Beautiful view, beautiful home, great for large groups. Wasn't as clean as I liked, when we pulled up previous guests had filled the garbage can and had piles of garbage all around the can itself. Need a much bigger garbage outside can for a house that sleeps 17. One of the bunk beds was broken and not usable. One or two Kitchen cabinet doors broken and wouldn't stay closed. 30 minutes after our arrival smoke alarm went off call maintenance it stopped before he arrived, couldn't find anything wrong. He did take some of the excess garbage around the can. Hot tub not hot. Beautiful house and views, would stay again, even with the issues I listed.

Killer location, gorgeous views, nice property, just what we were looking for. I gave management company 1 star because they are invisible/non-existent, other than a guy picking up random trash once. In fact, the sign on the office door says something like "do not disturb, this is for unit owners only, go away" Not quite, but you get the idea. Bunk bed hardware (allen screws) was so loose, you could wobble the whole thing back and forth with one finger, the kids didn't want to climb/sleep on it so we just put the mattresses on the floor. Fridge lights don't work, handle on the grill was super loose (I found a screwdriver and just tightened it), the patio door doesn't actually lock solidly and there are about 5-7 broken/loose tiles on the kitchen floor. None of this held us back though! The place is clean and everything works, dishes, silverware and anything you need for cooking is there, kitchen and cook-at/eat-at island is perfect and the view is stellar! Beach is clean, soft sand, beautiful and huge driftwood, people fishing for crab closer to the inlet, every morning we had coffee on the deck and watched the tide go in/out and sea lions, seals and pelicans right out front! Every night we walked the beach out around the inlet to see the awesome waves, it was all just so cool. Walking distance to Mo's (awesome seafood joint on the beach) and many other places. This is where you want to stay.

We loved the location and overall the condo was great. However it needs to be cleaned a little better. The floors need to be cleaned - bottom of feet were black after walking around the condo barefoot. There was a used bar of soap in the shower which makes me question how well the bathroom was cleaned. Someone’s empty birth control packet was in a dresser drawer in the room with the two beds. The closet door in that room also doesn’t open/close properly.

We enjoyed this cottage mostly because of its location, ample natural light, privacy and off street parking. We appreciate when hosts get the cleaning done well as they did prior to our stay. We would have liked a way to have the dogs on the patio with us without being leashed, but this was yard and patio has no enclosure or completa fencing. We enjoyed walking the dogs along the beach and promenade.

The property itself was wonderful & we had a great time. Having said that, the fact that this place has a spendy cleaning fee and it is a pretty expensive rental property I was not happy with the fact that the property was dirty. You could tell that it hadn’t been swept, vacuumed and that the counters & kitchen table had not been wiped down. Upon arrival my husband and I started cleaning. We vacuumed the couches, swept the floors and wiped down counters and kitchen table. Plus the main garbage can was full. We had to leave garbage on the kitchen counter since we had no place to put it.

This house was absolutely perfect for a family vacation. The location is even better than described, and it was peaceful and beautiful. The house is gorgeous, clearly just renovated and very clean, and worked very well for our family. The kitchen has everything you need, the beds were very comfortable, the WiFi worked with no problem and TVs were all smart TVs, there was an outdoor shower and the deck had a grill and gas fire pit for evenings listening to the waves. Perfect stay, would love to return.

The location of this home cannot be beat. No written property description could do justice to experiencing this home for yourself. The home was clean and in order when we arrived. We booked this home from a Sunday to a Sunday. When we arrived the trash can outside was already half filled with garbage which surprised us as pickup day was advertised as Friday, but when the Friday of our stay came around no pickup was made. By that point we had to stack garbage bags on top and beside the can. We had 10 in our party, and we obviously created a lot of garbage. For the two remaining days of our stay we continued to pile the garbage. When we stayed here 2 years ago I remember having to call to have it picked up. Within a couple of days we were in the hot tub, and it was already dirty. I called to find out how often the hot tub as treated, and I was told after every guest. Those in our part familiar with maintaining a hot tub treat theirs twice a week. Someone was out within 24 hours to clean it for us. Sometime between the third night and the second morning our kitchen faucet stopped working. I called to have someone come out and look at it, and someone did come the next day. We got the water back but just cold water. The gentleman who came out didn't have a part he needed to fix the sink completely and said he'd be back when he got the part. Two days later and no missing part I called again. 12 hours before checkout time we had a new faucet with hot water. So for four days we did not have hot water in the kitchen sink, and we washed our dishes and hands elsewhere (the dishwasher did have hot water).

My wife and I had a marvelous week in Newport at Endeavour House--a quirky and beautiful Victorian house just a couple blocks from the beach. We particularly enjoyed how walkable the Nye beach section of Newport is. We used our rental car one day, and the rest of the time we just walked everywhere, including to lovely restaurants down in Yaquina Bay. It was a spectacular stay and we would love to go back! Probably our favorite experience was kayaking around Yaquina Bay with the Oregon Boating Foundation, which you can walk to from the house; it's less than 2 miles away.

The home worked out well for us. It had everything we needed. It was close to the beach and the other towns we wanted to visit. We enjoyed the relaxing hot tub at the end of each day. We had hoped to use the kayaks but there were no paddles available. That would have been a bonus as we weren't expecting them anyway. The upstairs toilet was beginning to leak and needs some attention.

It was good. It was a nice place to stay. The place was clean and we had a great time celebrating our 30th anniversary. We would stay there again. The farmers market was great and nice to have within walking distance.

We had a wonderfully restful time in this secluded home. We got the BBQ working by buying a filled propane tank and loved every minute. Star-filled nights on the upstairs balcony! Great beach just a minute away. Perhaps a comfortable set of patio chairs would be great for the wonderfully spacious deck! We want to be back....

The house worked for us. It was a last minute booking, so we didn’t have many options. The access to the beach is a little challenging. With the cool and cloudy weather, the game room in the garage was a plus. The view is great and the house was contemporary and comfortable. The cookware needed cleaning.

The house was great - clean, comfortable, easy to figure out. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking, though a little small for more than 1 person to cook. The customer service was *excellent* - attentive, helpful, and friendly.

This was our 7th year staying in Depoe Bay. It is a great place to relax and have a little fun. My only criticism this year was some of the deck chairs were broken and the pantry door needed repair. But this is the first time we have had issues like this and it did not dampen our stay.

