My husband booked this great little romantic cottage for the two of us and our dog, Maggie, for a very special getaway for my birthday. It has everything you will need and was super clean, well-stocked, and thoughtfully decorated. We felt very comfortable in every way. You can tell that the owners take pride in ownership and keep the cabin well maintained. The bed is super comfy and the bathroom roomy. We spent quite a bit of time on the huge deck soaking up the sun and watching the whales blow not too far offshore. We even saw a bald eagle fly by. We enjoyed the many wonderful restaurants that are not too far away and loved hiking the plentiful trails between Newport and Yachats. The only thing that would have made this the perfect spot would have been beach access which really is a short distance south on 101. We did not feel comfortable walking on the side of the road so we would always drive. Seal Rocks beach is unbelievably prehistoric looking and crowd free. Park at the Curtis beach entrance for a wonderful walk south to Seal Rocks. It's a round trip walk of around 2 miles as there are no access point along the way to get back up to the road. We spent four nights and this is one of those places that we know we will come back to. About restaurants...in Newport try Clearwater, Local Ocean and Georgie's. In Waldport the Hilltop Cafe and Bistro is the bomb! All in all a great time and a wonderfully romantic little cottage. By the way the weather guessers were saying heavy rain! Well they guessed wrong and we had sun and more sun. This was in late April...

This cottage is NESTLED in a magical garden on the sea cliff and gives a wonderous sense of solitude. Upon entering, you are siimply drawn to the deck and mezmerized by the waves, the whales, the sea breezes and the unmatched sunsets! Although rainy parts of the day, the sun always seemed to shine and I was blessed seeing a RAINBOW over the ocean...not just once, but EVERY SINGLE MORNING!! It's so easy to go shopping, eat fantasic seafood, browse the local wood carving shop or grab some delicious ice cream nearby. The full kitchen makes it easy to stay here for longer time than you had most likely booked, so I will be returning and bringing my dog next time! Crisp, clean interior is charming and very accomodating. It is truly a rejuvenating experience, one that will certainly remain UNFORGETTABLE. Make new memories here, it's well worth it!!

"Beautiful location. Would have been nice to have known where the crab pot was. We searched everywhere and finally gave in to driving up to Newport to Fred Meyer and buying the largest pot we could find. Came back and after one more look found it in a cabinet outside of the kitchen that we had checked earlier but it was stuck and thought it was just a facade and not an actual cabinet. Oh well, now I have a nice soup pot. TV was super tiny too. Overall, comfortable and good location."

We stayed here after cancelling a ( supposedly high end ) hotel reservation. Nice surprise! It was older, with much deferred maintenance obvious, but decently prepared and more than adequate. Very restful and quiet, with a nice view. Loved the covered parking. Only real problem was the door to the deck (lock stuck) and hot tub location. We had a nice time and will come here again!

Awesome place with lots of outside privacy. Enjoying a fire in the back yard and the dogs are safe with it being fully fenced. There is a BBQ and pic nic table outside, we enjoyed our dinner there. There were plenty of dishes and kitchen supplies to feed an army. The beach is only 4 short blocks and everything else is within walking distance. Rooms and decorations are better than the photos. I highly recommend this house. I will be back!

This house had a cheerful welcoming appeal from the moment we walked in. Soft colors of paint, wallpaper, furniture, and nic nacs were cleverly integrated throughout. Thought was put into the supplies including games, books, and toys for the toddlers. Not only were there 5 bedrooms, but three other sleeping areas, the living room hide-a-bed, and two beds in separate nooks off of the upstairs hallway.

We had a toilet leak within a few hours of arrival that required maintenance to come out the following morning, doorway from kitchen to living room was missing large piece of wood making it very jagged, toilet paper holder was completely rusted, wallpaper was coming off the walls, ran out of toilet paper, paper towels and soap so we had to buy our own...not a problem but would have been nice to know they didn't stock those items at the house. House is in a good location and was big enough for our large group but it's very outdated and needs some upgrades/improvements.

We have rented this same house for the last 4 years. They remodeled the stairs in the last year, love it. We walk everywhere. 3 blocks from beach and about 4 to Broadway(shops). Great place!

Our family of four had a wonderful time at this rental. It was perfect! Quiet neighborhood with amazing access to the estuary beach. We even saw the famous herd of elk that live in the protected lands around the estuary from a bedroom window one morning. We already want to plan our next visit.

We absolutely loved this home! It was clean, the kitchen had everything we needed, great location, quiet and the deck had a great view of the sunsets at night. The pictures don't show this, but we had a great surprise to find a foosball and ping pong for game night. This is a wonderful home for family. We hope it's available for our next coast visit. The experience of our stay was very relaxing and accommodating. This lovely two story home allows for adults to relax upstairs with the open floor plan while separate from the kids to enjoy their own personal space with personal full bath and room with Xbox 360 games WiFi and bunkbeds downstairs. Garage has a mini air hockey table as additional entertainment. Walk to the beach is short and enjoyable three blocks. I will definitely stay here again and take advantage of the upper floor deck that has a gas BBQ! BBQ with a view! How relaxing! Centrally located to outlet mall, casino and the beach.

The location is great, a minute walk to the beach, less crowded too compared to Cape Kiwanda area. What's great: 1. Location! 2. Fully stocked kitchen. We're amazed! 3. Working dishwasher. 4. Baby gates. We appreciate how the owners thought of the kids' safety. There was one inside the house up the stairs and another on the deck. So thoughtful! Could use some improvement: 1. Lines. Some pillow cases and blankets felt sticky. 2. The house smelled musty when we first came in. 3. AC unit. It was hot and sunny when we visit and we could use a good air conditioning when it's super hot and humid out. 4. The outdoor light outside is broken. 5. The TV on the 1st level bedroom was not working. Overall, we'll stay on this location again and will definitely recommend to friends and family.

We had a wonderful 4-night stay in August 2018. A perfect location near all our favorite beach places, but tucked away with easy access to a perfect beach. I'm always skeptical from the photos, but this place was even better in person. The kitchen was well stocked with all the tools needed to cook a family meal to share. We didn't even drive anywhere for days because between the cozy house and the wonderful beach we were happy where we were. Thanks and we hope to come back soon and visit the neighbor cats too!

This was our first time staying here but won't be the last. Our family had such a great time. The beach access was only one house away. So perfect when we carried our chairs there for the day. Which were provided at the house. We enjoyed playing board games, ping pong and watching movies when it was rainy out. We brought food and found everything we needed in the kitchen when we were cooking. It was a memorable weekend. I can't wait to go back.

What a great house in a great location! The beach is virtually private, had it to ourselves all 3 times we took the very short walk down there. The road in front is perfect for our boys to ride bikes without the worry of traffic. We loved the open floor plan of the house, and every amenity and more is available at Fantasia! Great movie selection also. Just minutes to Pacific City, quiet street, dog friendly, super close beach access, and a great family home means we will be back and will very much look forward to it!

This house was quaint and comfortable! Great to have your dogs with a fenced backyard and access from the top deck! Cozy living room with a master downstairs. All the amenities you could ask for when entertaining and cooking your own meals! So close to the beach you don't need to drive just walk out your front door! We will definitely be coming back!

We had family come in from Utah and Idaho so there was 5 adults, 1 adolescent, one 15 month old and one dog. The child gate worked great for the stairs for the baby and the senior dog we had with us. I didn't expect the beach access to be so close, that was great. Lot's of wild life walking around. The house is clean and decorated very nice. It was very comfortable, friendly and accessible. Only suggestion I would have would be a child safety gate for the back porch.

Our family of 5 plus 1 dog had the pleasure of spending a weekend at this cabin. Very spacious and quiet. With bedrooms upstairs as well as the master on the downstairs there is plenty of privacy-the kids loved the ping pong table. The close proximity to the ocean-1/2 block at most make it ideal for easy access to the beach. The kitchen is well stocked for any type of meal or snack you will be cooking up. We will stay here again- we highly recommend this comfortable get away!

Nice place for a reasonable price. Very close to the beach. Easy 1 block walk. WiFi is sketchy and no cellular service at the house, neither of which is the homeowners fault. A few more bath towels would have been helpful. The house is homey and has many extras (BBQ, Fire pit, lawn chairs, a deck, ping pong, fully stocked kitchen and DVDs). We really enjoyed our stay and would rent this house again.

