay were fairly mild, but we still loved to stand on the balcony and watch the force of the waves. And, yes, they do shake the building and rattle the doors, which is part of the fun! We always travel with a box fan for white noise though, so it didn't keep us up at night. We really enjoyed our stay and will absolutely consider this unit when making future reservations!

Found the apt very comfortable. View of surf is great. Be forewarned, stormy waves crashing on rip rap rocks will resonate through the building. Microwave display doesn't illuminate all segments but it does work. Murphy bed in living room was a comfortable surprise. Really enjoyed our stay.

My husband and I love this place! We've enjoyed the cozy, casual, comfort and incredible view of #18 at Pacific Sands for 20 years. The little village of Neskowin is fun to explore, walks on the uncrowded beach are refreshing, and hikes on nearby forest trails exhilarating. At the end of the day we return to #18 for a pleasant evening, reading a book, listening to the waves, and watching the fire flicker. What more could you ask for?

This property has a great location that is quiet and the closest unit to the ocean with a fantastic view. The property itself is very comfortable with plenty of room. It is a bit dated but who spends that much time in their room anyway. Overall, we would stay here again without hesitation!

Wonderful. Enjoyed every minute. The condo was clean, well organized and stocked with amenities. Beds very comfortable. I fell in love with the sofa, love seat, coffee and end tables. Please tell me where you got them. Love, love, love them. I am very short and they were so comfy even though not truly designed for a short person. We will return!

Because of COVID-19 we had to cancel twice but finally made it in June!This is our fifth time to stay here,second time in this unit.We love the ocean front location and the feel at home furnishings.Another bonus is the comfortable new beds.We have been coming to Neskowin for many years and am glad we found this place!Hope to return next year.

Beautiful view of the ocean. Enjoyed staying right on the beach. Only things that we thought could have improved our stay were half of the lights didn't work and the carpet was dirty by kitchen area. Would suggest putting wood or tile in this area and entry way. Much easier to clean. Also, glad that this didn't have pets because of allergies. Thank you. PS Would be nice to have simple instructions on how to operate TV/DVD for older people like us.

We were in Gearhart for our daughter's wedding. She was married on the beach, just down the road from this beautiful house. Looking at pictures of this house makes me smile, brings back so many great memories of that "wedding weekend". The house was just as described. It is incredibly spacious and charming. We had so much fun walking around the grounds and exploring the area. We understood parking was limited, and that was fine. I do wish there was a second shower, but we knew what we were getting when we rented the house. The management company was great - we accidentally locked ourselves out of the house and had to call them to come let us in. They were prompt in coming over with a spare key! Overall, a great weekend and we would happily stay there again!!

This cottage was in the perfect location. We enjoyed walking down to the sea wall and walking along the shops of Depoe Bay. We were also close enough to drive to a nice beach, to Lincoln City, and Newport but away from all the crowds. The cottage itself is perfectly set up, it is cozy and a perfect setting for a romantic getaway at the beach. There were plenty of supplies in the kitchen to cook with. I think our only complaint was the size of the TV! Which, honestly is not a deal breaker and we look forward to coming back to Rememberance at Depoe Bay.

Absolutely spectacular ocean view! We loved waking up to the beautiful ocean view from every bed. The three beds in the loft have spectacular views! . The home, while a bit rustic, was comfortable for us to be together totally enjoying the view. The fireplace had a sign on it that said closed, so we didn't get to use the wood we bought and have a cozy fire. I would recommend bringing foil and things like that. Note: There are stairs to the entry. We found the home clean and ready to enjoy! (One of the dining chairs does have a wheel that falls off). (The wifi didn't really work...incase you need to do work) Enjoyed our visit!

I haven’t stayed at a better place. The jacuzzi bath was phenomenal. Seeing the river and sunset was gorg. I loved that there were containers to store leftovers. That made my life a lot easier. Everything you need is there. I cannot wait to return.

Eight of my family just got together at this home! It was perfect! The home is filled with high quality kitchen dishes, and the bed linens are lovely. The kitchen is stocked with everything you could possibly need! We cooked and baked with all the gadgets we needed! The views are amazing! The kitchen table easily seats eight with ocean views. The living room also has the same view. Upstairs are two beautifully decorated bedrooms with a queen bed in each. Both rooms have full ocean views! The third bedroom has twin trundle beds, so it can easily sleep four. The upstairs bathroom is spacious and filled with white fluffy towels! The main floor has a comfortable bedroom with queen bed and bathroom with shower. There are only three steps to get into the house, which was perfect for my elderly mom. There are also multiple games and puzzles. This house was perfect for our family gathering. It is a lovely, perfectly stocked and decorated home. We will definitely be back!

Our family vacation turned out to be so memorable in this perfect beach house. The location is just right to access Seaside city and the beach easily. We were amazed by the decorations in the house: everything is so well thought and in the Pacific NW beachy style. The kitchen has everything, including measure cups and a mixer! :) We even baked a cake! Thank you, the best 2020 family vacation escape so far.

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Sand Dollar Home in Seaside. It is just steps away from the prom, has beautiful ocean views, and is close enough to town with a convenient short walk down the prom...and yet far enough away from downtown you don't get the crowds and traffic of people going by the house. The house is stocked with everything we needed for our stay. My kids enjoyed turning on the fire place, working on puzzles, and watching movies, all of which came with home. The beds were comfortable and we loved the fact it was pet friendly and we could bring our dog Maple. I would definitely recommend this home to anyone who is looking for a beach getaway!

This house offered all kinds of amenities. Fireplace, T.V., DVD, Front Porch, and a lot of room. The owners have DVD's and books to choose from, Washer/Dryer/ and silverware in the kitchen. It is a half a block to the beach and Prominade, which you can stroll down the promenade all the way down to the main tourist area with all the restaurants, gift shops, and arcade. I can't think of a better way to enjoy Seaside, and relax and do whatever makes you happy. The owners are great people and this is reflected in the way their home is presented. Make sure to sign their guestbook, and have a great time.

A wonderful home that is tastefully decorated, which is located steps away from the Seaside Prom. We walked every day into town (5 minutes) to enjoy ourselves. Located in a quiet neighborhood. Fully equipped kitchen offering more than my kitchen at home. Our evenings were spent sitting in front of the welcoming fireplace enjoying popcorn...and, yes, they have a popcorn popper! Also enjoyed watching wonderful Ocean Views and Sunsets in the comfort of the living room...through HUGE living room windows! The perfect 2-day beach getaway.

A wonderful beach home in which to enjoy the ideal beach getaway! This larger, tastefully decorated comfortable beach home is perfect for either small or large groups. Fully equipped with every imaginable need: games, kites, large selection of DVD's, up-scale pots, pans, utensils, serving pieces & appliances. The extra-large bathrooms were perfect for our needs and we also enjoyed evenings in front of the inviting gas fireplace! Nice, quiet neighborhood and only steps from the Seaside Prom. And, rather than driving during our stay, we chose to take several short 5 minute walks to the Seaside Turnaround, where we enjoyed eating Pizza at Harbor Pizza!