We have rented this property six times. Always enjoy our visit, but the house is showing signs of age, and needs repairs. Kitchen supplies are becoming depleted. The beside light in the master is still broken from last year, knobs missing on cupboards, lights out, etc.

Need to update furniture. Looks better in pictures. Driveway, was a little hard to navigate. Didn't leave enough paper towels, toilet paper or garbage bags. That might of been enough for one or two day stay, but we stayed longer. The process to make the reservation was really easy.

The house was neat and clean. VERY dated, needs a bit of update, maybe some interior paint and fixtures. But overall great location, great view, and it was clean and neat. I would like to advise the staff that we had to purchase TP as there was not enough, as well as coffee filters. Minor, but important.

Our group of 5 had a great time! The house was the perfect size and the indoor and roof terrace views of the ocean were terrific. The location was great because the little beach access area wasn't very crowded.

This location and house is a great getaway. There were plenty of towels, dishes, pillows, blankets. lots of space for the 4 of us. We had an issue with the toilet in the small bathroom as it was running overtime. The facility team came out right away to fix it. Because of the other reviews commenting on the lack of a barrier by the cliff edge, the property manager installed some ugly "caution signs"- hopefully that's just a short term fix and something else will be put up instead. It should be noted - the cliff edge isn't that scary. We would definitely stay here again.

check in was flawless and unit great. Only drawback is that there was no access to the washer and dryer and that does not work for those like us who were there for a week. there were cleaning pods for laundry and a not to go elsewhere to wash your clothes which took us two plus hours away from our vacation for no reason. Probably not use this unit again because of this as we travel light. Also there are birds nesting on the balcony and 2/3 of the area there is unusable there due to bird poop. Enjoyed the birds but not the limited space there and the health hazard that the bird poop exposes guests to. Other than this the unit was good.

We loved this home. Great combo of old and new in the home. Comfortable and cozy. Great set up for families, with downstairs master, and even a TV/hangout room on the upper floor. Beach access just a few housese down the road.

This is a nice rental with plenty of space with 4 bedrooms. It was well equipped. As a pet friendly home we found proof that pets were there with pet hair etc. Which told us the cleaners could have been a little more thorough but it didn't deter us from a great family Vaca. Also if you're planning on having your meals at the house Would recommend bringing leftover storage such as baggies, foil etc. And an extra garbage bag. Again the house was great, these are just hopefully helpful comments.

My only criticism is that the gas grill could really stand to be replaced (especially given that the grill is listed as a perk in the property description) and providing an extra cylinder of propane for the grill would be nice. We intended to grill a bunch while there, but didn't because the grill was in rough shape and there wasn't much propane left in the tank.

This condo is in a great location, especially if you are looking to spot some whales. Looking right out the window, we spotted whales every day of our stay. I will say that the condo could have used a more thorough clean (there was long black hair everywhere and a ponytail under the couch cushion) and it would have been nice to have sheets for the hide-a-bed, but we made do. I also ran into an issue when we first walked in. There was a note left by someone to leave “this key and device” in the garage. However, there was no key. I made sure to call and explain that there was no key just to keep myself covered. The handle in the upstairs bathroom seemed like it was just about done for. There were also push pins that I found (because I stepped on one) on the floor. Would recommend solely for the view.

This place was absolutely perfect. The view of sunsets from the deck were incredible and something we will never forget. It was even better to be able to enjoy them from the hot tub. We had more than enough room to have fun together in the main living room but also had the option to spread out and relax in our own bedrooms and separate bathrooms. The location was directly across from the club house where we were able to enjoy an indoor pool and miniature golf (after an orientation with a clubhouse guide) I appreciate that we were also able to park our cars in the garage at night. I will be highly recommending this home to everyone I know! It was spectacular!

We are glad we chose Riverfront Dream for our family vacation this year. There were 13 of us, six adults and six children and Cosmo a Labradoodle. The kids bedroom is genius with two trundles and one twin bed joined with another queen bedroom by a large Jack and Jill bathroom. Our ten year old grandson lavished having his own room. There was lots of room for kids clothes and dressing in the walk in closet as well as some toys to keep the kids busy in the mornings. We adults had great bedrooms with our own bathrooms in the room or close by. The large and well stocked kitchen, dining area and sitting room had a lovely view of the river, and a large wrap around deck to sit on and drink our coffee in the morning sun. In the comfortable living room we played games and one night watched a streaming of Hamilton. Downstairs in the garage are pool, Foosball and ping-pong, as well as paddle boards and beach toys. We used all of the above. We drove the few minutes to the beach with our chairs and towels, played in the surf and hiked Sand Mountain a number of times. This is a great location to visit other sites North or South on the Coast.

A really nice little house in a mostly quiet neighborhood with the comforts of home. The location was ideal for access to the beach, HWY 101, and other activities. We loved the fact our little dog was able to come along and stay! One of the only issues was an extremely hard mattress in what looked to be the master bedroom which caused the bed to creek almost every time someone would move. Other than that, great experience and would look to rent the place again next year!

Would have brought my own portable Weber had I had known. Overall the house is nice. I think it I could use some updating in the bathrooms for the price you pay. The parking is sketchy.

Sadly, the bunk bed was our biggest draw to this particular unit and it was not at all as advertised in the photos. It was not the sturdy wood bunks shown, it was not sturdy enough for either of my girls to be on the top bunk. Lots of little maintenance needs added up over the time we were there...toilet ran nonstop (fixed within hours of reporting it!), floor tiles cracked, screen door split wide open, random light bulbs in unit burnt out upon arrival (bathroom/sink, fridge intermittently), freezer door handle kept falling off, kitchen not well stocked. Felt like the condo was forgotten about, with some maintenance and love (and an honest photo of the bunk beds situation...or different, safe, sleeping options for multiple kiddos) this would be a condo we would return to.

The house was perfect for our needs. Quiet, secluded area. Right next to the beach and the waves lulled us to sleep every night. The rooms gave us space and privacy and enough bathrooms for each family. I did read reviews beforehand and so came prepared with extra dish soap, dish towels, laundry detergent and hand soap. Overall it was fairly clean, but not ideal. We lost some toys under the couch and when we moved the couch to retrieve it, uh, all kinds of stuff under there as well as the beds. Bathrooms were clean. The hot tub did not work and the water looked green and scary. We did call the property management and they sent someone that day to fix it, but we never tried to use it. And if we did numerous loads of laundry, water leaked underneath the front of the washer. We alerted management of that at the same time so they will hopefully do some cleaning and maintenance of the washer seal. Having two refrigerators was wonderful. The location of the house allowed us to venture out in numerous directions to see more of the gorgeous Oregon coast. Overall, we left feeling relaxed and rejuvenated and would go there again in a heartbeat.