"My wife and I stayed in this wonderful home for a week in June 2018. The sunsets were spectacular. The house is comfortable with an unobstructed view of the ocean. It is so quiet in the evening all you hear are the waves. Shopping and restaurants are minutes away. Be sure to visit the light house about 15 minutes away, the views are fabulous. We saw whales and numerous species of birds. There are many attractions up and down the coast this is an excellent location for short tips north or south like the Tillamook Cheese factory. We were lucky enough to stay in this lovely home in February for winter storms. What a view and the weather did not let us down! Amazing wind and waves were enjoyed while walking the beach or from the safety and warmth of the home. Special pluses of the house were the separate bedrooms and baths, each couple had privacy and those who enjoyed sleeping late were not disturbed while morning folks enjoyed that early cup of coffee and the views from the kitchen. Since the weather was blustery we especially enjoyed the upstairs game room for puzzles, cards and streaming movies. We look forward to enjoying Newport again and all it has to offer

We stayed at this property last July, and it was our favorite vacation last year. The views from all parts of the house are beautiful, especially at sunset. We were very comfortable - one of our kids slept in the guest room, and one on the fold out couch in the upstairs den. The house is well equipped, and we cooked a majority of our meals instead of going out. We were steps from the beach, and what a beach! It went on for miles, and we spent a lot of time walking the beach and flying kites. The town has a great kite shop, and our two teenagers found kites that kept them busy during the vacation. This is a great starting point for coast drives, both down the coast and up. I had never been to the Oregon coast before, and it was breathtaking. We are planning a return trip.

Unbelievably beautiful home on one of the most serene, peaceful beaches I have ever seen! Stayed there for four days in August 2018, and cannot wait to go back.... From the moment we walked in the front door, our jaws dropped, pictures just cannot do justice to the panorama that awaits you. The kitchen, living areas, bedrooms, all share a sweeping, magnificent view of the Pacific Ocean and long sandy beaches. The home is extremely open and inviting, the kitchen well stocked, and the bedrooms large, clean and inviting. Everything you need is there! We had two friends from Corvalis come to join us for dinner the first night, relaxing at dinner and watching the sunset, was magical. They are planning on coming back with their entire family this summer. There is plenty to explore during the day, restaurants to enjoy at night, great shops nearby with a nice selection of fresh foods and anything else you could ever need. Personally, I enjoyed the quiet relaxation and sound of the surf more than anything else. My only regret is that we only had four days to spend, needed more!

Thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night mini vacation this week. Very clean house, with a great view and use of a 1st rate BBQ, well stocked kitchen, and large 2nd floor deck. Gorgeous view of Twin Rocks and steps from a wonderful empty beach. We even had warm(ish) temps and sunshine in April! Best "dog friendly" housing so far! Look forward to our next trip here.

Our Family loved and enjoyed this place so much! The View of the Bay is exquisite! We watched a storm sitting right at the table in the morning after we arrived! Saw sunsets every night! Great 3 bedroom house on the bay. nice quiet area with a park and sandy beaches just a few blocks away. Great for kids and dogs. If you really want to dare the waves their just a short car ride over the bridge with plenty of public parking. The house its self had everything you need and was very clean. So I suggest just getting groceries at the safeway on the north side of town, when you arrive. Had a great time. Thanks obv

My mother asked to take her to Seaside, a vacation my father and her would take each year. He is passed now and I found Jim’s House which she was more that happy her beloved pet could join us. We all enjoyed our time, especially her in Jim’s House. House was roomy, comfortable and within walking distance to beach (4 houses from prom) and few blocks to the city center. Nice views from the deck with a lot going on along the inlet the home faces with birds, fish, and water mammals. Many species of birds to be viewed close up in the yard and going about their lives in the backyards and woods of neighboring properties. There is a narrow strip of land from the home to the a small landing on the lake. We tried fishing, but it wasn't until evening that we had success with two nice trout caught on night crawlers. We had some minor maintenance issues that were promptly taken care of by company staff. We will likely return to this home again, but I'm sure we will use this company again as we were impressed by their responsiveness and courtesy. They were a pleasure to deal with. This can be a problem when renting directly from some owners.

Very nice place - it was very comfortable, clean. Really pretty view of lake from deck and living rm/kitchen. Can enclose the deck for dogs. Only down side is no access to fenced yard from inside the house - have to go out thru front porch. Some traffic noise. Nice area for long walks. We would stay there again. We enjoyed our stay.

Sweeping landscape lake and hills views out every window brought us instant calm. 5 outdoor decks/spaces right on the property gave us all our own places to take breaks in nature. Steps to coffee, food, & beach meant we parked our car and didn't drive it for a week! Everything we needed was right in this home for 4 + our pup. Every day we played on the beach, paddled on the lake, played air hockey and table tennis and pool on in-house table, biked or walked everywhere, walked our dog to the city park, made our own meals, hot tubed every night, logged into the tv system and watched a family movie! Exactly the perfect family haven escape and change of scene we needed. Thanks Lakeside Haven, we will be back!

This place met all our needs and then some! The house was very comfortable and included all the amenities needed for an amazing time with family. The beach is just two blocks away, plenty of restaurants to order from within walking distance, and two stores just a couple blocks away for necessities. The 3-N-1 air hockey, pool, and ping pong table was fun for everyone (dart board also!). The hot tub was a great way to relax after long walks on the beach. Each night we enjoyed a bond fire on the beach, s’mores, and a beautiful sunset. In the end, we didn’t want to leave and will be booking again soon!

We never want to leave! Five of us are here, so much room. House is filled with sun and amazing views. Everything you need is here. Comfy couches and beds, lots of towels, tons of kitchen equipment and brand new Weber. Game table in garage! Spa on deck is heaven. Easy walk to beach and you can have fires on the beach, s’mores! Plenty of takeout options for dining and more opening everyday. Bring the family bring the dog, you will love it. ?

Words cannot even describe or explain how me and my family felt about this wonderful home away from home. This beautiful ocean front home took our breath away! Especially the amazing view from the living room over looking the ocean. Photos didn't do it justice. You have to see it in person to believe it. Me and my family stayed here for three days. Let me tell you that those three days were absolutely, positively awesome!!! I would recommend this home to all my family and friends. We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this gorgeous beach house. It's very comfortable, spotlessly clean, well-stocked, private and quiet. The view was perfection - what a fun surprise to see so many whales! It was the perfect spot to make dinner and enjoy wine with a gorgeous sunset. We really never wanted to leave. :-) The rooms are perfect for three couples and kiddos. The kids loved the playroom and the bunk beds. The beach is a bit of a walk but not too far and a quick drive if preferred. We would absolutely recommend this house and would return.

Love, Love this place! Took my mom for her 80th birthday and we couldn't get over the view. The condo was perfect! We each had our own bath- so important and the kitchen, dining and living rooms were comfortable and all areas were clean and modern. The location and proximity to everything we needed was walkable. I had an amazing stay! The condo was just steps from the beach, and Newport could not be a more perfect town. I loved all of the clam chowder and the little bit of heaven was the perfect place to go after a long day. Wifi has been installed and there are gorgeous ocean views. This place was perfect for our visit and the views are just amazing. We enjoyed the porch and comfy bedrooms. There was plenty of heat to keep us toasty warm, but we mostly enjoyed the fireplace. The walk to town and the beach was easy enough. We loved eating at Nana's, but so did everyone else. It's more than worth the wait. We look forward to another escape to Michael's Beach Place.

This was my 3rd stay at this beautiful beach house and we had an amazing time. Love the close proximity to the beach and shopping. Having four bedrooms gave us plenty of space and privacy. Only regret was that we couldn’t stay longer. Would highly recommend this vacation home to anyone.

We had the most enjoyable stay at Ocean Rose Cottage. What a beautiful, clean home with plenty of room -- just a short walk from the beach, restaurants and shopping. Our family just a a super time at the Ocean Rose. There were 10 of us and we all fit wonderfully in the home. This is an older property and it does have some quirks, but they add to the charm. The location is fabulous and the price is super if your trying for some family time at the coast. We will be staying again!

This was a fantastic experience for our family! My wife, my son and his wife and our two granddaughters stayed at this house for 5 days and we had a great time. The house is spacious and fully stocked and functional. It was great to wake up in the morning, open the windows and smell the ocean! This house has such amazing views!!! The whole back side of the house is windows. Cooking in the kitchen? ...Oh, look the big beautiful ocean. Eating at the dining room table? ..Oh, look at the beautiful ocean. Playing chess in the living room? ... OCEAN! The master bedroom’s view is out of this world! The ocean and beach were the last thing I saw when I fell asleep and the first thing I saw when I woke up. You can literally be sitting in your bed and see people walking the beach. (But they can’t see you! ?) Other things I loved about the house- The hot tub was great with a perfect view of the ocean. The details throughout the house made me feel like I was at a beach vacation, from the decor to the knobs and handles in the bathrooms. The bedroom above the garage was really cool and perfect for my older kids. We also loved the game table with pieces for chess, checkers and other games. The jetted bathtub was a nice surprise, too! Things to consider that weren’t a problem for us, but could be for you. 1. The house is on a cliff and at the time of our stay was not fenced off. I loved it, my favorite thing was to sit in a chair next to the tree and watch the kids play on the beach below. If I had toddlers I would be concerned though. 2. None of the windows facing the ocean opened. Makes sense cause they are the full windows with the view, but it got a little warm when it was sunny and seventy degrees. (It was an unusually warm week when we went.) Even with the side facing windows open, it was hard to get a breeze without opening the back and front doors. It wasn’t too bad at all, I would just bring a fan if the weather was 70+ degrees. Overall- I LOVED this place!!! We had an amazing week at Ocean’s Edge (what a perfect name) with the family celebrating my birthday. We had no problem with staff or cleanliness. The one time we called the property manager due to something not working, they were super kind and had someone out there to fix it right away. I would absolutely stay here again and hope to come back yearly. We had such an amazing and unforgettable week. Thank you!!!