So we just got back from a week-long vacation at the Sand Dollar House on seaside beach it was absolutely amazing I wanted to bring my family to see how beautiful this place is upon arrival to the vacation home it was even more beautiful than the pictures even show the house was absolutely amazing plenty of rooms for our whole party of 10 I felt like not once were we on top of each other there was plenty of space for everybody it was exactly two houses from the beach which is very convenient when you open up your window and one of the bedrooms you can see the beach and listen to the waves at night the kitchen was absolutely perfect had everything we needed one thing I love is the fireplace made it cozy and the kitchen had everything we absolutely needed one of my favorite things in the whole house was the rubber duckies in the bathroom made my whole day I would recommend this house to anybody who's looking for A Little Piece of Heaven on the seaside Shore it's absolutely beautiful I hope to bring my family back again and make this a ritual thank you so much to the owner of the house for sharing this amazing beautiful house with us we absolutely loved it made amazing memories can't wait to come back again thank you

8 of us (all adults) stayed at the Sand Dollar for 5 nights, and it never felt too crowded. It was spacious enough to accommodate all of us. After driving for 8 hours (we took the long route), it was great to arrive at this house. It was clean, smelled nice and everything we needed was in order. Check in and out was simple and easy, and was relayed to us through email a few days prior to our arrival. Beach access was extremely easy, and is just 2 houses down from the promenade. We walked on the beach every day. This house is also very close to shopping, coffee and restaurants. We did not drive frequently, but instead chose to walk everywhere because it was close enough to do so. Seaside was a perfect tourist community for us, the beach is gorgeous in this area (lots of sand!) and the house was perfect for us. The only issue we had was that we had to go back home at the end of the week. We would have liked to stay longer!

Great location and amenities for our family to get away for Thanksgiving. Small apartment over garage great for a couple who wanted some privacy. We only had immediate family travel down and plenty of space for all. Heat did not come on initially and call resulted in poor notes and did not fix issue. Positive was technician was at the house in about 15 minutes and fully resolved issue. He also came back the next day to make sure heat was working. We went to Ace Hardware and picked up 3 screws, washers and an Allen Wrench to fix the bar stools. Well stocked kitchen, hand can opener needs replaced. No rubber spatula's or baster. We had relatives live local so we could fix our issues on Thanksgiving day without calling anyone. King tide flooded fire pit area, water level about 3 inches over rocks. Overall great experience and would rent again if date and time line up.

We rented this beach house for a few nights and it was very well kept, clean and nice. There is access to the backyard for fishing, close to restaurants / entertained and beach access is down the street. The house is big with lots of room to accommodate guest and it was a pleasure to stay at this beach house.

Great beach house! We stayed here for my husbands birthday weekend with our family and friends, it was four couples with kids and there was more than enough room for all of us to hangout and for the kids to run around. With all the family it was just wonderful having such an open kitchen and living space as we could cook and still watch the kids and enjoy the family. My absolute favorite part of this home was the backyard! If you love the water you’ll love this house. Having the creek in the backyard was amazing. We were able to fish and enjoy the water without having to go anywhere. There’s a FirePit and plenty of space for the kids. We loved this place so much that we did it all over again two months later for my birthday! We had even more family there and there was still plenty of room for everyone. We will definitely be returning and celebrating more birthdays here!

We have stayed at Sea Daze 2 years in a row and we absolutely love it! It is perfect for our family and has everything we need for our week long vacation. We love the ocean view from the house and the short walk to the beach. Not only can you cook your meals, but all of the restaurants and shops are only a couple blocks away! The decor at Sea Daze is perfect, such a cute beach house. We will definitely be staying there again!

Condo was surprisingly roomy and the view of the ocean was amazing and beautiful. Plenty of room to spread out to accommodate a large group. Couple of draw backs were that there was not a DVD player and it was very cold in the condo for the first night until the heat could warm it up. Would have been nice to have had the heat going before we arrived. Other then that we really enjoyed our stay and would come again.

This condo was a hit instantly. It is very large with plenty of room. The view is gorgeous with a long balcony. We saw a pod of Orca's on our 1st evening. The bedrooms are very spacious as well as the bathrooms. The kitchen has everything you need for cooking in. It was very comfortable. The only down side is the dining room chairs. We tried to play cards and after half an hour, our legs were hurting. They have a very hard edge and sink down in the middle. Other than that, I would still give this place a 12 out of 10! I will be coming back!

We (2 couples and 1 baby) stayed here for our daughter's first birthday. Upon walking into the house for the first time, the views were amazing. The house was setup ideally for our situation, with a master bedroom and bath upstairs, with a smaller room right next to it for our baby's pack and play. Downstairs was another bedroom and full bathroom, suiting our inlaws well. The home was well stocked with extra blankets and the furniture was cozy. I loved that every window opened, so we could air out the house with the lovely ocean breeze. We used the telescope to look at surfers and beach goers, and the cable and wifi worked great. The wifi was fast up to 4 devices, then slowed down. The kitchen was well stocked and had just about everything we needed for cooking dinners and breakfast. Regarding the previous review about ants, there were traps on the kitchen floor and we didn't see any ants. We did have to vacuum upon arrival, but we had a crawling baby so we may be pickier than most. The home was stocked with enough of the essentials for a 3 night stay. The mattresses are firm, and we had one guest sleep on the downstairs couch with no complaints. This house has a great location, but be warned, if you are out of shape or have any kind of disability, you'll need to drive down to the beach. The beach access includes walking down a steep hill, and then LOTS of stairs, and of course, coming back up said hill and stairs. This house was great, and our experience here made us decide to make an Oregon Coast trip each year for our daughter's birthday. Early August weather here also seems to be perfect. No wind, 50-70 degrees, and either overcast or sunny.

The view of the ocean out this 2nd floor condo is even better than the photo. You can see down the beach for miles and either walk across trails in the short dunes in the photo or go down the promenade 1/2 block and step right onto the sand. The slightly dated but very beach-y condo decor will help set the mood. The condo is roomy and adequately furnished unless you decide to put down both the wall bed and extend the sofa bed which are right next to each other. Having two full baths was really nice. The kitchen was furnished with enough dishes and pans for cooking. Bring your own condiments/spices/etc since you will find only salt and pepper and ice. Parking was plentiful between the lot behind the building and another across the street. We were not in high season however. Instructions to enter the condo were clear however they did not include the code for the guest laundry room. It would have been helpful to include those so that we did not have to call to get them. Ocean Beach Rentals promptly answered calls and responded very quickly when we asked for a hair dryer. There were sand toys on the balcony for children but no beach towels and we were not about to take the immaculately white bathroom towels to the beach. Restaurants and small shops are about a 10-15 minute walk away so there is no need to move your car except for sightseeing or grocery shopping. Overall, this condo filled our needs and more and it will be our first choice if we return to Seaside.

Spent a wonderful time at the beach. My 93 year old mother spent a few days with me and we so enjoyed the view and the condo. Weather was perfect - we had one day where it rained all day and the wind blew but the rest of the time we had great weather. We were able to get the spots on the carpet out. It appeared someone had a tar like substance on their shoes from the beach. The view is spectacular and the condo is decorated so cute. Hope to return next year and spend two weeks. Great value - thanks so much for making it affordable.

We just got home after a stay at this beautiful beach cottage. Will definitely stay again! Everything you need for a wonderful vacation! Private backyard overlooking the beach! Even with a large hotel next door it was very quiet. Everything was very well stocked and very clean. Perfect for one couple or two. Close and convienant to everything!

This was the perfect getaway my mom and I needed for a few days! A wonderfully quaint and clean abode! Had everything we could need there and Depoe Bay has become one of my favorite places on the oregon coast. Felt like the whales, birds, and a little chipmunk we saw each morning became our friends in a sense. The views were just breathtaking... especially sunsets enjoyed in the hot tub! The space and amenities were just right. So hard to leave this peaceful place and return to the realities of non-vacation life. Thanks for such a great place for a bit of relaxing respite!

The place was perfect for a wonderful relaxing time, for two. Great location, you can walk to all the shops in Depoy Bay. The wife and I sat on the deck every night looking out to the sea, and at 4:30pm on two of the nights we saw a whale. Highly recommend this GEM, no one will be disappointed.