We had a wonderful 3 nights. The house was perfect for us to enjoy our family time together. We noticed the need for a handrail at the front entrance. I had to have someone to help me up the steps. (I prefer to be independent!) I did not go up to the second floor,but the others wished for better carpet. They told me that it was badly worn and stained. However, they appreciated the cleanliness of everything. I have reserved it for the same time next year, so you can assume that we loved it!

The home was great. Nice roomy space for all of us to spread out. Beds were nice. Nice decor. Home owners set it up nicely. Cleaning was the issue. Floors had not been cleaned. Dust/fur bunnies everywhere. Found a child toy car under the bottom sheet of master bed! (No small children in our group) Towels and toiletries still in bag. Felt like they just ran out of time. All in all a nice home and a great vacation.

Perfectly situated for access to the wide beach at Rockaway. We enjoyed surf-boarding, sand castles, long walks and even catch-and-release of some beautiful perch. Awesome sunsets were a bonus. Only the afternoon winds are a challenge! Very accommodating for a family of eight. PS Please provide adequate supply of detergent, kitchen and laundry.

Home is pretty well equiped with some of the basic amenities you would expect, but wish it had a few extra things. Cooking pans are very well used and need to be tossed out in my opinion. We purchased a new frying pan at the local store and left it there for future guests. The stove and oven although is very antique and neat looking is not the best to cook with. One last thing to be aware of is the stairs. Stairs to get into the house and the kitchen and living room are upstairs. Not a huge problem but if someone has troubles navigating stairs it would be nice to know.

We loved that this had a spectacular view of the beach and the location made it ideal for going North or South on the coast. We found the overall condition of the house clean and orderly. Here is the "but" part, though. . .We had to go and buy an air mattress because there were only enough beds for 6 when it was advertized for 8. If any of the couches made into beds we would have been satisfied. The septic situation was also a problem and we all took way less showers to conserve. That being said, we enjoyed our short stay and will plan another trip for the Coast.

The place was very nice and loved every minute there. The balcony view was great and the temperature was naturally great. All appliances work and extras were given to make the stay more comfortable. There were 4 issues that did bother other while staying here. 1. The beds are very uncomfortable. I am not a person with a back problem but the bed (master bedroom) made my back hurt every morning I woke up. My friend said his bothered him too. 2. The listing I read mentioned wifi but we found no information in the email or in the house about it. Cell phone reception is spotty so if you plan on doing anything that requires internet, this is not the place for you. 3. The garage had tons of trash from the previous vacationers and it made the garage reek. It didn't affect the house but if wanted to wash some clothes, it made it unpleasant. The upstairs hallway bathroom does not close. We invested in a doorstop so we could enjoy privacy. All in all, I loved my stay but I wanted others to be aware of some of the issues. The place is very clean (aside from the garage) and set up nicely to enjoy your stay. Thanks so much.

My husband and I stayed at the Islander with our daughter, her husband, and 4 children. The house looked even better in person than in pictures. It was very clean and we were very comfortable during all our stay The decor was cheerful It was fun to walk to the beach. Within walking distance there were some restaurants, coffeeshop, and grocery store. We truly found a home away from home.

Property was perfect for our 5 person family- plenty of room, comfortable pull out bed, loved all the puzzles and games and the washer/dryer really came in handy. Also appreciated having secure parking. Only suggestions would be to 1)get rid of the shag carpet— had numerous stains and felt old and crunchy in bare feet; and 2)needs a more complete set of dishes and cooking utensils/supplies to prepare large meals.

Overall this is a great house for a medium to larger group. We did enjoy our stay. The house easily slept 3 couples and 4 more using the trundle beds. The house was fairly clean and in good shape. Highlights were that is a 5-minute walk to beach access, and we were able to go tide pooling one morning. Kitchen is well equipped though very unorganized, way too many cooking utensils so hard to find cooking implements. We enjoyed the games and puzzles. I was surprised to find a drip coffeemaker as it is not mentioned in the description, and I had asked about this as was told there is not one. There were filters for this coffeemaker. I had called for an early check in for our arrival day and got that but did not know I needed a different code. Called and got immediate help. We were disappointed that the wine fridge did not appear to work, the propane talk was empty for the grill, and we only had 4 kitchen towels for a group of 10 that was cooking all our meals. A Dishrack would have been a big help. Bring your own paper towels and napkins as there was only one roll. There was also only a small amount of dish soap, so we had to buy more. The house could use the cobwebs cleared out and many cabinets painted due to wear in both the bathrooms and kitchen. The kitchen utensils could use cleaned out as there were too many.

Property was just as advertised. The layout is perfect for a small family like ours, including our small dog. The only complaint is that the rug in the family room/main entry was a little smelly. However this is somewhat understandable and only a minor inconvenience with pets being allowed. Otherwise we had a great stay and would stay here again. Thanks!

Beyond the general positive review elements below, we 1.Caution older guests to consider that the bedroom is upstairs & the bathroom is downstairs and 2.The slanted ceiling upstairs is not for tall people. We highlight 3 items that could be changed to improve a visit: 1.Upper section of west window upstairs needs a light blocking feature at night to block 3 bright overnight lights from next door motel. 2. Bathroom hinges need oil. 3. Parking in & out is really for a small car only.

This house was perfect for our family of 7 vacation. Beds were very comfortable, kitchen stalked with the basics and the view was spectacular. A few things that will make any stay better: 1. bring garbage bags: they do supply some but with 7 people garbage fills up and the bags provided are thin and tear easily. Luckily we had some large yard bags with us 2. The walk to the beach is not easy but if you can find the next entrance to the beach (which we found by accident) it will be easier to get down to the beautiful Oregon beach. 3. There was not enough forks to have multiple meals. We brought plastic which helped. 4. If you plan to hang any clothing bring hangars. There are a few but not enough for 7 to share. 5. Master bedroom on top floor has a skylight that is right above the bed. If you don’t mind waking up at sunrise this room is perfect. 6. BBQ is briquettes which we love, however, the bbq is on the level below the kitchen/dining area and no stairs from the upper deck. 7. DVD/vhs is available but the selection of videos was not much to be desired. 8. Bring chairs if you want to sit outside. Although the things above are things that we noticed to be missing, the OM house was beautiful and rests on a cliff that offers a beautiful view of the Pacific Ocean. The elevator was a Godsent for unloading and for anyone who couldn’t do the stairs.