7 of us stayed at the OM house and couldn’t be happier. The amenities were fabulous which included the view of the Pacific Ocean. The elevator was a blessing to bring our groceries and luggage to both floors. A couple things to be aware of are 1. There is a BBQ but it’s on the middle floor and the kitchen is on the top floor. The only access is to go down the stairs and back up. So be sure to have what you need. It would be nice to have a table on the deck to have meals at as the weather was beautiful. 2. The master bedroom (top floor) has a skylight right above the bed. So if you don’t like to wake up to sunlight be sure to stay on the middle level in one of the bedrooms. 3. The walk to the beach is not for the person who struggles to get around. There is an entrance that is further that is much easier to manage but would recommend driving. 4. If you bring your pet access under deck is easy for them. Be sure to keep an eye on them especially with the cliff. Also, be respectful and clean up after your pet. Nothing worse then having to do it for some one else. 5. Lastly, bring garbage bags that are sturdy, there are not many provided and the ones that are provided tear easily. All in all the OM house was great. A few things to bring: games, movies, chairs (outdoor), laundry soap, dish soap, garbage sacks, bathroom soap, hand soap, etc. some of this is supplied but not enough for a week.

It'd be hard to find a more sublime spot for a relaxing weekend of whale watching or simply just chilling out. Great views, great accommodations. The third-floor deck and elevator are an ideal combo for wheelchair users or people with limited mobility. The main suite and bathroom are wonderfully accessible and spacious, the only hitches being a small lip to the somewhat small roll-in shower and a sizable lip for the screen door onto the deck. No prob for a manual chair user, but a power chair user would be wise to bring a small threshold ramp. Also, there is a steep rocky driveway that would be hard for anyone with a wheelchair to go up or down without a car. Those small things aside, it was great.

The house itself was physically lovely and clean. The ocean view was spectacular. The elevator was very handy, but tiny. I barely fit in there with my power wheelchair. A power scooter might not fit in the elevator. The house sits on a bluff above the ocean and there is no beach access directly from the house. The roads around the house are very rough and narrow and not navigable for someone in a wheelchair. The house sleeps up to eight people. However, there are only two bathrooms, and a dining room table for six. So it was a bit tight for our party of 8. It would be very comfortable for 4 to 6 people. Overall, we had a good stay considering the above limitations.

Great place! Centrally located to many activities. House was immaculate and very comfortable. Well stocked with linens and other necessities. The views were spectacular - especially the sunsets. Keep on the lookout for the resident whales. What a great vacation - beautiful sunsets, whales, and the sound of the surf to lull you to sleep. Would definitely recommend this house to anyone.

This place was perfect! My husband is a quad in a wheelchair and the elevator made it possible for him to finally have a place to stay with his kids and his dog. we stayed for 4 nights and it was so lovely we booked it for another vacation in a few months. I also loved how the kids were safe on one level and we had the privacy on the upper level. The view was amazing and the walk to the beach access was easy and there was a place for my husband to watch us from up top. The neighbor was friendly and the convenience of a washer and dryer was great! Lots of kitchen supplies so you can stay in and cook but what was the kicker for me was a handicapped shower. Made our stay comfortable for my husband and that is really important to me. Thank you so much we will be back!!

Stay Here! This was our second visit to this wonderful, quaint beach house. My husband and I are all about the nostalgic experience, and this beach house does not disappoint! The ocean views from the living room are amazing and the post-card view from the bay kitchen window are stunning. My favorite part of this vacation was watching the sunrise from the kitchen table or from the deck. Oh, and the deck...I took advantage of this deck constantly to people watch or just to talk to my old friend, The Ocean! The beach access is just a few steps from the front yard, around a corner. This house is roomy, comfortable and so clean and tidy! I was so happy to find this wonderful house just the way I remember it from four years ago...with some really nice updates! The decor changes are very nice and I was absolutely surprised and pleased with the awesome dishwasher! This home is located close to everything, too!

We absolutely loved our stay at this property! This property offers a wonderful experience for families. Our grandkids loved having the beach right there. It is a beautiful beach and we loved flying kites and running on the beach. The house offered everything we needed: comfortable beds, roomy bathrooms, and a great floor plan. It was very clean and well maintained. I can't think of anything we would change about this house. We have rented several properties on the coast and this is by far the best because of the large yard and proximity to the beach.

This was my families first time renting a home for vacation and it most certainly set a high bar. The house was clean and very spacious, we loved it. We had invited some family to stay as well and they loved the location and home. I will most definitely stay again in the future. They provided more than I had thought and having the beach out your back door was so great for our kids, this was their first time to the ocean and we couldn't have asked for it to be better. The view, the view! The beach - mostly secluded. The house - homey (even though the dishwasher leaked the first time we ran it, the company sent someone to fix it promptly and efficiently). The kitchen was good but the utensils were not great, nor were the pans. Could use some care in cleaning the drawers of other peoples crumbs and cooking debri, but that is fixable. Next time we may bring our own knives, and utensils. We plan for a next time, FOR SURE! This is the start of a great tradition. One other quick note, there are no bathtubs in this home so we bathed the little one in the utility sink - more memories made. (-: Overall a terrific home and location. Close enough to tourist activities and yet not in the "big city". There is a nice grocery story in town with most anything you might need. Not too far from the home. Thank you for sharing it with others.

Perfect for us, 6 single ladies over 70 . One blowup bed (lots of room on the front room to leave it up) and there was a bed each, with one on the sofa. We did not use the top bunk. Plenty of room and great views. Easy to the beach. The only thing I would add is a railing on one side of the front stairs. Will rent this home again

This was a wonderful getaway property. I wish that I could have stayed longer!! It was so relaxing. The beach was right out the backdoor with easy access stairs. There was a picnic table and bench overlooking the beach. The master bedroom even had a doggie door so that the dogs could come and go as they please into the yard. Although we did not use the doggie door since the back yard isn't completely fenced, it was still a great addition. Everything worked great and the bed was so comfortable! It was a little odd that only 1 chair faced the TV in the living room, but it was an easy fix to move the recliner over. There were no tvs in any of the bedrooms but that was not a big deal. Would love to return!!

We spent the three days before Thanksgiving at the condo, so it was very quiet--hardly anyone else around. It rained and was stormy most of the time, so we enjoyed watching the waves as they came up to the rip-rap. We especially liked that the condo had ocean-view windows plus doors to balconys in both the living room and the bedroom. Both rooms were quite spacious, much larger than most hotel/motel rooms would be. We also appreciated the two baths. Everything was very clean and the furnishings were quite adequate for our stay--not new but in good shape. There were even some books to keep us occupied as we also watched the waves. We enjoyed a pizza from the store one night, and the next night brought back some takeout from Hawk Cafe; both were quite good.

This is our third time at this complex, but our first time on the second story. We wanted to experience stormy weather, but didn't want to risk having the windows boarded over, so we opted for an upper condo. The view from the balconies was even better than the ground floor. The drawback is that you have to go out the front and around instead of just walking out your back door if you want to go on the beach. This unit has a large bedroom with a very comfortable bed. It also had two nice sized bathrooms. The "pink" bathroom had a very slow drain so you may want to use the "grey" one for showering. The living room had a newer t.v. so we were able to hook up our Roku and catch up on some movies in our down time. We didn't do any major cooking, as we head to Lincoln City or Pacific City for most meals. We did try the pizza from the trading post this time and really liked it. The only improvement I would suggest is more comfortable furniture in the living room. There was one recliner that was very comfortable, but the love seat (which I believe folded out) was not at all comfortable to sit and watch t.v. on. The storms that came through during our stay were fairly mild, but we still loved to stand on the balcony and watch the force of the waves. And, yes, they do shake the building and rattle the doors, which is part of the fun! We always travel with a box fan for white noise though, so it didn't keep us up at night. We really enjoyed our stay and will absolutely consider this unit when making future reservations!

Found the apt very comfortable. View of surf is great. Be forewarned, stormy waves crashing on rip rap rocks will resonate through the building. Microwave display doesn't illuminate all segments but it does work. Murphy bed in living room was a comfortable surprise. Really enjoyed our stay.

My husband and I love this place! We've enjoyed the cozy, casual, comfort and incredible view of #18 at Pacific Sands for 20 years. The little village of Neskowin is fun to explore, walks on the uncrowded beach are refreshing, and hikes on nearby forest trails exhilarating. At the end of the day we return to #18 for a pleasant evening, reading a book, listening to the waves, and watching the fire flicker. What more could you ask for?