Everything about this rental was perfect. The view was absolutely amazing. Saw whales from the deck while drinking our morning coffee. The house was spotless and has everything that you need. What a great place to stay. The living room/kitchen is all windows. The location is private but within walking distance of Depoe Bay. The hot tub is fabulous looking out to the ocean. There were oatmeal cups and coffee in the kitchen. We had a marvelous time and would definitely come back. Just the right size for 2 people.

First off, this was our very first time renting a cabin out of state. And I must say, this experience has been absolutely amazing. I spoke to a rep on the phone when reserving the cabin, and she answered all of my questions and concerns. The cabin is much bigger inside that you might think, and very open and clean, with many windows looking out over the ocean. The hot tub was a nice addition. They built a couple walls around the hot tub for more privacy. We also brought our little dog with us, and the owners provided a bed for her! She very much enjoyed herself, starring out at the ocean in the mornings. And there's enough parking for 2 vehicles. Our F-150 fit just fine. So, overall it was a great experience for us. A much needed break away from our lives. We plan on renting this cabin in the future. Thank you again!

This is a very comfortable, clean, enjoyable home on great site. Nice deck, nice views, all around good place to have spent a thanksgiving holiday. Two complaints: the property is listed with capacity for 12, but that's a stretch, as there are 4 bedrooms, each with space for 2 people. A pullout single bed adds one more spot, and a inflatable bed could add an additional two spots, although it's not clear where that would fit. Better to label the property as comfortable for 8, and several more on the floor and using a rollaway. Minor second complaint: the house would benefit from a more complete selection of normal cleaning materials... a couple of bars of hand soap, more trashbags, a sponge in the kitchen. Thanks

I am an activities director at an assisted living facility. From the first contact with the company I was impressed at their willingness to help me in every aspect of our outing. We arrived and were all very happy with the house! It is an amazing place to stay. The home is well kept up and very clean. There is everything you could possibly want for cooking, the beds are all very comfortable and the view is spectacular! We are so tired and this is so lovely. Everything is nice and new and clean. There are plenty of pots, pans, kitchen utensils. Soap for the washer, dishwasher and kitchen sink are provided. We are okay with stairs, but there are a lot of them in this unit. Garage is on the first level, bedrooms on the second, living and kitchen on the third.

Had a very relaxing and sunny stay, home was as pictured and served our needs perfectly. The one small issue we had with plumbing was handled expertly and within a few short hours. Pets had a secure and fun place to share the vacation with us. Whales love to hang out just offshore and daily observed 3 to 5 at a time. Got some great shots of heads and tails out of the water with long range lenses although careful observation with the naked eye could spot them easily. Had great blue heron watching the surf and another day a bald eagle on beach directly below house for several hours. House was very comfortable for the 4 people we had staying although 6 would not be a problem. House well equipped for the rainy days with games, puzzles, movies, etc although we did not have much time to enjoy as the "SUN" was shining the entire trip and 75 degrees (I'm sure Oregon Beach Vacations had a hand in arranging this just for us!!!)

House was clean. View out dining and living room of beach great. Stairs to the beach with a climb over rocks at the bottom. This is just off of 101 so caution is needed to enter or leave the drive. Having a garage is a plus. Bedrooms are on the east side of the house closest to 101 so some road noise is heard. Overall a nice week.

This beautiful home was a perfect retreat for us at an affordable price. The private beach access was a bit steep, and there was a big drop off at the end onto beach rock, but other than that the house was PERFECT!

We’ve spent five nights here having a wonderful time. The view couldn’t be better, being right next to Roads End State Park; the closest home on NW Jetty. Watching the windsurfers each afternoon was fascinating, especially when they were airborne! Some of them are very skilled. Having four bathrooms with only four people was a luxury, each very well maintained. The two upstairs baths have jacuzzi tubs. The kitchen was well stocked with several cooking utensils and all. The three recliners and sofa in the living room was perfect for our small group. Twelve people would be a bit much... There’s a TV room downstairs and each of the three upstairs bedrooms have a TV. The master suite is spacious with a gas fireplace and balcony. There’s one other upstairs bedroom with a balcony. What needs attention: The north facing windows were filthy and difficult to see out of. The dishwasher was broken and waiting for a replacement part. The two upstairs beach facing bedrooms mattresses could be replaced. The master suite has a memory foam mattress which tends to sag in the middle, but it was comfortable enough. My bro said he rated his mattress a 4 out of 10 for comfort, but he’s picky. The BBQ was burned through. My son used the hot tub several times. I found it to be a bit on the cool side, but okay. The upstairs jacuzzi bath was much better and relaxing. Each shower can hold two people or are oversized. I can see why this rental is booked most of the time. However, weekend rates seem overpriced... Would we return? Definitely!

11of us stayed for the weekend and we had a blast. plenty of beds to fit out family. we enjoyed hanging out in the living room that had seats for all of us. We love the great food at the hotel restaurant. This was out second time staying at the house and won't consider staying anywhere else. We enjoyed our stay at Swallow's Nest immensely! Our family group of six adults and four kids had plenty of room as the house is spacious. The kids loved the loft area! The beds were comfortable and the porch off of the second story was a wonderful place to sit, relax and chat. The beach was within walking distance. The kitchen of the house was equipped with what we needed to cook our own meals but we also enjoyed several meals prepared by local restaurants in Pacific City. Our long weekend was wonderful! We will return to Swallow's Nest in the future!

We loved the Swallow’s Nest! It is a great house with lots of space. We are a group of friends that enjoy spending time at the Oregon Coast. This house had space for us all. Lots of rooms, space to play games or puzzle. Everything we needed in the kitchen. And, the open floor plan made it easy for us to be doing more than one thing and still be together. This is a perfect home for family/friends at the beach. It is a short walk to the beach and neighborhood trails and the Pelican Brew Pub. Beautiful home in the perfect location. Very comfortable for a romantic getaway or large gathering. This home has tons of room without losing a cozy snug feeling. We found everything we needed for cooking, entertaining, and relaxing. You'll want to explore the beach with gorgeous views or take a short walk coffee, pizza, and Pelican Brew Pub. This is the cutest house! For a 4 bedroom house, it was cozy, super clean and beachy, with a perfect location. It was walkable to everything in town including Pelican Brewery and the coffeehouse. Though it's close in to town, it was very quiet and just the perfect getaway for us. The living room/dining room and kitchen are open and roomy enough for everyone to gather round (especially when making a crab feast!), yet still cozy and inviting to relax at the end of the day. We'll definitely stay here again!

My family and I have stay at this house more than once and will continue to do so. It has the perfect setup to stay with 6 or 7 of your friends or family. Awesome TV set up on the main floor, but there is another little TV in the bedroom downstairs. Perfect for being a part of the group, but also having privacy. You are located right between The Tillamook Factory and Cannon Beach. You you can do all the exploring you want, then return to a more quiet, but beautiful beach in Rockaway.

We had a great time at the Doty house. Rockaway Beach is one of those communities that is not very crowded and has an wonderful beach. We definitely enjoyed the house. On the top level, the living room is really comfortable with really nice views. There are four bedrooms. Two are on the first floor, one is on the second floor, and one is on the third. This bears mentioning because my wife and I have a baby. We were on the bottom level and our friends were on the top. Noise with the baby was never an issue. I really liked this floorplan because you can have more than one family staying there without feeling cramped. Everything was clean and nice. We cooked a lot and the kitchen had everything that we needed. Without a doubt, I would stay here again.

We came up for 2 nights and couldn't have had a better stay. The rooms were all clean. Comfy Beds. Very quiet and private but still very close to 101 to get into town. We were able to walk the main road. I would for sure stay here again.