The arrival was fine. We did find a pot of uncooked chicken & other food stuff in the small fridge. Only 2 burners worked on the stove. The garbage cans did not have bungee cords & was full on arrival. Fortunately we didn’t generate much! Otherwise it was a nice stay with some old friends.

This was my first time renting a vacation home so I don’t have anything to compare it to other than a hotel so I will go easy on it. Overall my husband and I enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to rent it again. That being said, we agree that for how much we paid for our 3 nights (almost $3,000) we would only go back during the off-season when it’s cheaper because we didn’t feel like we got what we paid for, especially when it came to the cleaning fee ($120). I know they have a policy where if you notify them before 4:30pm they will come out and make it right but we didn’t get to the house until after 5 and were tired from driving and wouldn’t want to wait for it to be cleaned. And also I know we could have notified them before noon the next day as well for potentially some money back but we honestly didn’t know the true condition until after noon since we hadn’t really explored the house fully until the next day and we had slept in past noon. When we awoke and tried to make coffee we saw that there was still coffee in the pot and grounds in the pot. A lot of the dishes had also been put away dirty. It didn’t appear that anything had been swept a But nothing was terrible enough to not stay again, just for the money, it will be worth it when it’s cheaper. The other reviews are correct the photos should be updated as the view is much different now that the other house had been built. But, the view is still pretty great! There’s no beach access though but that was fine bc when we were there the weather was not really conducive for a beach walk. We didn’t come with the kids this time so can’t really speak much about the basement level of the house where all the games are located but the basement definitely smelled like a musty basement and the stairs were super steep so we didn’t spend any time down there. WE absolutely loved the house, location, and amenities. It was clean, well appointed, and well stocked with everything we could have wanted. We had several kids, a handful of older folks, and people in between visit and stay the night, and all remarked how great the house and location were. The house was located so conveniently to some of our favorite activities--the Cedar Preserve Hike, beautiful white sand beach just outside your back door, the Tillamook factory, blueberry picking, kayaking in the bays, exploring tide pools and rock formations, and others. And to come home to relax, cook dinner, and watch a movie was the perfect way to unwind. This will be our go-to house for any Oregon Coast trips in the future!

This wonderful home has amazing views...the view of the ocean can be seen from the deck, the living area, lower level & lower deck. You can open the patio doors to feel the cool breeze & hear the sound of the ocean waves as you enjoy the view! The house is well equipped and has everything needed to enjoy your stay. The location is also great. Tillamook was only a short drive to the south. We also drove north along the Pacific highway to Astoria for a day trip. We will definitely return to this house in the future!!

We enjoyed our stay in 208! Check in and out couldn’t have been easier and the staff was very professional and helpful. The price was really great compared to others we looked at along the coast. In fact, it was even cheaper than many hotels and WAY better! It was quiet, clean, and relaxing. The beds were comfortable and we loved waking up and enjoying coffee on the balcony. The washer and dryer came in very handy. The kitchen was well stocked with the basics, but like I’ve read in other reviews, the can opener doesn’t work so bring one if you need one. Also, the pull out sofa bed is broken. We didn’t use it, but good to know if you are planning to. There was an air mattress in the closet, but we didn’t use that either. Being on the bay was great with kids. They could safely play and we didn’t have to worry about big waves. Overall, our stay was perfect! It really felt like our home away from home.

First time on the coast, went to see family. Stumbled upon Oregon Beach Vacations when looking for a house. They helped pick this one. could not be happier with them and the house. all went great. Most of the houses ,because of the coast are a little worn on the outside, but the inside and views of this house were exceptional. It was well stocked with things, cooking, blankets, games, movies etc. Great access to Roads End State Park. The Chinhook Casino down the road. That was alot of fun. Previous reviews say no air, but it does, but the weather is so cool up there you could probably go with out. The pictures are very accurate. Will probably rent again. Lincoln City is a little bigger then the other towns along the coast, so a few more choices of places to eat. We spent our time exploring the rest of the coast.

We had a wonderful stay at the Duffy House. 7 of us stayed there including 2 young children. The house has been beautifully updated and we found everything we needed for a fun family vacation. The location was a quick walk to everything and we could hear the ocean with our windows open at night. We will definitely be booking at the Duffy House the next time we come to Seaside! The only negative feedback I have is that the smallest bedroom could use a power strip or another outlet. We ended up purchasing one ourselves because there is only one outlet in there and with two of us, that wasn’t enough for all our electronics. The mattress in that room was also fairly uncomfortable for two people to sleep on. However, we managed and still had a wonderful time. I highly recommend the Duffy House if you’re looking for a family-friendly rental close to the beach!

My family and I had a great stay at this property. It had everything you could think of. One call out is the grill is charcoal bbq so plan accordingly. A big plus of this property is the fenced yard. When you travel with pets this is important :). Overall we were pleased with our stay. We will stay here again.

We were pleased with it the house and the beds and pillows were comfy. The balcony railing felt a little wonky so we never stayed out there. And one of the chairs on the dining room table almost broke because the screw was out of it. They just need updated pictures of the unit because the pictures are older the dining room floor is all scratched up which didn’t affect our stay, but it obviously showed that the pictures were old.

Our first trip to Cannon Beach. Reading the reviews, I was a bit concerned about the living room space but there was plenty of seating. The bedrooms were very spacious. Kitchen was cramped but I was the only cook so that wasn’t an issue. I loved how close we were from the grocery store. We were able to walk a short distance daily to purchase our daily meals to cook back the house. I over packed concerned that there wouldn’t have amenities but that wasn’t the case. Would stay again at this place! Only issue was not being able to communicate at all online prior to our stay. If you want to talk to a property manager, you need to call them.