Beautiful view of the ocean. Enjoyed staying right on the beach. Only things that we thought could have improved our stay were half of the lights didn't work and the carpet was dirty by kitchen area. Would suggest putting wood or tile in this area and entry way. Much easier to clean. Also, glad that this didn't have pets because of allergies. Thank you. PS Would be nice to have simple instructions on how to operate TV/DVD for older people like us.

We were in Gearhart for our daughter's wedding. She was married on the beach, just down the road from this beautiful house. Looking at pictures of this house makes me smile, brings back so many great memories of that "wedding weekend". The house was just as described. It is incredibly spacious and charming. We had so much fun walking around the grounds and exploring the area. We understood parking was limited, and that was fine. I do wish there was a second shower, but we knew what we were getting when we rented the house. The management company was great - we accidentally locked ourselves out of the house and had to call them to come let us in. They were prompt in coming over with a spare key! Overall, a great weekend and we would happily stay there again!!

This cottage was in the perfect location. We enjoyed walking down to the sea wall and walking along the shops of Depoe Bay. We were also close enough to drive to a nice beach, to Lincoln City, and Newport but away from all the crowds. The cottage itself is perfectly set up, it is cozy and a perfect setting for a romantic getaway at the beach. There were plenty of supplies in the kitchen to cook with. I think our only complaint was the size of the TV! Which, honestly is not a deal breaker and we look forward to coming back to Rememberance at Depoe Bay.

Absolutely spectacular ocean view! We loved waking up to the beautiful ocean view from every bed. The three beds in the loft have spectacular views! . The home, while a bit rustic, was comfortable for us to be together totally enjoying the view. The fireplace had a sign on it that said closed, so we didn't get to use the wood we bought and have a cozy fire. I would recommend bringing foil and things like that. Note: There are stairs to the entry. We found the home clean and ready to enjoy! (One of the dining chairs does have a wheel that falls off). (The wifi didn't really work...incase you need to do work) Enjoyed our visit!

I haven’t stayed at a better place. The jacuzzi bath was phenomenal. Seeing the river and sunset was gorg. I loved that there were containers to store leftovers. That made my life a lot easier. Everything you need is there. I cannot wait to return.

Eight of my family just got together at this home! It was perfect! The home is filled with high quality kitchen dishes, and the bed linens are lovely. The kitchen is stocked with everything you could possibly need! We cooked and baked with all the gadgets we needed! The views are amazing! The kitchen table easily seats eight with ocean views. The living room also has the same view. Upstairs are two beautifully decorated bedrooms with a queen bed in each. Both rooms have full ocean views! The third bedroom has twin trundle beds, so it can easily sleep four. The upstairs bathroom is spacious and filled with white fluffy towels! The main floor has a comfortable bedroom with queen bed and bathroom with shower. There are only three steps to get into the house, which was perfect for my elderly mom. There are also multiple games and puzzles. This house was perfect for our family gathering. It is a lovely, perfectly stocked and decorated home. We will definitely be back!

Our family vacation turned out to be so memorable in this perfect beach house. The location is just right to access Seaside city and the beach easily. We were amazed by the decorations in the house: everything is so well thought and in the Pacific NW beachy style. My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Sand Dollar Home in Seaside. It is just steps away from the prom, has beautiful ocean views, and is close enough to town with a convenient short walk down the prom...and yet far enough away from downtown you don't get the crowds and traffic of people going by the house. The house is stocked with everything we needed for our stay. My kids enjoyed turning on the fire place, working on puzzles, and watching movies, all of which came with home. The beds were comfortable and we loved the fact it was pet friendly and we could bring our dog Maple. I would definitely recommend this home to anyone who is looking for a beach getaway!

This house offered all kinds of amenities. Fireplace, T.V., DVD, Front Porch, and a lot of room. The owners have DVD's and books to choose from, Washer/Dryer/ and silverware in the kitchen. It is a half a block to the beach and Prominade, which you can stroll down the promenade all the way down to the main tourist area with all the restaurants, gift shops, and arcade. I can't think of a better way to enjoy Seaside, and relax and do whatever makes you happy. The owners are great people and this is reflected in the way their home is presented. Make sure to sign their guestbook, and have a great time.

A wonderful home that is tastefully decorated, which is located steps away from the Seaside Prom. We walked every day into town (5 minutes) to enjoy ourselves. Located in a quiet neighborhood. Fully equipped kitchen offering more than my kitchen at home. Our evenings were spent sitting in front of the welcoming fireplace enjoying popcorn...and, yes, they have a popcorn popper! Also enjoyed watching wonderful Ocean Views and Sunsets in the comfort of the living room...through HUGE living room windows! The perfect 2-day beach getaway.

A wonderful beach home in which to enjoy the ideal beach getaway! This larger, tastefully decorated comfortable beach home is perfect for either small or large groups. Fully equipped with every imaginable need: games, kites, large selection of DVD's, up-scale pots, pans, utensils, serving pieces & appliances. The extra-large bathrooms were perfect for our needs and we also enjoyed evenings in front of the inviting gas fireplace! Nice, quiet neighborhood and only steps from the Seaside Prom. And, rather than driving during our stay, we chose to take several short 5 minute walks to the Seaside Turnaround, where we enjoyed eating Pizza at Harbor Pizza!

So we just got back from a week-long vacation at the Sand Dollar House on seaside beach it was absolutely amazing I wanted to bring my family to see how beautiful this place is upon arrival to the vacation home it was even more beautiful than the pictures even show the house was absolutely amazing plenty of rooms for our whole party of 10 I felt like not once were we on top of each other there was plenty of space for everybody it was exactly two houses from the beach which is very convenient when you open up your window and one of the bedrooms you can see the beach and listen to the waves at night the kitchen was absolutely perfect had everything we needed one thing I love is the fireplace made it cozy and the kitchen had everything we absolutely needed one of my favorite things in the whole house was the rubber duckies in the bathroom made my whole day I would recommend this house to anybody who's looking for A Little Piece of Heaven on the seaside Shore it's absolutely beautiful I hope to bring my family back again and make this a ritual thank you so much to the owner of the house for sharing this amazing beautiful house with us we absolutely loved it made amazing memories can't wait to come back again thank you

8 of us (all adults) stayed at the Sand Dollar for 5 nights, and it never felt too crowded. It was spacious enough to accommodate all of us. After driving for 8 hours (we took the long route), it was great to arrive at this house. It was clean, smelled nice and everything we needed was in order. Check in and out was simple and easy, and was relayed to us through email a few days prior to our arrival. Beach access was extremely easy, and is just 2 houses down from the promenade. We walked on the beach every day. This house is also very close to shopping, coffee and restaurants. We did not drive frequently, but instead chose to walk everywhere because it was close enough to do so. Seaside was a perfect tourist community for us, the beach is gorgeous in this area (lots of sand!) and the house was perfect for us. The only issue we had was that we had to go back home at the end of the week. We would have liked to stay longer!

Great location and amenities for our family to get away for Thanksgiving. Small apartment over garage great for a couple who wanted some privacy. We only had immediate family travel down and plenty of space for all. Heat did not come on initially and call resulted in poor notes and did not fix issue. Positive was technician was at the house in about 15 minutes and fully resolved issue. He also came back the next day to make sure heat was working. We went to Ace Hardware and picked up 3 screws, washers and an Allen Wrench to fix the bar stools. Well stocked kitchen, hand can opener needs replaced. No rubber spatula's or baster. We had relatives live local so we could fix our issues on Thanksgiving day without calling anyone. King tide flooded fire pit area, water level about 3 inches over rocks. Overall great experience and would rent again if date and time line up.

We rented this beach house for a few nights and it was very well kept, clean and nice. There is access to the backyard for fishing, close to restaurants / entertained and beach access is down the street. The house is big with lots of room to accommodate guest and it was a pleasure to stay at this beach house.

Great beach house! We stayed here for my husbands birthday weekend with our family and friends, it was four couples with kids and there was more than enough room for all of us to hangout and for the kids to run around. With all the family it was just wonderful having such an open kitchen and living space as we could cook and still watch the kids and enjoy the family. My absolute favorite part of this home was the backyard! If you love the water you’ll love this house. Having the creek in the backyard was amazing. We were able to fish and enjoy the water without having to go anywhere. There’s a FirePit and plenty of space for the kids. We loved this place so much that we did it all over again two months later for my birthday! We had even more family there and there was still plenty of room for everyone. We will definitely be returning and celebrating more birthdays here!

Condo was surprisingly roomy and the view of the ocean was amazing and beautiful. Plenty of room to spread out to accommodate a large group. Couple of draw backs were that there was not a DVD player and it was very cold in the condo for the first night until the heat could warm it up. Would have been nice to have had the heat going before we arrived. Other then that we really enjoyed our stay and would come again.