Pros: Good view of the ocean, nice kitchen, beds were comfortable, nice decks on each floor and we only had to load and start the dishwasher when we were leaving. Cons: The driving directions were not correct...we all had to use GPS to find the place. The house furnishing are dated and do not accommodate a large group very well. There were eight adults in our group and the dinning room table only had four chairs so we could not all sit together for our meals. The seating in the living room only had four comfortable chairs and a couch. There were four office chairs that looked like the ones you would see in any waiting room. The configuration of the bedrooms in the basement was weird because you had to walk through on bedroom to get to the other. When we first arrived the house had a really strong odor so we opened all the windows to air it out. Once we closed the windows the basement still had this strong odor. I'm not sure but I think it could possible have something to do with the old carpet on the stairs and in the basement.

We came to Rockaway Beach for a grand farewell to Summer 2016. The house is a delightful cottage with all the comfort amenities one could want. The sound of the crashing waves lulls you to sleep after a quiet day walking on the beach and viewing the sunset from the front porch. This is the house Aunt Bea would have had. The kitchen is well appointed with all appliances operational. The full capacity washer and dryer a definite plus for beach living. The house is, cozy and warm. The views from the upstairs family room are a plus for days the weather is prohibitive. We force anther stay in our future!

Overall we had a lovely time at the house. The door code initially wasn't working, but within the hour of arriving Oregon Beach Vacations was in touch and provided keyed entry. The house is cozy and well organized with bedrooms on the first and second floor. The toilet upstairs is handy and the shower downstairs was hot. However, currently it does not sleep 8 people. Two people in our party had to make do with not only a broken futon bed but also a very lumpy mattress. Even sleeping on the floor on the mattress was not a comfortable alternative. Also, toilet paper was in short supply, and so were blankets. If 8 people are to be accommodated then these issues should be addressed. The location right on the beach was the main attraction and it didn't disappoint, despite cooler weather and some rain.

Hello, my family stayed in the home and enjoyed our stay, love having the access to the beach very close. Only complaint I have is when we arrived and we arrived right at check in time 4:00 p.m. it was not cleaned. Beds not made and the towels and items still in washer. I don't blame the janitorial, I called OBV right away and within 5 min. they had the cleaning person there. A little inconvenience but just want to make sure that some know, so if you are coming in late this might be an issue. I am sure they are correcting it and know things get mixed up and details get scrambled. We have used OBV for many years and there had been time we arrived 12 or 1 in the morning, if this happened this time it would of been a big inconvenience. Still had a super stay and enjoyed the time. The home had everything we needed, the 2nd car parking is not clearly marked but we managed.

Background- family of four, two adults and two teenagers that live 8 hours away. We arrived at the Hamptons on a blustery night with the rain coming down sideways and when I opened the front door, it was warm and welcoming. This house is right on the beach with a path down to the water. It is an older house for sure, if you want new sheetrock construction, this is not for you. This was a beach house that I remember from my childhood with wood paneling and jeweled doorknobs. Everything was fine, we made a fire in the fireplace every night which was a wonderful treat. The TVs worked on the first shot, the Wi-Fi was strong and it was warm and safe... what more could you want. I am glad we picked this house for our Spring break and I think it fits a family of four or five just perfectly.

We were very happy with our stay here! The house is gorgeous and spacious, and the views are incredible. The beds are comfortable, and everything was extremely clean, especially for a pet-friendly home. One of the toilets wasn't flushing properly when we arrived, but the rental company was quick to help us out with that over the phone. There were plenty of games for the kids and puzzles for adults, multiple TVs, and DVDs everywhere, though we couldn't figure out how or where to watch them. One note of caution for families with children: Many of the windows are low to the ground, easy for kids to reach and open, and don't have screens on them. Beyond that, we had a great time here and would love to stay again!

We had a joint family get-away at the Light House in Lincoln City. I found the house to be clean and welcoming. We utilized the kitchen and cooked a family meal; afterwards we sat around the big dining room table and played games! The VHS collection had the adults giggling and the kids learned about an older technology. I really loved everything about the house, especially the dedication to the theme! The walk to the beach takes less then 10 minutes. You leave the house, walk to the end of the block, turn and walk down 2-3 blocks... but if you are carrying a lot, or thats too much, there was free parking at the nearest neighborhood entrances. We made it out to the morning high-tide twice during our stay - the kids loved finding agates and shells. With so much time spent out in the sand, the washer and drier were such a benefit! As was the back porch, for drying out wet clothes AND enjoying a morning coffee. The weather was amazing, the food was amazing. I would absolutely stay again!!!!!

This property is wonderful, delightful, and all those other adjectives which usually mean nothing, but in the case of this home are absolutely, positively true. This was our second time staying in the Lookout and it's pretty much the perfect beach-area house. It's secluded, quiet, CLOSE, and has an amazing, AMAZING deck. The only area where we ran into any problems was figuring out how to use the dang microwave on the first floor (I'm so ashamed!) Fortunately for us, there is a second microwave on the top floor, so our leftover artichoke dip was saved. Phew! Seriously, this place is the best!

We stayed here for my brother's 40th birthday party weekend. We had a large group, with small kids and a couple dogs. We were so happy with this place! We stayed at The Tides Inn in Lincoln City over Memorial Day weekend! Overall we LOVED it. I did want to say tho, the rugs had several places that they stuck up, so we all at one point caught our foot on them. Especially being wheelchair accessible, those can be issues, especially for those that may use a wheelchair sometimes but not all the time.

My daughter and I spent a wonderful few days in this condo and it was exactly as described. The view is great and we enjoyed walking on the beach. The only negatives I will mention is that the fireplace wasn't working. There was a knob/timer on the wall that I assume was meant to operate the fireplace but nothing happened when the dial was turned. I'm not sure but maybe the pilot was out. The other thing was that none of the knives in the knife block was sharp and there was only one steak knife. We tried to slice up a loaf of french bread and the knives were so dull we ended up just ripping chunks of bread from the loaf. These were just minor things and we would definitely stay here again. This is actually my second time at Waters Edge. A friend and I spent a few days last summer and found that this was the perfect spot .

The order in which we loved the most to least: instant hot water, all kitchen things that we could think of, good removable shower head and water pressure, GREAT view, comfortable sitting for 7 in living room, new beds, more than enough blankets-they are everywhere (in living room coffee table, in dresser draws, in closets). a block from Moe's, a great little bar on Hwy 101 just around the corner, Cinema just up 101 about 3/4 mi, (we saw Beauty & the Beast). Didn't find anything we didn't like.

This unit is so comfortable for me, my husband and my shitzu puppy. There three of us were all satisfied to what we paid. Super clean condo, everything that we need are there waiting for us, kitchen appliances, utensils, etc., bedrooms are really neat and clean, bathroom is super clean and smells good. and the best of all, the unit is just infront of the Siletz bay. I can say I want to stay in this unit again if we come back to Oregon Coast... I can recommend this to all of my friends. THE BEST!!!... I LOVE IT...

This condo was very comfortable. It has a full kitchen stocked with dishes, silverware and cooking equipment. It also has a dishwasher. The views were amazing and the condo is in close proximity to the beach, dining and shopping. They only downside was that there wasn't actually WiFi for my unit however I was able to connect to 6 other servers. Also, being on the 3rd floor, it got pretty warm after awhile but that was easily remedied by opening the front door and the sliding door at opposite ends of the condo for a few mins and running the fan. The bed is a firm mattress which I loved since I have back issues. I woke up well rested every morning.

The unit and location were ok. The layout of the condo is odd. The deck was great and was a pleasant place to spend time watching the inlet and sunsets. The bedroom is on the 101 side of the property and has one window that looks at the opposite unit and people walk right by all the time. The unit has poor ventilation (no A/C) and got super stuffy unless you kept the window, front door and deck door open. The timer for the fireplace ticks very loudly like a kitchen timer. The bed was uncomfortable.