This property was as advertised by previous reviewers: Serene, stunning view, but janky layout and not clean. My wife and I stayed here for 11 nights and got along fine. The kitchen is small, but serviceable. The view and outdoor spaces are tremendous. But the window frames and the floors were filthy. Here’s some advice: People staying on the ocean are going to open the windows, so clean the window tracks. Also, the size was fine for a couple, and maybe a small family, but would not recommend for two couples.

We absolutely loved our stay! It was very close to the beach, maybe a 5 minute walk to the beach. Beach chairs, large wind breaker, pull wagon and campfire sticks were available in the supplies closet for us to use-super convenient. The master bedrooms were very spacious and each had their own full bathroom. Grocery store was a block away. Moe’s was across the street. The condos were very quiet. The balconies were nice, not facing the wind. Only weird thing there was a very small dining room table, that we ended up using as more counter space and we all just ate in random places throughout the house. But, overall it was thoroughly enjoyable and we had a great time.

The house is interesting! I was wondering why it was called Lighthouse, completely understand now! It was cute though, the house was a little quirky on the back, but the extra space and bathroom was a plus! Like others said, the furniture could be updated, it has had a long life! And the beds...Another review said concrete slab, I think more like plywood. The house needs a deep clean, OBV does a wonderful job as always turning between guests, but walls and entry need a really good cleaning soon. All in all I liked this place, we spend much of our day out and it was nice to come back and cook dinner, shower, and do laundry of all things!

The house was amazing with great seating inside and out. It was a wonderful location with easy access to the beach and the estuary. They have done a very nice job with the deck and wind breaks that allow for enjoyable outdoor time. There is a large table in the eating area that was perfect for cards and games in the evening. Our only reservation, was the 3 bedrooms. For your family the configuration of all adults, was interesting, but we made it work. It is really 2 bedrooms and a room with a set of small bunk beds. Over all it was a beautiful quiet location and close to everything in the area.

Recommend the Yaquina Lighthouse north of Newport Restaurants can be a challenge if you have particular food allergies and/or lifestyles. I am a gluten-free vegan and that was challenging. Thai Port in Newport was great to accommodate as well as Hilltop Bistro in Waldport.

We've stayed in Seaside several times. This was a nice unit overall and we appreciated the secure parking and grounds. The river view is great and you're close enough to walk to the main drag but far enough out to be peaceful. This is a roomy unit with nice modern appliances and fixtures. The only mild disappointments were that the carpet is really stained and at the end of its life so not very cosmetically appealing. Also the unit was not well cleaned prior to arrival and we found garbage beneath the beds, trash in the wastebaskets, and dishes left in the dishwasher. Also the coffee pot was missing from the coffee maker. None of this was a big deal, and did not detract from the enjoyment of our stay. The condo complex is quiet and the grounds are well maintained.

The Rockaway Beach house was delightful. It was the perfect place for us to stay, great views, plenty of room to play board games in the living room and baseball, nerf tennis in the backyard, as well as lovely walks and runs on the beach. Everyone in our family wants to go back next summer. One small, but easily solved problem-the path to the beach from the house has a drop that I couldn't manage(66 with bad hip), but I just walked down one house and took the public path. The house was clean with new appliances and furniture. We highly recommend this house. Right up the street there is a place to eat fantastic fish and chips: The Old Oregon Smokehouse. And if you want to cook -Fish People Seafood Market-fresh local fish and Dungeness Crab-caught daily!

We had a great stay at this location. Perfect distance from the beach. Cute house. We stayed with 5 adults and 3 kiddos. My only complaints would be that the bed in the third bedroom is not suitable for an adult(child sized bed and not comfortable) and that the house was not cleaned well. The master bathroom sink and shower were dirty and there was a used wine bottle in one of the closets. It did not have a big impact on our stay. We really enjoyed our stay. Comfortable living room. Overall I would recommend. I would only suggest a more thorough cleaning. Just a suggestion, leave coffee samples! That is always nice.

We had a good week at “Seacrest” in Lincoln City. The house is a good size, and management is responsive. The rugs need a good cleaning, and housekeeping needs to vacuum better. This was the second time we have stayed in this home. It is conveniently located. The doors on the master bath go off track if they aren’t placed right, and water pressure in both baths is off. There was a large rug hanging off the print porch rail, that we reported to management but no one came to get it. Overall pretty good, really needs a good deep cleaning.

Very nice home. I like the layout, and there are plenty of rooms but having 11 people in this house would be a challenge. There isn’t enough common area to support that many, and the oversized dining table was hard to navigate. Plus the dishwasher doesn’t work! You have to scrub your plates before you put them in. Our visit to Lincoln City, OR was amazing! We booked the Ocean Rose house at the last minute. The house was so close to the beach that you could hear the waves inside the house. The house was very clean, and the beds were comfortable. There was plenty of parking and you could walk to the beach and shops. The area was quiet, and we felt safe and relaxed. The only things I could think to improve it would be the living room furniture was not very comfortable - but we really didn't spend a lot of time there other than sleeping, the other improvement would be a bathroom on the second floor.

Annual trip to Lincoln City. We try to stay in a different place each time we visit, as our primary purpose is just to relax. This condo was clean, quiet and conveniently located on the bay. We dug for clams, had a beach fire for s’mores and most importantly, RELAXED! Kitchen was fully stocked with plenty of storage room for the groceries we bought for the trip. I would say the mattresses were a little too firm for our liking, but overall, a great experience.

Overall the property was great. Great view, easy access to the beach, perfect size for 2 people. Negatives for us were the close proximity of the balconies to other balconies with no privacy barrier at all. We did not feel like we could go out on the balcony and enjoy it when the neighbor is sitting 2 feet from you. Another negative foe this unit was the internet. So many times it was ridiculously slow to the point of having essentially no internet. It was frustrating at times.

House was much more charming than the pictures. Everything was easily accessible and the guides made it easy. Only slight problems we had were with the TVs not being user friendly (perhaps due to user error). Location was fantastic and we would highly recommend this house!