This condo was a hit instantly. It is very large with plenty of room. The view is gorgeous with a long balcony. We saw a pod of Orca's on our 1st evening. The bedrooms are very spacious as well as the bathrooms. The kitchen has everything you need for cooking in. It was very comfortable. The only down side is the dining room chairs. We tried to play cards and after half an hour, our legs were hurting. They have a very hard edge and sink down in the middle. Other than that, I would still give this place a 12 out of 10! I will be coming back!

We (2 couples and 1 baby) stayed here for our daughter's first birthday. Upon walking into the house for the first time, the views were amazing. The house was setup ideally for our situation, with a master bedroom and bath upstairs, with a smaller room right next to it for our baby's pack and play. Downstairs was another bedroom and full bathroom, suiting our inlaws well. The home was well stocked with extra blankets and the furniture was cozy. I loved that every window opened, so we could air out the house with the lovely ocean breeze. We used the telescope to look at surfers and beach goers, and the cable and wifi worked great. The wifi was fast up to 4 devices, then slowed down. The kitchen was well stocked and had just about everything we needed for cooking dinners and breakfast. Regarding the previous review about ants, there were traps on the kitchen floor and we didn't see any ants. We did have to vacuum upon arrival, but we had a crawling baby so we may be pickier than most. The home was stocked with enough of the essentials for a 3 night stay. The mattresses are firm, and we had one guest sleep on the downstairs couch with no complaints. This house has a great location, but be warned, if you are out of shape or have any kind of disability, you'll need to drive down to the beach. The beach access includes walking down a steep hill, and then LOTS of stairs, and of course, coming back up said hill and stairs. This house was great, and our experience here made us decide to make an Oregon Coast trip each year for our daughter's birthday. Early August weather here also seems to be perfect. No wind, 50-70 degrees, and either overcast or sunny.

The view of the ocean out this 2nd floor condo is even better than the photo. You can see down the beach for miles and either walk across trails in the short dunes in the photo or go down the promenade 1/2 block and step right onto the sand. The slightly dated but very beach-y condo decor will help set the mood. The condo is roomy and adequately furnished unless you decide to put down both the wall bed and extend the sofa bed which are right next to each other. Having two full baths was really nice. The kitchen was furnished with enough dishes and pans for cooking. Bring your own condiments/spices/etc since you will find only salt and pepper and ice. Parking was plentiful between the lot behind the building and another across the street. We were not in high season however. Instructions to enter the condo were clear however they did not include the code for the guest laundry room. It would have been helpful to include those so that we did not have to call to get them. Ocean Beach Rentals promptly answered calls and responded very quickly when we asked for a hair dryer. There were sand toys on the balcony for children but no beach towels and we were not about to take the immaculately white bathroom towels to the beach. Restaurants and small shops are about a 10-15 minute walk away so there is no need to move your car except for sightseeing or grocery shopping. Overall, this condo filled our needs and more and it will be our first choice if we return to Seaside.

Spent a wonderful time at the beach. My 93 year old mother spent a few days with me and we so enjoyed the view and the condo. Weather was perfect - we had one day where it rained all day and the wind blew but the rest of the time we had great weather. We were able to get the spots on the carpet out. It appeared someone had a tar like substance on their shoes from the beach. The view is spectacular and the condo is decorated so cute. Hope to return next year and spend two weeks. Great value - thanks so much for making it affordable.

We just got home after a stay at this beautiful beach cottage. Will definitely stay again! Everything you need for a wonderful vacation! Private backyard overlooking the beach! This was the perfect getaway my mom and I needed for a few days! A wonderfully quaint and clean abode! Had everything we could need there and Depoe Bay has become one of my favorite places on the oregon coast. Felt like the whales, birds, and a little chipmunk we saw each morning became our friends in a sense. The views were just breathtaking... especially sunsets enjoyed in the hot tub! The space and amenities were just right. So hard to leave this peaceful place and return to the realities of non-vacation life. Thanks for such a great place for a bit of relaxing respite!

The place was perfect for a wonderful relaxing time, for two. Great location, you can walk to all the shops in Depoy Bay. The wife and I sat on the deck every night looking out to the sea, and at 4:30pm on two of the nights we saw a whale. Highly recommend this GEM, no one will be disappointed.

What a great place to stay. The living room/kitchen is all windows. The location is private but within walking distance of Depoe Bay. The hot tub is fabulous looking out to the ocean. There were oatmeal cups and coffee in the kitchen. We had a marvelous time and would definitely come back. Just the right size for 2 people.

First off, this was our very first time renting a cabin out of state. And I must say, this experience has been absolutely amazing. I spoke to a rep on the phone when reserving the cabin, and she answered all of my questions and concerns. The cabin is much bigger inside that you might think, and very open and clean, with many windows looking out over the ocean. The hot tub was a nice addition. They built a couple walls around the hot tub for more privacy. We also brought our little dog with us, and the owners provided a bed for her! She very much enjoyed herself, starring out at the ocean in the mornings. And there's enough parking for 2 vehicles. Our F-150 fit just fine. So, overall it was a great experience for us. A much needed break away from our lives. We plan on renting this cabin in the future. Thank you again!

This is a very comfortable, clean, enjoyable home on great site. Nice deck, nice views, all around good place to have spent a thanksgiving holiday. Two complaints: the property is listed with capacity for 12, but that's a stretch, as there are 4 bedrooms, each with space for 2 people. A pullout single bed adds one more spot, and a inflatable bed could add an additional two spots, although it's not clear where that would fit. Better to label the property as comfortable for 8, and several more on the floor and using a rollaway. Minor second complaint: the house would benefit from a more complete selection of normal cleaning materials... a couple of bars of hand soap, more trashbags, a sponge in the kitchen. Thanks

I am an activities director at an assisted living facility. From the first contact with the company I was impressed at their willingness to help me in every aspect of our outing. We arrived and were all very happy with the house! It is an amazing place to stay. The home is well kept up and very clean. We are so tired and this is so lovely. Everything is nice and new and clean. There are plenty of pots, pans, kitchen utensils. Soap for the washer, dishwasher and kitchen sink are provided. We are okay with stairs, but there are a lot of them in this unit. Garage is on the first level, bedrooms on the second, living and kitchen on the third.

Had a very relaxing and sunny stay, home was as pictured and served our needs perfectly. The one small issue we had with plumbing was handled expertly and within a few short hours. Pets had a secure and fun place to share the vacation with us. Whales love to hang out just offshore and daily observed 3 to 5 at a time. Got some great shots of heads and tails out of the water with long range lenses although careful observation with the naked eye could spot them easily. Had great blue heron watching the surf and another day a bald eagle on beach directly below house for several hours. House was very comfortable for the 4 people we had staying although 6 would not be a problem. House well equipped for the rainy days with games, puzzles, movies, etc although we did not have much time to enjoy as the "SUN" was shining the entire trip and 75 degrees (I'm sure Oregon Beach Vacations had a hand in arranging this just for us!!!)

House was clean. View out dining and living room of beach great. Stairs to the beach with a climb over rocks at the bottom. This is just off of 101 so caution is needed to enter or leave the drive. Having a garage is a plus. Bedrooms are on the east side of the house closest to 101 so some road noise is heard. Overall a nice week.

We’ve spent five nights here having a wonderful time. The view couldn’t be better, being right next to Roads End State Park; the closest home on NW Jetty. Watching the windsurfers each afternoon was fascinating, especially when they were airborne! Some of them are very skilled. Having four bathrooms with only four people was a luxury, each very well maintained. The two upstairs baths have jacuzzi tubs. The kitchen was well stocked with several cooking utensils and all. The three recliners and sofa in the living room was perfect for our small group. Twelve people would be a bit much... There’s a TV room downstairs and each of the three upstairs bedrooms have a TV. The master suite is spacious with a gas fireplace and balcony. There’s one other upstairs bedroom with a balcony. What needs attention: The north facing windows were filthy and difficult to see out of. The dishwasher was broken and waiting for a replacement part. The two upstairs beach facing bedrooms mattresses could be replaced. The master suite has a memory foam mattress which tends to sag in the middle, but it was comfortable enough. My bro said he rated his mattress a 4 out of 10 for comfort, but he’s picky. The BBQ was burned through. My son used the hot tub several times. I found it to be a bit on the cool side, but okay. The upstairs jacuzzi bath was much better and relaxing. Each shower can hold two people or are oversized. I can see why this rental is booked most of the time. However, weekend rates seem overpriced... Would we return? Definitely!

11of us stayed for the weekend and we had a blast. plenty of beds to fit out family. we enjoyed hanging out in the living room that had seats for all of us. We love the great food at the hotel restaurant. This was out second time staying at the house and won't consider staying anywhere else. We enjoyed our stay at Swallow's Nest immensely! Our family group of six adults and four kids had plenty of room as the house is spacious. The kids loved the loft area! The beds were comfortable and the porch off of the second story was a wonderful place to sit, relax and chat. The beach was within walking distance. The kitchen of the house was equipped with what we needed to cook our own meals but we also enjoyed several meals prepared by local restaurants in Pacific City. Our long weekend was wonderful! We will return to Swallow's Nest in the future!