Best vacation rental ever!!! Three generations of family and plenty of room for everyone. Exquisitely decorated, clean, and extremely well equipped. So much to do here. The beach is just a couple of minutes walk away and not crowded at all. Besides the beach this rental has a private lake and all the water toys you need to enjoy it. Our grandson caught lots of fish every day, the rest of the family enjoyed the paddle boat and kayak’s. If it happens to rain you’re in luck because there’s plenty of toys for the kids to play with, not to mention the bonus room over the garage with a Wii game system. We will be back!

This was the perfect setting for what we wanting - an unobstructed view of the ocean, with the sights and sounds of the ocean all day long. Bruce and Barbara were so sweet and greeted us with Valentine's candy and a birthday gift for me the next day. They gave us all the privacy we wanted, but also visited with us as well which we GREATLY ENJOYED. The home is very cozy and we loved the two propane fireplaces. It was also very nice to have the washer and dryer right there on the main floor. The upstairs "open area" was great for watching the waves crashing and the beautiful sunsets. We enjoyed watching the ocean while we played cards with our friends. This was the perfect place and the perfect week! We will be going back next year. We hated leaving!!

We just got back from our second stay at this house. I always hate leaving here. You simply cannot beat the view and atmosphere at this house. The sunsets are incredible, the every single day whale sightings from the deck or upstairs windows are unreal. If you are looking for an over the top luxury property this is not for you. If you are looking for an incredible location with a cozy feel, you will love this property. You can't beat sitting in a cozy chair in the morning drinking coffee while watching whales feed near the house. Can't wait to go back again.

It truly was a stress-free sisters and I drove through a crazy snowstorm to get there. When we arrived, the owner had brought in extra heaters to make sure we stayed warm. We were not expecting snow and thought maybe our trip was ruined. Thank goodness that was not the case. You can see the ocean from the house and walk to the beach. Behind the house had beautiful views as well. The hang out room/living room was quite large. Everywhere we wanted to visit was close by...canyon beach, Tillamook Factory, Oregon Film Museum, Peter Iredale shipwreck, the seaside museum, and the seaside promenade. Everywhere we visited had great customer service as well. People in Oregon just seem to be naturally happy. My sisters and I definitely want to go again this summer.

We have stayed at this condo several times over the past 10 years. It has such a great view and is so close to the beach. This year we were there during the King Tides which were huge and impressive. It disheartened us that the beach dune has eroded significantly. There was evidence of the tide actually washing over the dune into the parking lot. It appears that this erosion will have continuing effects. It is sad to think that one day the GetAway will be impacted by climate change . The unit we us3 was clean and well equipped for cooking. It does seem there is a feel of neglect that is difficult to pin down. The management staff was very helpful and responsive.

Driftwood was an ideal place for a winter week on the Coast. From the very first evening the place was warm and inviting. We had to figure out how to work some things, and once we did it was perfect.

One of our favorite houses at the coast. Serendipity is the perfect house for a couple. There is only 1 bedroom but there is a futon in the living room which is not comfortable. We brought our senior dog and were perfectly comfortable and entertained at Serendipity. We had a couple of drizzly days but you can just sit in the living room or out on the deck and have an unmatched view. There is no beach access. The house is at the top of a cliff where the waves crash against. The gas woodstove heats up the whole house. The kitchen only has a half fridge and just the electric cooktop for cooking (no stove) but we didn't cook while there. There is a 2 person hot tub on the deck which we used and was very much appreciated. The only things we would change is to expand the shower enclosure and make sure all the outside lights were working. The driveway could use a little repair also but after all that we will still be back.

Lovely home overlooking Beverly Beach. Amazing Views! Plenty of room for 7 of us plus our two English Bulldogs. Did have the share the bathroom next to the master suite with the 2 guys but everyone was chill about this. Also have to organize your showers due to some plumbing issues. Kitchen was nicely stocked and we made lovely seafood dinners every night. Played games at the table, did yoga in the living room and even was able to set up my bike trainer in the game room. Very comfortable beds and linens.

This house made for a wonderful visit to the beach. The house was perfect: spacious, clean, comfortable, and with everything we needed. It's a short drive to various entryways to the beach, otherwise it was really enjoyable just sitting on one of the decks and enjoying the amazing view of the ocean and trees. Also, the club access directly across the road (gym, pool, mini golf) is an added bonus. Lastly, I just wanted to mention that the staff at Open Nest was terrific to work with. Can't wait to return!

Our group of 8 ladies spent the weekend and had a great time. We even had a Tsunami warning. The weather was great, The beds were comfortable, and there was a good amount of space to spread out. Walking distance to downtown for the more energetic of the group. We had no need to contact property management while we were there. When I did contact them for questions they were quick to answer and very polite and professional. We need a place for our once a year getaway that has no stairs. Surfers Cove is perfect. We'll be back!

Open floor plan with Living room, dining room, kitchen and 1 bathroom on main floor with bedrooms upstairs. Perfect ocean views. The lowest area is assessable from the beachside and has ping pong table, chairs and storage for outside items. Home is perfect for 3 couples. Had a problem with the hot water, but that was quickly resolved by the owner with a smartphone app.��. The house was very clean and comfortable; there was plenty of kitchen gadgets; little soaps, shampoos and towels. Direct easy access to the beach for exploring. A great place to stay ❤️

A nice little house for a big family. It was nothing fancy but it was cozy and comfortable. The game room and pool room kept all the kids occupied. Amazing ocean views, great access to the beach. Kitchen is a little under supplied. Although it rained 95% of the time we were there it was wonderful to be able to enjoy the hot tub and look out over the ocean. Beds were comfortable. The heat throughout the house was inconsistent and hard to maintain at a comfortable level. We did have to BBQ outside in the dark because we could not find how to turn on the light above the BBQ. Many light switches in the house, not sure what they all do! Our biggest annoyance was the sectional couch doesn't stay together and if laying on couch we would often fall between the sections if someone moved. Overall it was a great stay but not sure it was worth the cost.

This was one of the best homes we have rented for family vacations. It had everything we needed and so much room space. The view is incredible. Although the beach access isn't for any age group. We had a great time staying at this house. The beds were comfortable, the house wa clean, the kitchen was well equipped. I was not disappointed in the slightest. I do think the cost was pretty high though and much smaller community area for what I would hope the amount would cover. For reference, the house cost $3,000 for 4 nights. We had 7 adults staying with us and we were comfortable but a little squished. For the cost, I would expect a much larger house.

The views from this home and the short walk to the beach make this a great rental. The layout of the open kitchen, family room concept is spacious and roomy. The bedrooms and bathrooms are roomy and more than adequate for a large group. Our only complaints/recommendations for improvement would be the mattresses being very uncomfortable. My guess is these are very old mattresses based on the master bedroom mattress having a big hump in the middle indicating it needs to be flipped but most likely replaced. 3 of the 4 bedroom guests complained about how horrible the mattresses were. Our only other recommendation would be adding or improving some of the kitchen amenities. The electric pan had broken legs and most of the non stick was worn to the metal (time to replace these cost $20 new), a decent knife for cutting vegetables would be nice, most of the major appliances had been replaced with very nice Frigidaire appliances but stopped short of replacing the stove to match leaving a poor operating stove. Overall the windows and the close proximity to the beach and grocery stores make this a rental I would revisit. I would recommend bringing some kitchen amenities of your own (decent knives, hot pan) and maybe a pad for the beds, unless they indicate they have been recently replaced after this add. I know seems silly that you should have to provide these things in a rental but the location and views make this a home I would return to and suck up the couple of minor creature comforts for everything else you get. Hopefully they actually read and respond to concerns expressed and this will be a non issue in the future. Overall we had a great time in this home and have some great family memories we took with us.