This house is obviously a huge money maker for the owners, because they are not putting any money back into their property. When we arrived we saw a steep set of stairs. The first set had no visible handrail, when we entered the property the threshold was dangerously high. We hit and tripped on it the whole visit. I had asked that the house be really clean because I have allergies. The house was has clean as it could with a very worn out carpet and furniture, but you could never make the old tired furniture really clean. The house was very unkept, things stuffed in closets. Furniture stuffed in a corner , everything pretty cheap and ugly. Then we went out the back door, and things were worse. The back patio was dirty, the backyard had absolutely no upkeep. The back stairs were falling apart and the back gate to the beach was broken. Needless to say we were dismayed that we spent $423.00 a night for such a rundown house. I phoned the management company and told them how upset we were. When I told him about the safety dangers, he told me the owners wanted to only use their contractor from Portland to do any repairs. He then said he would try and get someone locally. We lived with out a stair for 3 days. The saving grace for spending 4 days in this falling apart house were our friends we haven’t seen in over 3 years. We made the best of it, but all felt totally ripped off. The view was beautiful, except for the huge motor home the neighbors were living in. The top of a RV, really takes away from an ocean view. And the dirty windows with cheap blinds. And we got lucky on beautiful weather, so we didn’t spend a lot of time in the depressing house. I believe it is shameful that this house cost the most we have ever paid, and was the worst we have ever rented. We loved being at the north end of the promenade for a quieter location with ready access to the beach, the shops and Main Street Seaside which was a only 0.8 mile walk. Enjoyed our view of the river from the back patio. Only 2 outdoor chairs on site so glad to have a brought our own. Once the landscaping is done on this new and very clean property will be beautiful. Missed having an outdoor grill on site but otherwise had what we needed. Comfortable beds and lots of linens except beach towels, but again, had some of our own. Carefree check in and out. Will happily return again.

Perfect location right on the beach in a quiet neighborhood. The beach was never crowded and almost felt like it was your own. The essentials (kitchen, sheets, bathrooms) were clean, however the house needs a complete dusting and it is time to take up the carpet in the bedrooms. Pup friendly and carpet do not mix well. Downstairs is basically a concrete basement, so expect a little mustiness.

Once Upon a tide was perfect for our family beach getaway, including our four legged friend. The location is pretty ideal, only a few feet from a beach access. The two different balconies allowed for everyone an opportunity to relax and take in the views. The rental was very clean and well equipped. We will definitely be back for more beach time.

Our annual July 4th WA beach house was cancelled due to septic, one week prior. So we had to find a replacement, and found Waters Edge 207 in OR. Wonderful surprise! So nice, balcony was view for fireworks we did not know about. Wonderful answer to our dilema and wonderful memories made. Close to food, beach or river and sand choices, up on 2nd floor for great view, had elevator. Thank yo, we were grateful to find this place. Even parking watch during Holiday weekend impressed us too.

This is a really comfortable condo with an excellent view of Siletz Bay and its remarkable tides. It's a great base for exploring Lincoln City and environs, with way more beautiful beaches and hikes than we could get to in four days. The place is generally well equipped and made for a very enjoyable stay.

For $5500 dollars for 9 days stay, I would hope that the floor would have been swept, the kickboards in the kitchen would be in place, the cobwebs in the upstairs bedrooms would be cleaned out, and the plants on the deck would not be bone dry. The upstairs rooms have no privacy and the open air design doesn't make any sense. That being said, the location is amazing and this is the third time in four years we have stayed here. Hopefully the property manager will take a little more care in the rental upkeep, especially since the cost of the stay doubled in the past two years!

This was a great rental. The house is located close enough to the beach that one can be in the sand in meetings, but far enough away to avoid un-wanted beach traffic and parking. WHile the house sits close to the highway, the trees and river directly behind the property make it hard to even notice the main road. The house itself was spacious, more than what we were expecting. While there some up-keep and cleanliness short-falls, we would definitely stay here again.

We cancelled our trip to Sunriver due to fires breaking out in the area and were lucky enough to find this house just two days before our trip. House layout was good for our family. Kitchen had what we needed for meals. The carpet downstairs was really dirty though with a lot of dark stains at the bottom of the stairs. The couches also had stains and needs to be cleaned. One seat on the couch you sank almost to the floor when sitting. The location was great, could hear the ocean with the windows open at night. Really close to shops, restaurants and public beach access. With just a little more TLC this house would be exceptional, but it needs better cleaning and the couches need to be replaced.

This was our 2nd time staying at Sea Quest. It is in a fantastic location - just a couple of blocks to the beach and close to shopping and other tourist fun spots. There were 6 of us staying there and one large dog. Plenty of space for everyone to spread out in and gather together. In October when we visited the house was not very clean (the floors, bathrooms, bedding, etc.) so we almost didn't select OBV or Sea Quest again - but the location is so good and the size is perfect for our family, so we decided to try again and I am REALLY glad we did. This time the cleaning crew did a fabulous job. Other than the faint lingering fish smell in the fridge (which went away after a couple of days) the home looked and smelled clean. The only issue we had is the outside garbage was overflowing and gross. It smelled like fish and had wasps buzzing around it. I called someone at OBV to please come and empty it, but no one came. We had nowhere to place our garbage so we stuck it in bags outside - thankfully for the next people after us - it was garbage day the day we left. The furniture and everything are nice. We love the decor and having access to a washer and dryer. The gaming system upstairs is very dated and didn't work last time we were there - but the kids didn't really need to be playing on that anyway. Overall, our stay was lovely and we really like the home. We will definitely stay there again and hope that OBV will empty the garbage before people come and that the home will be nice and clean inside because it really does give a better presentation of the home and make for a much more comfortable stay.

This home was great for our family vacation at Pacific City! It was close to the beach and an easy walk to get there. The kitchen was well appointed and we were able to cook several good meals. The house was clean and we liked that it even had a card table and chairs which we added for extra seating in the living room. The ping pong table was also a popular activity. We really enjoyed eating at and buying bread and scones from Grateful Bread, and got pizza from Doryland Pizza that was wonderful. Climbing the Giant Sand Hill is a family tradition and we loved that too. The only thing I would change about the house is to get a glass measuring cup and new dry measuring cups--I tried baking there and found that a little challenging with what was there. Otherwise the kitchen was great. We also liked that it had 2.5 baths because and extra potty is always good when you have a group! There was no central air but opening the windows made for cool days and nights. I'd definitely recommend this home!!

Rent this property for the outstanding location. The beach is your back yard! The beach is huge and not crowded. The property was clean. Furniture and beds are only moderately comfortable. We enjoyed the fire pit out back. If you need any items for cooking be sure to bring them, the kitchen is sparse. The beach access is unusable, we used a kind neighbors. Check with management about repair. Good value for the cost.