We loved the Swallow’s Nest! It is a great house with lots of space. We are a group of friends that enjoy spending time at the Oregon Coast. This house had space for us all. This is the cutest house! For a 4 bedroom house, it was cozy, super clean and beachy, with a perfect location. It was walkable to everything in town including Pelican Brewery and the coffeehouse. Though it's close in to town, it was very quiet and just the perfect getaway for us. The living room/dining room and kitchen are open and roomy enough for everyone to gather round (especially when making a crab feast!), yet still cozy and inviting to relax at the end of the day. We'll definitely stay here again!

My family and I have stay at this house more than once and will continue to do so. It has the perfect setup to stay with 6 or 7 of your friends or family. Awesome TV set up on the main floor, but there is another little TV in the bedroom downstairs. Perfect for being a part of the group, but also having privacy. You are located right between The Tillamook Factory and Cannon Beach. You you can do all the exploring you want, then return to a more quiet, but beautiful beach in Rockaway.

We had a great time at the Doty house. Rockaway Beach is one of those communities that is not very crowded and has an wonderful beach. We definitely enjoyed the house. On the top level, the living room is really comfortable with really nice views. There are four bedrooms. Two are on the first floor, one is on the second floor, and one is on the third. This bears mentioning because my wife and I have a baby. We were on the bottom level and our friends were on the top. Noise with the baby was never an issue. I really liked this floorplan because you can have more than one family staying there without feeling cramped. Everything was clean and nice. We cooked a lot and the kitchen had everything that we needed. Without a doubt, I would stay here again.

We came up for 2 nights and couldn't have had a better stay. The rooms were all clean. Comfy Beds. Very quiet and private but still very close to 101 to get into town. We were able to walk the main road. I would for sure stay here again.

Pros: Good view of the ocean, nice kitchen, beds were comfortable, nice decks on each floor and we only had to load and start the dishwasher when we were leaving. Cons: The driving directions were not correct...we all had to use GPS to find the place. The house furnishing are dated and do not accommodate a large group very well. There were eight adults in our group and the dinning room table only had four chairs so we could not all sit together for our meals. The seating in the living room only had four comfortable chairs and a couch. There were four office chairs that looked like the ones you would see in any waiting room. The configuration of the bedrooms in the basement was weird because you had to walk through on bedroom to get to the other. When we first arrived the house had a really strong odor so we opened all the windows to air it out. Once we closed the windows the basement still had this strong odor. I'm not sure but I think it could possible have something to do with the old carpet on the stairs and in the basement.

We came to Rockaway Beach for a grand farewell to Summer 2016. The house is a delightful cottage with all the comfort amenities one could want. The sound of the crashing waves lulls you to sleep after a quiet day walking on the beach and viewing the sunset from the front porch. This is the house Aunt Bea would have had. The kitchen is well appointed with all appliances operational. The full capacity washer and dryer a definite plus for beach living. The house is, cozy and warm. The views from the upstairs family room are a plus for days the weather is prohibitive. We force anther stay in our future!

Overall we had a lovely time at the house. The door code initially wasn't working, but within the hour of arriving Oregon Beach Vacations was in touch and provided keyed entry. The house is cozy and well organized with bedrooms on the first and second floor. The toilet upstairs is handy and the shower downstairs was hot. However, currently it does not sleep 8 people. Two people in our party had to make do with not only a broken futon bed but also a very lumpy mattress. Even sleeping on the floor on the mattress was not a comfortable alternative. Also, toilet paper was in short supply, and so were blankets. If 8 people are to be accommodated then these issues should be addressed. The location right on the beach was the main attraction and it didn't disappoint, despite cooler weather and some rain.

Hello, my family stayed in the home and enjoyed our stay, love having the access to the beach very close. Only complaint I have is when we arrived and we arrived right at check in time 4:00 p.m. it was not cleaned. Beds not made and the towels and items still in washer. I don't blame the janitorial, I called OBV right away and within 5 min. they had the cleaning person there. A little inconvenience but just want to make sure that some know, so if you are coming in late this might be an issue. I am sure they are correcting it and know things get mixed up and details get scrambled. We have used OBV for many years and there had been time we arrived 12 or 1 in the morning, if this happened this time it would of been a big inconvenience. Still had a super stay and enjoyed the time. The home had everything we needed, the 2nd car parking is not clearly marked but we managed.

Background- family of four, two adults and two teenagers that live 8 hours away. We arrived at the Hamptons on a blustery night with the rain coming down sideways and when I opened the front door, it was warm and welcoming. This house is right on the beach with a path down to the water. It is an older house for sure, if you want new sheetrock construction, this is not for you. This was a beach house that I remember from my childhood with wood paneling and jeweled doorknobs. Everything was fine, we made a fire in the fireplace every night which was a wonderful treat. The TVs worked on the first shot, the Wi-Fi was strong and it was warm and safe... what more could you want. I am glad we picked this house for our Spring break and I think it fits a family of four or five just perfectly.

We were very happy with our stay here! The house is gorgeous and spacious, and the views are incredible. The beds are comfortable, and everything was extremely clean, especially for a pet-friendly home. One of the toilets wasn't flushing properly when we arrived, but the rental company was quick to help us out with that over the phone. There were plenty of games for the kids and puzzles for adults, multiple TVs, and DVDs everywhere, though we couldn't figure out how or where to watch them. One note of caution for families with children: Many of the windows are low to the ground, easy for kids to reach and open, and don't have screens on them. We had a joint family get-away at the Light House in Lincoln City. I found the house to be clean and welcoming. We utilized the kitchen and cooked a family meal; afterwards we sat around the big dining room table and played games! The VHS collection had the adults giggling and the kids learned about an older technology. I really loved everything about the house, especially the dedication to the theme! The walk to the beach takes less then 10 minutes. You leave the house, walk to the end of the block, turn and walk down 2-3 blocks... but if you are carrying a lot, or thats too much, there was free parking at the nearest neighborhood entrances. We made it out to the morning high-tide twice during our stay - the kids loved finding agates and shells. With so much time spent out in the sand, the washer and drier were such a benefit! As was the back porch, for drying out wet clothes AND enjoying a morning coffee. The weather was amazing, the food was amazing. I would absolutely stay again!!!!!

This property is wonderful, delightful, and all those other adjectives which usually mean nothing, but in the case of this home are absolutely, positively true. This was our second time staying in the Lookout and it's pretty much the perfect beach-area house. It's secluded, quiet, CLOSE, and has an amazing, AMAZING deck. The only area where we ran into any problems was figuring out how to use the dang microwave on the first floor (I'm so ashamed!) Fortunately for us, there is a second microwave on the top floor, so our leftover artichoke dip was saved. Phew! Seriously, this place is the best!

We stayed here for my brother's 40th birthday party weekend. We had a large group, with small kids and a couple dogs. We were so happy with this place! Tons of games, fully stocked kitchen lots of extra bedding and what a view!! Walk right out onto the beach, we enjoyed a fire in the fire pit one night. Away from the busy part of Seaside. We enjoyed their games and beach toys, foosball and cable TV. We will definitely stay here again for our next group vacation. Thank you!!

We stayed at The Tides Inn in Lincoln City over Memorial Day weekend! Overall we LOVED it. I did want to say tho, the rugs had several places that they stuck up, so we all at one point caught our foot on them. Especially being wheelchair accessible, those can be issues, especially for those that may use a wheelchair sometimes but not all the time.

The view is unbeatable with easy access to the beach (as a bonus - the tide was low during our stay so we were able to enjoy the tide pools north or the home). The home is clean and comfortable with all the amenities that we needed. Will definitely return!

My daughter and I spent a wonderful few days in this condo and it was exactly as described. The view is great and we enjoyed walking on the beach. The only negatives I will mention is that the fireplace wasn't working. There was a knob/timer on the wall that I assume was meant to operate the fireplace but nothing happened when the dial was turned. I'm not sure but maybe the pilot was out. The other thing was that none of the knives in the knife block was sharp and there was only one steak knife. We tried to slice up a loaf of french bread and the knives were so dull we ended up just ripping chunks of bread from the loaf. These were just minor things and we would definitely stay here again. This is actually my second time at Waters Edge. A friend and I spent a few days last summer and found that this was the perfect spot .

The order in which we loved the most to least: instant hot water, all kitchen things that we could think of, good removable shower head and water pressure, GREAT view, comfortable sitting for 7 in living room, new beds, more than enough blankets-they are everywhere (in living room coffee table, in dresser draws, in closets). a block from Moe's, a great little bar on Hwy 101 just around the corner, Cinema just up 101 about 3/4 mi, (we saw Beauty & the Beast). Didn't find anything we didn't like.