I LOVED staying here! It was super convenient to all the little restaurants and to the beach. Stimulus coffee has the best pastries and great coffee! The place was super clean and set up very nicely. There was so much space in the studio and I loved the little patio off the bedroom. The beach was an easy walk from the secret trail or down the road. Both offer amazing views at sunset! The only negative might be the extremely steep driveway and lack of space to turn around, but it's kind of to be expected in that area. Small inconvenience for a beautiful home with so much to offer. Pacific City is one of my favorite spots on the Oregon coast and I can't wait to come back.

The views are beautiful and the condo is in a great location. It was very clean and the master bath area is wonderful. A few things would have made the experience a bit better...the furniture was lacking; the master bed and pillows were quite uncomfortable, as was the couch. A more comfortable seating area (another recliner or chair so more than one person could sit near the window) or a more comfortable couch would have been nice. The pilot light on the fireplace was constantly blowing out. There was no Kleenex, just TP for noses. Perhaps provide a laundry basket. Overall, a nice place.

Absolutely fabulous eclectic beach cottage ON the water. SUPER view. Close beach access. Garage parking. Fenced yard, dogs allowed. Right in the heart of delightful Nye Beach. Perfect enclosed front porch to dry feet and remove shoes etc. To know: main floor double bed is VERY firm. Stairs to second floor are STEEP & narrow. Exterior is weathered and rustic in the extreme. Yard fencing acceptable for "quiet" dogs. More energetic dogs should be supervised. Interior is updated, but be prepared for pull chain lights and other eccentric whimsy. Wifi is good, TV channels good. Overall an unbeatable location.

Lots of little issues mostly about the amenities description listed on VRBO, otherwise comfy place! The main reason for renting this unit was because it listed a fireplace. I messaged the contact (property management company) to see if I needed to bring firewood or would it be supplied. After no return contact, I called the office and was told no need to bring, everything needed would be there. When we walked in, there was a sign on the wall "Please do not us fireplace". Why list it if you can't use it especially during a winter storm!! Also no TV in 2nd bedroom as listed, basically the listing needs lots of updates, otherwise nice place.

This was our second stay at Pacific Sands Resort. Walking into the unit, feels like you are almost in the surf itself. Wonderful location, unit clean and kitchen well stocked. In the winter, few people on the beach but us, the gulls, Great Blue herons (!) and sand pipers. It is an ideal place for R & R. Can definitely recommend #21, and we shall return.

Super location. Older home needs a little TLC. Turntable on microwavw doesn't work. Heater under front window puts out very little heat, had to get property management get a portable heater brought in because it got very cold. One circuit breaker tripped several times. No heaters in the bedrooms. The locationis so great that a little fixup would make this a fantastic place to stay.

The condo was well supplied and comfortable. There is a definite trip hazard wwith the buckled floor rug under the dining table. Since I had my elderly mom with me, I was always on high alert so she didn’t trip when moving around the table. The slow response time to fix a constant running toilet was very disappointing and required a second call to get it resolved.

The rental was as advertised with an amazing view of the ocean. The waves crashed on the rocks below, and made our stay a wonderful, relaxing time. The view was as far as you could see. The condo was very comfortable and clean, and provided all that we needed. We hope to stay again.

The house was great but we had a few cleanliness issues and one major set back: the hot tub wasn't working! There were dirty dishes put away, food left in the fridge, trash left in the bedroom trash can, clothes left under the bed and clothes left on the table. We had a small leak in the kitchen and the living room rear door-but I credit those to the storm. It would be a great house for family or friends vacations, but the walk to the beach is scary for young children. We were vacation for my son's birthday. We made the most of it and had a great time spending a few days away from the reality of life. But the hot tub not working was a major set back in my son's birthday weekend getaway.

this is a great spot for two people, on a cliff overlooking the bay (you feel like you can reach out and touch the ocean), adequate amenities, (micro, stove top, no oven), homey/comfortable. It was my second time. FYI The hot tub rapidly loses heat as soon as the top is off, as if the heater can't keep up. Other than that highly reccomended.

- master bedroom is bright and spacious! - master bathroom is great! - the fireplace was lovely! - the view is great! - this is one of the nicer places we have stayed in Newport - convenient parking - lock box was jammed when we arrived but after about 5 minutes, we were able to get in. - 2nd bathroom, tub drain could use some drain-o - 2nd BR doesn't have any windows but is fine - carpet really needs to be replaced - other than the carpeting, the location was ok for cleanliness - side table lamps are extremely bright, I prefer warmer/dimmer light for evening reading

We stayed over Thanksgiving 2021. The location and view can’t be beat. I chose this location mainly because of the downstairs bedroom for one of our family members who can’t do stairs. The kitchen was well stocked, there’s plenty of room for everyone, and the furniture is comfortable. That being said, it wasn’t perfect. The fireplace didn’t work, the housecleaner did a great job on the floors, cabinets and beds in the house, but if you looked up the walls, picture frames and pot rack were covered in cobwebs and dust. Also, we learned partway through our stay that the upstairs shower had a small leak or something into the laundry room down below that was obvious had been going on for a while because of the dark spots and paint discoloration on the laundry room ceiling. Once we learned that, we stopped using the shower upstairs and left maintenance a note since it was a holiday weekend and there isn’t reliable cell service or a landline here. All in all, we had a great stay but not quite the luxury we were hoping for at that price.

LOCATION was perfect—just what I was looking for with easy access to beach for long dog walks. Convenient to town amenities and rainforest hiking too. The place is verging on shabby, with worn out furniture and dirty carpet, but we were comfortable there with our two big dogs, mostly because it wasn’t perfectly manicured and decorated. Everything worked and the beds/baths/kitchen were clean. Would love to see at least the yard cleaned up and beach steps repaired for the price.

This brand new property is easy walking distance from the prom and all downtown areas. Super clean, no frills. It was overpriced ($420/night) but we were happy to find it last minute for Thanksgiving.

So many rooms and beds! Loved the extra little studio apartment. There is an extra leaf for the dining room table to accommodate more people. Lots of extras in the kitchen, there is a mixer and many spices. We had a simple Thanksgiving dinner and the kitchen was more than sufficient for that. A couple things to know- the house is not ADA if you need that although it is all on one level, and the room with all the bunkbeds is open to the rest of the house- there is no door on that room although they do have a baby gate if needed. It is not close to the beach but both deer and raccoons came by while we were there.

This is a lovely property with a wonderful view of the coast and easy access to the beach within walking distance. The kitchen appliances are a bit old but work fine. No wall light switches mean the only way to turn on the lights are will pull cords. And I'm tall so I was always running into them. A great place to spend a blustery Thanksgiving in 2021.

The location was ideal, a quick walk down the street to shops and restaurants. Dinner at Sorella was excellent Italian food and Nana's Irish pub was also good. The Chowder Bowl was also excellent. The view was beautiful, looking directly at the ocean from the living, dining and kitchen. There was a slope down to the stairs to the beach which was a bit slippery in the rain. Quite a hike back up those stairs, all 115 of them! But a public beach access is nearby. The rental was clean and as described. More information on the amenities would have helped. The mattress on the queen bed was a bit soft and the plastic sheet did not provide a good night's sleep. Excellent customer service from the rental staff when needed to answer a few questions. Everything was great, except that mattress. Which would be my only reservation for a recommendation for a friend.

We picked Sea Perch for the view right over the water because in November it usually is rainy. It turned out to be a great weekend with only a shower on Friday morning. House was Perfect for the whole family and grandkids. we couldn't have asked for better accomodations. The private beach access was a plus just a few stairs to the sand. It was clean and well stocked and with there extra fridge in the garage we even had plenty of freezer space. The views were it!

We love this house and of course the 180 degree ocean views. Best house to bring a dog because of the fenced yard. Happy the owner made improvements to beds and linens. You will enjoy everything about this place. Very few negatives this time. The hot tub was dirty and too many chemicals. Also, the table inserts were in the laundry which we didn’t know until the last day and the fireplace did not work. Management company did not call back. With all that said, this is an amazing home despite any small issues.