We had a really good time. The property is located right on the beach. One has to climb some steps but it was easy including for my pregnant wife and 3.5-year-old kid. What a charming beach house, in close proximity to the ocean. We walked to the beach several times. You can see and hear the ocean from the house. The sleeping situation is unique having to enter one queen bedroom through the other. That would have been more awkward had it not been family. The kids figured out the upstairs situation. The upstairs space is large and divided but not private still having to enter one space through the other. We did voice one concern when we arrived regarding one of the locks. Management returned my call and left a message saying they would have it looked at when we left. Had a time starting the grill. We liked amount of parking, 4 spaces, and the tables on the back deck. All said and done, we would stay again.

This is a wonderful beach home. Only complaint is the coffee pot still had coffee in it when we arrived, there were some legos under a chair in the living room, and the TV stand was super dusty. You need to update instructions for checkout, as they were a bit confusing, and the queen bed in the western most bedroom with ocean view was uncomfortable and a window wouldn't open fully.

Wonderful view of the bay going into the ocean. Every piece of furniture in this condo is incredibly comfortable. Loved the jacuzzi bathtub and walk-in shower. All of the appliances worked perfectly. Only one complaint - the elevator. My hip has been replaced and walking stairs is difficult for me. The elevator has a terrible odor to it. I had to hold my breath to use it. This is something that can be fixed.

We absolutely loved our vacation spot! It was in the best location! Not only was the beach within walking distance but Spring Lake was right there within the neighborhood. So relaxing and also so much to do there with all the toys. The only issues that I had was that we couldn’t get the peddles to work in the peddle boat so we ended up using the oars. We couldn’t get WiFi in the mother in law’s quarters and couldn’t get the Wii to work but not a big deal since that’s not what we were actually there for but would have been for at night. Also we did find some chips stuck in the carpet when we arrived but we didn’t care it was a very nice place which had a ton of room and everything we could have needed. A suggestion would be a coffee grinder which would make it complete;) We will definitely be staying there again and hopefully have a longer stay next time:)

This house was amazing in its spaciousness, cleanliness, things to do, well-equipped kitchen, adaptability to young children and a dog, was everything we could have asked for. We especially appreciated the large game room for the kids, and the large deck for bird-watching and river-watching. We successfully tried out the paddle-boards on the river. The ocean was not very accessible with the huge sand-dunes to be negotiated, but we found other access points a short drive away. We hope to return sometime soon, and enjoy another family gathering at the Riverfront Dream. Thank you!

We have been going to Rockaway Beach for several year-end this was the first time we have stayed in an ABNB. Wow, what took us so long to figure this out? This rental was great for a family week together (my parents, his brother and fam). We are already looking forward to another visit. The property was as described, easy access to the beach, close to downtown. Unfortunately it was rainy most of the time but the big living room and kitchen space was great at hosting our family. When it was nice we were able to get to the beach to enjoy the beautiful view. The property manager was great at communicating needed information and responded quickly to our question, top notch!

This was our 2nd time renting this house. It's so fun! So close to the beach. We love it. The BBQ grill was not functionable at all and we didn't realize that until after we bought yummy steaks but that can be fixed. I don't think they actually finished cleaning, there was a dirty towel and used wash cloth hanging upstairs. But plenty of clean ones nicely folded and all the bedding was great! No trash can upstairs. Could have been cleaned better this time around but over all its a great treasure and wonderful place to stay. We had a wonderful time and had the luck of low tides this time which was amazing. Thanks for sharing your bit of heaven with us.

Great views from the loft. Back porch was a great gathering place. We loved the spacious living room and the large dining table was perfect for meals and board games. Kitchen is small but functional with lots of pots/pans/plates/silverware & glasses. The only suggestion would be to provide laundry soap with the washer and dryer or make a note that renters need to provide their own. Property management was very responsive and helpful, we would definitely rent this home again.

We absolutely loved staying in this home and found it very comfortable. There was plenty of room, great WiFi, and the location couldn’t have been better. The only negative we had was the heat wave while we were there. The temp reached 98 and the small fans weren’t enough to cool down the bedrooms, I would suggest larger fans and perhaps a screen on the window in the master. Would I stay there again? Absolutely, in a heart beat.

Pros: very cute decor, has wi-fi, plenty of extra blankets and pillows, the check-in, check-out process was super easy, plenty of room for parking, a 1 block walk to beach access (then you walk a few more blocks distance through some sandy grasses to reach the sand and water), I loved having a washer and dryer, and we enjoyed the board games! The cons: the kitchen garbage was full and I had to empty it as soon as I arrived, the carpet was very dingy and there were large stains all over it, there were even some piles of hair that obviously got missed when vacuuming, since the bedrooms were in the basement there was a damp smell that hit me every single time I would enter one of them (my husband noticed it at first and eventually it didn't bother him, but I'm sensitive to smells so it bothered me the entire time), there was no spatula to flip pancakes so that was a challenge! I'd also like to recommend that they lower the front gates a few feet so it is an enclosed backyard, and adding a BBQ would be a nice touch. Overall it was a good stay for a beach house and even though I mentioned some need for improvements, we'd consider staying here again.

We've stayed at Water's Edge too many times to count. The last two times we needed a pet-friendly unit since we have our Cheagle, Angus, with us. This unit was perfect (3rd floor, but elevator access). Decorated very nicely, lots of special touches. WiFi worked great, BlueRay DVD player (The Redbox is inside Safeway), and a Keurig as well as regular style coffee maker. The pots and pans are great, they even included dishes with covers for storing leftovers. Lots of baskets around for stashing shoes, games, things you bring from home. King size bed is super comfy and lots of extra pillows. The tower fan in the bedroom (runs with a remote too!) drowns out the nighttime noises from the highway. TV in bedroom as well! The gas BBQ on the deck works great (ignore that wobbly lid). Washer and Dryer are always something we appreciate. Everything worked well. We didn't spend as much time on the balcony as we usually do, because a nest of birds had hatched and the parents were very busy feeding them all week. By the day we left, the parents had kicked them out. Comfortable sectional, dining table folds out (hubby had to do some work on his laptop) and the Britta water dispenser in the fridge was an added bonus. We WILL be staying in this unit again!

The view was worth not having direct access to the beach!