This unit is so comfortable for me, my husband and my shitzu puppy. There three of us were all satisfied to what we paid. Super clean condo, everything that we need are there waiting for us, kitchen appliances, utensils, etc., bedrooms are really neat and clean, bathroom is super clean and smells good. and the best of all, the unit is just infront of the Siletz bay. I can say I want to stay in this unit again if we come back to Oregon Coast... I can recommend this to all of my friends. THE BEST!!!... I LOVE IT...

This condo was very comfortable. It has a full kitchen stocked with dishes, silverware and cooking equipment. It also has a dishwasher. The views were amazing and the condo is in close proximity to the beach, dining and shopping. They only downside was that there wasn't actually WiFi for my unit however I was able to connect to 6 other servers. Also, being on the 3rd floor, it got pretty warm after awhile but that was easily remedied by opening the front door and the sliding door at opposite ends of the condo for a few mins and running the fan. The bed is a firm mattress which I loved since I have back issues. I woke up well rested every morning.

The unit and location were ok. The layout of the condo is odd. The deck was great and was a pleasant place to spend time watching the inlet and sunsets. The bedroom is on the 101 side of the property and has one window that looks at the opposite unit and people walk right by all the time. The unit has poor ventilation (no A/C) and got super stuffy unless you kept the window, front door and deck door open. The timer for the fireplace ticks very loudly like a kitchen timer. The bed was uncomfortable.

Best vacation rental ever!!! Three generations of family and plenty of room for everyone. Exquisitely decorated, clean, and extremely well equipped. So much to do here. The beach is just a couple of minutes walk away and not crowded at all. Besides the beach this rental has a private lake and all the water toys you need to enjoy it. Our grandson caught lots of fish every day, the rest of the family enjoyed the paddle boat and kayak’s. If it happens to rain you’re in luck because there’s plenty of toys for the kids to play with, not to mention the bonus room over the garage with a Wii game system. We will be back!

This was the perfect setting for what we wanting - an unobstructed view of the ocean, with the sights and sounds of the ocean all day long. Bruce and Barbara were so sweet and greeted us with Valentine's candy and a birthday gift for me the next day. They gave us all the privacy we wanted, but also visited with us as well which we GREATLY ENJOYED. The home is very cozy and we loved the two propane fireplaces. It was also very nice to have the washer and dryer right there on the main floor. The upstairs "open area" was great for watching the waves crashing and the beautiful sunsets. We enjoyed watching the ocean while we played cards with our friends. This was the perfect place and the perfect week! We will be going back next year. We hated leaving!!

We just got back from our second stay at this house. I always hate leaving here. You simply cannot beat the view and atmosphere at this house. The sunsets are incredible, the every single day whale sightings from the deck or upstairs windows are unreal. If you are looking for an over the top luxury property this is not for you. If you are looking for an incredible location with a cozy feel, you will love this property. You can't beat sitting in a cozy chair in the morning drinking coffee while watching whales feed near the house. Can't wait to go back again.

It was very hard to find an accessible condo/house for 4 that did not have any stairs. This place has an elevator up to the condo. It was beautiful and spotless. The older couple enjoyed just sitting and watching the boats, animals and birds. The property managers were kind and helpful

What a great weekend! The house was clean and recently remodeled. We had stayed here before and the house has been very nicely updated. It is cozy, quiet, and relaxing with a charming wood stove. Having an attached garage is a bonus. The beach is close and there is a bench at the end of Stevens Street that overlooks the ocean. We will most definitely be going back!

It truly was a stress-free sisters and I drove through a crazy snowstorm to get there. When we arrived, the owner had brought in extra heaters to make sure we stayed warm. We were not expecting snow and thought maybe our trip was ruined. Thank goodness that was not the case. You can see the ocean from the house and walk to the beach. Behind the house had beautiful views as well. The hang out room/living room was quite large. Everywhere we wanted to visit was close by...canyon beach, Tillamook Factory, Oregon Film Museum, Peter Iredale shipwreck, the seaside museum, and the seaside promenade. Everywhere we visited had great customer service as well. People in Oregon just seem to be naturally happy. My sisters and I definitely want to go again this summer.

We have stayed at this condo several times over the past 10 years. It has such a great view and is so close to the beach. This year we were there during the King Tides which were huge and impressive. It disheartened us that the beach dune has eroded significantly. There was evidence of the tide actually washing over the dune into the parking lot. It appears that this erosion will have continuing effects. It is sad to think that one day the GetAway will be impacted by climate change . The unit we us3 was clean and well equipped for cooking. It does seem there is a feel of neglect that is difficult to pin down. The management staff was very helpful and responsive.

Driftwood was an ideal place for a winter week on the Coast. From the very first evening the place was warm and inviting. We had to figure out how to work some things, and once we did it was perfect.

One of our favorite houses at the coast. Serendipity is the perfect house for a couple. There is only 1 bedroom but there is a futon in the living room which is not comfortable. We brought our senior dog and were perfectly comfortable and entertained at Serendipity. We had a couple of drizzly days but you can just sit in the living room or out on the deck and have an unmatched view. There is no beach access. The house is at the top of a cliff where the waves crash against. The gas woodstove heats up the whole house. The kitchen only has a half fridge and just the electric cooktop for cooking (no stove) but we didn't cook while there. There is a 2 person hot tub on the deck which we used and was very much appreciated. The only things we would change is to expand the shower enclosure and make sure all the outside lights were working. The driveway could use a little repair also but after all that we will still be back.

Lovely home overlooking Beverly Beach. Amazing Views! Plenty of room for 7 of us plus our two English Bulldogs. Did have the share the bathroom next to the master suite with the 2 guys but everyone was chill about this. Also have to organize your showers due to some plumbing issues. Kitchen was nicely stocked and we made lovely seafood dinners every night. Played games at the table, did yoga in the living room and even was able to set up my bike trainer in the game room. Very comfortable beds and linens.

We really enjoyed our stay. It was just where we wanted to be in Depoe Bay. We would have liked a few more mugs for coffee so we didn't have to wash them every day, but we had everything else we needed. Comfortable and easy access for my husband who is disabled.

This house made for a wonderful visit to the beach. The house was perfect: spacious, clean, comfortable, and with everything we needed. It's a short drive to various entryways to the beach, otherwise it was really enjoyable just sitting on one of the decks and enjoying the amazing view of the ocean and trees. Also, the club access directly across the road (gym, pool, mini golf) is an added bonus. Lastly, I just wanted to mention that the staff at Open Nest was terrific to work with. Can't wait to return!

Our group of 8 ladies spent the weekend and had a great time. We even had a Tsunami warning. The weather was great, The beds were comfortable, and there was a good amount of space to spread out. Walking distance to downtown for the more energetic of the group. We had no need to contact property management while we were there. When I did contact them for questions they were quick to answer and very polite and professional. We need a place for our once a year getaway that has no stairs. Surfers Cove is perfect. We'll be back!

The location of the house was perfect, centrally located between the casino and Surf Tides condominiums. Open floor plan with Living room, dining room, kitchen and 1 bathroom on main floor with bedrooms upstairs. Perfect ocean views. The lowest area is assessable from the beachside and has ping pong table, chairs and storage for outside items. Home is perfect for 3 couples. Had a problem with the hot water, but that was quickly resolved by the owner with a smartphone app.��. The house was very clean and comfortable; there was plenty of kitchen gadgets; little soaps, shampoos and towels. Direct easy access to the beach for exploring. A great place to stay ❤️

A nice little house for a big family. It was nothing fancy but it was cozy and comfortable. The game room and pool room kept all the kids occupied. Amazing ocean views, great access to the beach. Kitchen is a little under supplied. Although it rained 95% of the time we were there it was wonderful to be able to enjoy the hot tub and look out over the ocean. Beds were comfortable. The heat throughout the house was inconsistent and hard to maintain at a comfortable level. We did have to BBQ outside in the dark because we could not find how to turn on the light above the BBQ. Many light switches in the house, not sure what they all do! Our biggest annoyance was the sectional couch doesn't stay together and if laying on couch we would often fall between the sections if someone moved. Overall it was a great stay but not sure it was worth the cost.

Very clean, roomy place to stay. Had an issue getting the key out of the lock box(a guest key wasn't available in the box), but was remedied by the company. Some of the hardware was missing off of drawers, etc. Overall, a great place to stay!

This was one of the best homes we have rented for family vacations. It had everything we needed and so much room space. The view is incredible. Although the beach access isn't for any age group. It is hard to find and very steep with no trail or railing. Other than that, i highly recommend this place.

We had a great time staying at this house. The beds were comfortable, the house wa clean, the kitchen was well equipped. I was not disappointed in the slightest. I do think the cost was pretty high though and much smaller community area for what I would hope the amount would cover. For reference, the house cost $3,000 for 4 nights. We had 7 adults staying with us and we were comfortable but a little squished. For the cost, I would expect a much larger house.