This is a wonderful place to stay. We loved the easy walk to the beach, the location and the well-stocked kitchen. Beds were comfortable and everything was clean. Our only concern was that the south-facing door from the living room to the deck seems to have lost its weather seal. The carpet inside the door was very wet. A new weather seal on the door and/or a storm door would clear up this problem.

Grandmas house smell , view was beautiful. Unable to use bbq , the igniter was broke, winter time rain prevented use of the hot tub because there’s no overhead cover. For the money there should of been soap dishes in the bathrooms, and there is only one tv , very few cooking utensils, windows that you can’t see out of and uncomfortable furniture, and there definitely needs to be better lightening.

The cleaning crew was not finished when the first of our party arrived at 4pm. We arrived at 4:45 & they had just left. The icemaker in the freezer was not working so we called on our first morning there. They said someone would come out. By mid-afternoon no one had arrived so we called again. This time Kyle arrived quite soon. There was a piece missing--they could only let the owner know, but he offered to get a bag or two of ice if we would like. We appreciated that very much. Thanks, Kyle! You were great getting our ice to us so quickly & cheerfully! :-) There are 3 barstools in the dining room. Each of them had a screw missing from a leg...not safe, especially if no one is paying attention. A dining table chair had a leg which had loose screws. Rather unsettling to sit on until repaired (which we were able to do). The master bedroom had no curtain on the installed curtain rod--rather disconcerting to have a feeling no privacy. Also, the mother-in-law unit had no curtain over the kitchen sink & there were no dishtowels there. We had only 4 dishwasher pods, which were used by the end of Day 2. When called, the management company said they only provide 2 days (a starter pack). It would have been nice to have enough for our whole stay of 4 days. Obviously, this information is known before an arrival...or, at the very least, we should have been told that in the "Welcome" info. The carpets on the staircase were dirty/stained. Each bedroom having queen beds & a "private" bathroom available was wonderful! The size of the house was perfect. We also loved the large dining table as all 8 of us were able to sit comfortably around it for meals & games. The creek view was lovely & interesting to watch as tides changed. Location was primo. We would probably come back, but we'll have our eyes open; we would also recommend to friends, along w/ cautionary statements added.

Pacific Breeze worked very well for a Thanksgiving holiday with 8 adults and 5 kids (ages 2 to 15). The double ovens were lifesavers as we juggled major meal preparation. And having 2 refrigerators was perfect. The view was great and enough seating to watch football games. The downstairs rec room was a hit with the kids and a good place to burn off some energy. We had some difficulty with the dishwasher and could have used more glasses. The beds were comfortable and we had plenty of towels even for our large crew for 4 days. I enjoyed working with the Oregon Beach Vacations staff better than any other management company we have rented through at the beach. From booking through checking out they were responsive and thorough in their communication.

Second time staying here. Although a couple of improvements would make place even better. The carpet is marked and in desperate need of a cleaning. Makes no sense such a beautiful place and it’s just so out of place seeing a dirty carpet. Also the gas stove burner ignition kept clicking the whole time burner was on annoying. We weren’t there, but maintenance came out , we were not there when they came out and they left phone message that stove was ok. So what can I say clicking continued for us. Conversations were very nice with maintenance have no problem with ,them,just a crazy little stove. We really love this place , location, beauty of ocean and beach. We can’t wait to come back and enjoy. Also to see if are stove clicking gremlin is still up to its mischief.

We had a lovely stay at this nice, well-equipped condo. The kitchen has a new coffee maker (drip and k-cup), new pots and pans, knives, utensils, etc. Curtains and drapes are in good condition. The bedroom has roll-down blinds, sheers, and curtains. Bathrooms worked well. TV, internet worked well. And of course Nye Beach location is wonderful

This is a beautiful, comfortable little apartment with an amazing view and walking distance to shops, restaurants and the magnificent crashing surf. Our only suggestions for the owners are: add more lighting and provide more storage space. With the closets and drawers filled with bedding and pillows, we barely had room for our own belongings.

We had the most wonderful Thanksgiving holiday at this beautiful, immaculately clean house - Pelican’s Landing! The View of the ocean is GORGEOUS! We played ping pong for hours! Watched movies on the DVD player! Watched football, went hot tubbing, flew kites - all with the sounds of waves crashing. Just perfect! THANK YOU!!!

This home was a short walk to beach access. The access is a long stairway down and up for anyone with mobility issues. The home needed some cleaning when we arrived but was mostly clean. Beds were comfortable and there was sitting for all. The house was located close to a variety of shopping locations. We were a little surprised we couldn't use the large garage but the driveway provided ample parking.

Arrived late in the day. Unit was clean and we were able to move our coolers to the cement back patio. It helped us keep an eye on our stuff as we were a little concerned about it staying in the back of the pickup. Our view was stunning and the unit was very quiet even though there were other people around. Centrally located and we were very happy with our overall stay. There were four of us and we were able to split the use of the bathrooms use for so each couple had their own space. Carpeting probably needs to be redone at some point as it is beginning to show its wear and tear. Not that there were holes or anything but it is an older carpet with some stains on it that I am sure you can't get out. We were unable to get access to the guest key lock so ended up using the Emergency Key the whole stay so it needs to be fixed as well. Property management helped us when we called late to get into the unit.

My family, friends and I stayed at the Seaquest House for 3 nights at the end of November 2021. Our stay was enjoyable and the house was clean. When we arrived at the house, the lockbox code that was emailed to us prior to our visit did not work. 2 phone calls to OBV resolved this issue. There was no garbage can at the property and the garbage disposal unit did not work. 2 calls did not resolve these issues. More dish soap and dishwasher pods on hand would be better as well.

We rented the entire house, which includes the main level and the single bedroom unit downstairs. Here are the plusses and minuses of this rental. First the plusses: Plenty of space. Fabulous views. A short walk from Agate Beach. Multiple air beds if people want to spread out. Fairly well stocked kitchen. Hot tub. Barbecues. Two garage spaces available. Very clean. Now the minuses: the lock boxes were very difficult to open and it wasn't clear if we were to use the lock box or the keypad on the doors. The beds, bedding, pillows could have been newer particularly for the amount of money we paid for the place. A bed on the floor was a little weird. The surprise taxes, cleaning fees added about $300 per day to the cost, which was not clear until we went to book the place. The road is very difficult to locate at night, maybe a reflective sign would help.

Guest house was as advertised, it was perfect for us. Looking out on the Pacific Ocean was wonderful. Beach access was a fun set of stairs that opened up to the beach. We walked daily and enjoyed our time. November is off season, we knew that going in, so weather and local activities were somewhat limited, again this was by choice. Only feed back is access off the highway can be a challenge, it’s a 50 or 55mph area, so pay attention!

Likes: A beautiful, spacious, clean townhome. Spectacular views. Quiet and comfortable. Beds comfortable. I enjoyed my stay here and would recommend this to anyone looking to get away. Internet access was fast and easy to connect to. Full kitchen with stove, dishwasher and fridge. Garage access easy and useful. Felt like home. Dislikes: Mostly nitpicks, but frustrating none the less. TV/Entertainment system in main living area way too complicated. 4 remotes, three for the TV system. Batteries were not working in the remotes. I called for service, never got any. Had to swap batteries around to use the fireplace and TV remote. BTW - I am a computer engineer by trade. Many would not have been able to figure out the TV/Entertainment system. Front door lock is a bit difficult to use. Pillows on bed way to thick. Would be nice to have an option for a slimmer pillow. Gave me a neck ache.

The property description was not accurate. The garage did not present what was promised. No bikes, beach chairs, Half of the Darts were broken, some ping pong paddles handles broken. Air hockey could not be plugged in without an extension cord (no cord), 2 of the levers to convert from pool to air hockey were broken off. Big pile of dirt on garage floor near table. We still used what was workable and had some fun. We did not use the hot tub. The water appeared very murky, not looking clean at all. Called management, they said it had been serviced the day before. This did not appear to be the case, since we own and maintain a hot tub at our residence. Kitchen counters were not clean overall. (One area had a sticky pile of jam smeared on the surface. The living room/dinining room area was poorly lit due to lack of lamps etc. One ceiling light bulb was out. Management said they would replace it for us. We stayed 4 days, it was never done. Overall, we had a great time anyway. This property has very high potential if it were only maintained at a higher degree.

The condo is in a great location in Rockaway. It was clean, spacious, easy to access and in good shape for the most part. The o ly thing that was not awesome was the couch in the main living area. I can appreciate that it's a pull out bed and the extra sleep space might be a bonus for some, I would much rather a somewhat comfortable couch myself. The garage is a nice play space for kids, the ping pong table was in rough shape, but the kids still played, just gingerly. All in all, we would keep this vacation spot for future renting.

This home was a good fit for our group of 6 adults and two dogs to watch the wild storms of November 2021. It opens up to the beach, which was great! Though there is no heat upstairs, the radiators do a good job of warming the home, and it was very comfortable. It's right on the promendade so walking to town is an easy thing to do.

A lovely place with stunning views and beautiful stairway with good traction down to the beach. The guest house was lovely, very clean and nicely arranged rooms. The television, indeed, requires a program reset by someone who holds the streaming account--presumably the property management company. Instructions in the binder are very helpful but are general and aren't relevant to the unique issues with the television.

The setting of the Cedar House is quite remarkable. It sits at the end of a private road/drive in a stand of large trees, and overlooks the beach. There is nothing fancy about the house (some might call it dated or old fashioned), but it provides a comfortable and very relaxing experience. The wood stove was easy to use and was very effective at warming the house on a damp chilly day ( the regular heating units also worked well if you don’t want to bother with starting a fire). There is a steep bit at the end of the path to the beach, but the ropes worked just fine (you might want to bring some gloves for this) and the effort is well worth it. The short (about four feet) climb down would be a challenge for someone with mobility issues, The beach, which you can see and hear from the house, was really enjoyable and not busy at all (during the week, we were often the only people there). We enjoyed our stay immensely and would definitely return for another visit.

This was exactly what we were hoping for in terms of location. You were a few steps away from the beach. You opened the door and you could hear the amazing waves. There were just two of us but the house is comfortably large enough for a family and/or a number of friends. The amenities are good. The neighborhood is quiet and felt very safe. There isn't anything plush about it, but the basics you need are there. In terms of the neighborhood, we were disappointed with our choice of only one location that delivered food but if you are cooking, picking up or eating out there are a variety of choices.

Needed a new cam light and after a call to Open Nest office the maintenance person came right over to replace the burnt out bulb. The house was just what we needed. The main bedroom bed was the right amount of firm for us. We went hot tubbing and saw a couple of nice sunsets. The street in front is quiet and we were able to play ball with the dog there in the afternoon. There's posts at the south for what I'm guessing will be a fence and that would make the yard (and hot tub) a lot more private when it's installed if they set a solid wood fence there (even if it's short since the land steps down to the next house). Other people have commented and it would be nice to have a sheet on Garbage day and other important facts for the house somewhere obvious (maybe it was there and we didn't see it?). But we'd stay at Ocean's Edge again.

This was the second trip to this wonderful house for me and my two sisters. Needless to say ~ it was amazing. The house is spacious, warm and welcoming. The views are great and we experienced all types of weather! The numerous windows allow us to enjoy the ocean's range of 'moods' along with awesome sunsets. We specifically enjoy the two working stations. It allowed us to scrapbook, watch the ocean and still be a part of kitchen activity via the open divisional wall separating rooms. Accommodations were great - home more than satisfied our needs and made for another wonderful gettogether. The only item that would make our stay better is if there could be printed instructions on how to operate the TVs. We had problems navigating and locating stations. We'll certainly be back!

Had A wonderful time. Check in and out easy. wouldn't recommend the local restaurant. Expensive and not particularly tasty food. he condo was perfect and the ocean view spectacular. A few minor housekeeping issues but nothing to deter us from returning. As we are older, the second floor unit was a bit difficult so would probably prefer a main floor unit next time. However, we were extremely happy with the whole package. Thank You

A lovely condo with a great view and perfect location. Easy access from 101, more than one restaurant close by, and right between Lincoln City and Newport for more fun. The condo itself is welcoming and nicely furnished, functional.

We really enjoyed our stay the house was clean and had everything you need. The only thing we were disappointed about is the the back yard isn't fully fenced for our fur babies. But lother than that every was great close to town. We will definitely be coming back.

Had a fantastic stay at Serendipity. The cottage is very much as advertised, on a cliff above the ocean. It is very close to the mouth of the Depoe Bay Harbor, and enjoyed watching various vessels come and go each day. Hot tub was a super bonus, as was the walkability to Depoe Bay. Only problem with the place is that I do not own it.

This home is very close to the beach, less than a block, and two of the three upper bedrooms have amazing views, as does the enclosed porch. It is truly charming, though somewhat dated. The stairway is steep and the kitchen furniture somewhat uncomfortable, which was difficult for our older parents, and the furniture overall was a little outdated. There is no dishwasher, but that didn't bother us, but the microwave made a scary noise. The kitchen is very well stocked and we made several meals at home, including cooking Dungeness crab that we caught off the 12th Street Bridge. The beds in the two main bedrooms are very comfortable, but the twin bunks are very uncomfortable; little kids probably won't mind, but teenagers and adults might. We had trouble with the entry code, WiFi password, and a lost item, but were easily able to reach Oregon Beach Vacations for immediate assistance. The neighborhood is lovely, quiet, and the neighbors are friendly. We visited the beach several times a day and loved being able to have our dog stay in the home with us. Although the description states the yard is "fenced," it is not enclosed, so we brought a long leash for our dog so she could be outside but safe when she wanted to do so. We would definitely stay here again, but would have our parents stay in the downstairs bedroom for safety reasons. Overall, it's a very lovely home in a beautiful location.

It was a great location overlooking the ocean. Near downtown. Very clean, very comfortable. Hot tub was wonderful. Quiet and enjoyable.

The place is very cozy and right within walking distance from a lot of places to eat or from the beach. Sitting by the windows in the morning or evening is a dream. The beds aren't super comfortable and bring your own salt.

Wanted a place to stay where we could bring the dogs to the beach. This could not have been more perfect! It is an older house, not fancy but very comfortable and very clean. The fenced yard and location were the two reasons we picked this place and we would go back in a heartbeat.

We had a party of 8 and found the accommodations more than adequate and the view out the front windows stunning. The kitchen was very well equipped and and worked well for gathering with the open space to the dining room and living room. The bedrooms and bathrooms worked well for our size party. A couple of the mattresses in the bunk beds should be replaced would be hard to sleep on. As far as the amenities the game room was awesome and the bar and refrigerator were very useful overall. If anything needs some improvement it would be the hot tub and sauna. The jets are worn out on the hot tub and we never could get the sauna to heat up completely. I don't think you should include them in the amenities list if they don't work properly. Overall our experience was excellent and I would recommend this place to friends and family with the above caveats.

Lovely, lovely. Easy access to miles of walking beach. Exceptional ocean views with lots of windows. Have been here 4 times with three more weeks booked. Very clean and kitchen well equipped. The owners have taken great motions to make this a relaxing and enjoyable visit to our beautiful Oregon Coast.