The views from this home and the short walk to the beach make this a great rental. The layout of the open kitchen, family room concept is spacious and roomy. The bedrooms and bathrooms are roomy and more than adequate for a large group. Our only complaints/recommendations for improvement would be the mattresses being very uncomfortable. My guess is these are very old mattresses based on the master bedroom mattress having a big hump in the middle indicating it needs to be flipped but most likely replaced. 3 of the 4 bedroom guests complained about how horrible the mattresses were. Our only other recommendation would be adding or improving some of the kitchen amenities. The electric pan had broken legs and most of the non stick was worn to the metal (time to replace these cost $20 new), a decent knife for cutting vegetables would be nice, most of the major appliances had been replaced with very nice Frigidaire appliances but stopped short of replacing the stove to match leaving a poor operating stove. Overall the windows and the close proximity to the beach and grocery stores make this a rental I would revisit. I would recommend bringing some kitchen amenities of your own (decent knives, hot pan) and maybe a pad for the beds, unless they indicate they have been recently replaced after this add. I know seems silly that you should have to provide these things in a rental but the location and views make this a home I would return to and suck up the couple of minor creature comforts for everything else you get. Hopefully they actually read and respond to concerns expressed and this will be a non issue in the future. Overall we had a great time in this home and have some great family memories we took with us.

Awesome location with a personal grand view of the ocean, sits on top of a hill on a private street. Open floor plan with a view of the ocean no matter where you are in the house. I LOVED staying here! It was super convenient to all the little restaurants and to the beach. Stimulus coffee has the best pastries and great coffee! The place was super clean and set up very nicely. There was so much space in the studio and I loved the little patio off the bedroom. The beach was an easy walk from the secret trail or down the road. Both offer amazing views at sunset! The only negative might be the extremely steep driveway and lack of space to turn around, but it's kind of to be expected in that area. Small inconvenience for a beautiful home with so much to offer. Pacific City is one of my favorite spots on the Oregon coast and I can't wait to come back.

The views are beautiful and the condo is in a great location. It was very clean and the master bath area is wonderful. A few things would have made the experience a bit better...the furniture was lacking; the master bed and pillows were quite uncomfortable, as was the couch. A more comfortable seating area (another recliner or chair so more than one person could sit near the window) or a more comfortable couch would have been nice. The pilot light on the fireplace was constantly blowing out. There was no Kleenex, just TP for noses. Perhaps provide a laundry basket. Overall, a nice place.

The house was charming, very well equipped with everything you need, and overall delightful. It would be perfect for a couple alone or with small children. However the twin beds were frankly the worst I’ve ever tried to sleep on and I ended up sleeping on the couch. If they replaced the twin beds the house would be perfect.

Very quaint & warm welcome feel to this home. Had all the amenities we needed in order for our Christmas vacay to enjoy! My bed was very comfy, however my son in-law said his bed wasn't too comfy. Loved the view we had. The hot tub was most excellent for winter time & just relaxing, which is what this house's moto was..."Relax". Plenty of board games for the kids to play. Fireplace kept us warm. Perfect for what we were looking for in a vacation home!! Definitely worth the money!! Thank you ☺️

What an amazing view to wake up to in the morning. This beautiful oasis by the sea is exactly what we needed for our few days of relaxation. The jacuzzi on the back deck is a total plus. We really enjoyed our stay here.

Have stayed here several times. Great location and easy access to long walks on the beach. The last two times I stayed here have noticed large window leaked and a patio door does not work. Not fixed. Otherwise a quiet place to enjoy the view of ocean. Close to Waldport and Yachats.

What a delightful stay! This place is filled with love and is decorated so cute! Loved reading the story of the place on the fridge! The kids loved the loft area and the beds were comfy. Just a walk across the road and we were on the beach!

Absolutely fabulous eclectic beach cottage ON the water. SUPER view. Close beach access. Garage parking. Fenced yard, dogs allowed. Right in the heart of delightful Nye Beach. Perfect enclosed front porch to dry feet and remove shoes etc. To know: main floor double bed is VERY firm. Stairs to second floor are STEEP & narrow. Exterior is weathered and rustic in the extreme. Yard fencing acceptable for "quiet" dogs. More energetic dogs should be supervised. Interior is updated, but be prepared for pull chain lights and other eccentric whimsy. Wifi is good, TV channels good. Overall an unbeatable location.

We loved our stay at Sheltering Pines in Depoe Bay. The beach access was one of the best parts...the beach was so close and easy to get to from our own backyard. The hot tub was another highlight. King beds in three bedrooms! Games in the cupboards. Well equipped kitchen. We had a good time.

We had a wonderful stay in Sand Dollar Cottage. The cottage was immaculate and well stocked. Check-in instructions were clear and easy to follow. Very nice, quiet neighborhood close to the beach and downtown. Highly recommended!

Lots of little issues mostly about the amenities description listed on VRBO, otherwise comfy place! The main reason for renting this unit was because it listed a fireplace. I messaged the contact (property management company) to see if I needed to bring firewood or would it be supplied. After no return contact, I called the office and was told no need to bring, everything needed would be there. When we walked in, there was a sign on the wall "Please do not us fireplace". Why list it if you can't use it especially during a winter storm!! Also no TV in 2nd bedroom as listed, basically the listing needs lots of updates, otherwise nice place.

Very pleased with this rental. The home is well kept, inviting, and accessible. One of our party lives with mobility challenges and this home had the layout and other thoughtful touches that made a big difference.

This was our second stay at Pacific Sands Resort. Walking into the unit, feels like you are almost in the surf itself. Wonderful location, unit clean and kitchen well stocked. In the winter, few people on the beach but us, the gulls, Great Blue herons (!) and sand pipers. It is an ideal place for R & R. Can definitely recommend #21, and we shall return.

Someone came out right away to bring a gas can to us. There were some tiny bugs and management sent some spray for those. It is a great family rental. Lots of books to read and games to play. Beach is close but rocky walking g down to it

Everything was fine except the king bed was too soft for me and a motor of some type would start up at night waking us an d then stop after 10-15 minutes all night long. Also the lock box was fine because my daughters were with me but I don’t think I could operate it because it too small to see the numbers

Super location. Older home needs a little TLC. Turntable on microwavw doesn't work. Heater under front window puts out very little heat, had to get property management get a portable heater brought in because it got very cold. One circuit breaker tripped several times. No heaters in the bedrooms. The locationis so great that a little fixup would make this a fantastic place to stay.

A perfectly situated condo to experience the rhythms of the ocean. Excellent beach walking without the crowds. The condo was well furnished, very comfortable and cosy, maximized the incredible view.

The condo was well supplied and comfortable. There is a definite trip hazard wwith the buckled floor rug under the dining table. Since I had my elderly mom with me, I was always on high alert so she didn’t trip when moving around the table. The slow response time to fix a constant running toilet was very disappointing and required a second call to get it resolved.

The rental was as advertised with an amazing view of the ocean. The waves crashed on the rocks below, and made our stay a wonderful, relaxing time. The view was as far as you could see. The condo was very comfortable and clean, and provided all that we needed. We hope to stay again.

The kitchen drawers were dirty with crumbs. Saying it's a 2 bathroom with one in the master bedroom is a little misleading and uncomfortable with more than 2 couples

Despite the bad weather (it hailed and rained all stay) we had a gorgeous view of the ocean and the house was so cozy to sit in and watch the waves. All the amenities we needed were there and it felt like staying in a friend's home. Access to stores and food was easy, we were close to everything. We'll definitely come back in the summer and enjoy the beach longer.

The house was great but we had a few cleanliness issues and one major set back: the hot tub wasn't working! There were dirty dishes put away, food left in the fridge, trash left in the bedroom trash can, clothes left under the bed and clothes left on the table. We had a small leak in the kitchen and the living room rear door-but I credit those to the storm. It would be a great house for family or friends vacations, but the walk to the beach is scary for young children. We were vacation for my son's birthday. We made the most of it and had a great time spending a few days away from the reality of life. But the hot tub not working was a major set back in my son's birthday weekend getaway.

this is a great spot for two people, on a cliff overlooking the bay (you feel like you can reach out and touch the ocean), adequate amenities, (micro, stove top, no oven), homey/comfortable. It was my second time. FYI The hot tub rapidly loses heat as soon as the top is off, as if the heater can't keep up. Other than that highly reccomended.

- master bedroom is bright and spacious! - master bathroom is great! - the fireplace was lovely! - the view is great! - this is one of the nicer places we have stayed in Newport - convenient parking - lock box was jammed when we arrived but after about 5 minutes, we were able to get in. - 2nd bathroom, tub drain could use some drain-o - 2nd BR doesn't have any windows but is fine - carpet really needs to be replaced - other than the carpeting, the location was ok for cleanliness - side table lamps are extremely bright, I prefer warmer/dimmer light for evening reading