Problem with our arrival. Only one woman to clean a 5 bedroom house, and she got there to clean at 3:45. P.m. No way could one person other than wonder women do a good job. Nice woman with an impossible task. The bunk beds were not made, etc. No reflection on the cleaning woman. Next, 11 people with 4 rolls of toilet paper, for a 3 night stay, is not enough. We ran out of T. Paper. Ran out of plastic kitchen trash bags.....and laundered kitchen towels. Otherwise the view was great.....beach fantastic....beds comfortable. Note* We did report to the cleaning woman who arrived when we were leaving, that my daughter in law pulled up her dining room chair, only to have the side if her thumb pinched in the crack of one wobbly back chair leg. OUCH! It needs repair. The house was roomy. AND I will add.....If anyone reports a lost piece of costume granddaughter found it in her bed, and has been wearing it. If anyone identifies it, we will be happy to mail it to them. You may give them my emai address. Other than the inconveniences we had, the setting and house was fine. Janet

Kids and able-bodied adults enjoyed the wild path to the beach. If you can't jump and climb down a couple blocks down the street there was an easy way to the beach, also. The house had incredible views of the ocean and the forrest. (No neighbors just outside your window). The house had pots, dishes, sheets, and CRAB POTS! We had such a fun time crabbing off the pier at Yaquina Bay. The play loft and bedroom were fantastic for our kids. There were a few repairs that were needed: screen door didn't quite function right, and the jetted tub was out of service, other than that we had such a great time!

This space was a perfect location for us, with plenty of room. Loved the laundry and game room in garage! One bedroom was a bit more apart and had its own bathroom— very nice for privacy! Catoor was a perfect home for our family vacation. Beautifully appointed and perfectly stocked from kitchen to bathrooms, we very much enjoyed our week retreat. Although at the ocean's edge, beach access was a bit difficult for young kids and those of us who are older and a "mobility challenged". But from beginning to end, Open Nest made it easy. They were accessible via email and phone, and prompt with answers to our questions. No doubt, our clan enjoyed the home and the setting. And we will again in the future.

Charming, unique house with beautiful grounds & amazing deck. Lots of space for our group of 7. Quick walk to the beach, casual dining or drive to Seaside. This is an older home, so bedrooms & kitchen are small but rest of home is spacious. My only concern was front doors are quite flimsy so if security is a big issue for you that's a problem. Area seems safe enough, but I suggest checking with mgmt company to see if this has been remedied before renting.

The views from Pirates Cover were exceptionally beautiful! We saw seals, sea lions, cormorants, puffins and lots of WHALES! If you love to cook all your meals (which I do), you will find the kitchen sorely lacking. This house would be a five star experience if the owners would update their kitchen supplies. A $200 spend would fix the decrepit kitchenware. It needs a new can opener, a set of various sized mixing bowls, measuring spoons, Pyrex casserole dish and decent glassware. There were plenty of coffee mugs and plastic margarita glasses but nothing else. The space was GREAT for family time, the kitchen table was huge and ...did I mention the views!? FABULOUS!

Wonderful house with stunning views I wish the WiFi was better and the grill needs to be replaced or at least have a cover to protect it from the elements but those are very minor complaints and didn’t take away from in enjoying our stay. We will definitely stay there again.

Great!!! Lots to do in the area if by you enjoy the outdoors. In the evening the downstairs futon made it great to watch DVD’s, however there was no batteries in the remote controls so we had to go purchase those. I was a little disappointed in the kitchen. It was not as well stocked as I thought it would be. There was no can opener, the baking pans were in very poor rusty condition. We had to purchase some Pyrex and a hand mixer.

We loved the Pacific Breeze house. It was huge, plenty of room for the 16 of us that stayed in the house. The view was absolutely gorgeous. I really want to thank OVH for the perfect Weather(Hee!Hee!). The games down stairs are a little worn but if everybody spent as much time as we did playing them it was not unexpected. There are three lock boxes by the front door so we ended having to try all of them before we able to get in. I had to call the office to get the code to get the key for the hot tub. we had s'mores on the wood fired fire while we were enjoying the view of the Pacific Ocean. The stairs dow to the beach are about two blocks down the street and there is an access to the beach in your car on 15th street. We love the Oregon beaches just wish they would get the water heater in the ocean fixed. Kids didn't seem to notice much, but grandma and grandpa don't handle it as well as they used to. what a wonderful place to stay, hope wed can do it again.

When I arrived the carpet was still wet from attempts to remove the stains on it. As of there have previously stated, there are some updates needed including the double bed mattress in the bunk bed room. There is no beach access from this property. The stairs are gone. Luckily the next door properties were vacant and we used that access. The kitchen is well equipped. Having said all of that, I’d rent this place over and over and over again. It was the most relaxing week I’ve had in years.

The Sand Dollar Cottage was just as described, perfect for 2 people. The location was perfect, a short walk to the Prom, downtown & the beach. It was so nice to be able to walk everywhere. I would have a few suggestions to make it a bit more comfortable. The furniture downstairs (love seat & chair) were uncomfortable & the TV was quite small. We had to move the chair closer to the couch in order for us both to see it. The upstairs (bedroom) was quite spacious & the bed was comfortable. We would have liked to have a TV up there as there was much more space & furniture! Bathroom is newly remodeled & spacious. One problem was the towels. The bath towels were actually bath mats, very small! Kitchen had everything we needed.

My family and I spent 5 days here and we had a great time! The house had plenty of room for us all, it is well kept and was super clean. I was so pleasantly surprised with the look, since we’ve stayed in other places before that did not live up to the pictures posted, that everything was just as described or shown on the pictures we saw before booking the place. The house is not right up on the beach but is only a few feet away! A short walk and my feet were buried in the sand any time I wanted. Super close distance to the grocery store so we could make a quick run at any time for any needs. It’s also close to the cute little shops in town and a short drive from the outlet mall which the teenagers enjoyed. The kitchen is amazing and so spacious to accommodate everyone coming and going all day long to have snacks or prepare meals. Everything we needed was there. It was nice to be able to divide the kids and the adults spaces. The kids spent a lot of time in the theater room or playing upstairs while the grownups could spend time in the kitchen/living room area. This house is gigantic and it does take a minute to get from one place to another but most everything you might need is within reach! There are several restrooms so you don’t have to go from one floor to another to find it. Each bedroom had its own bath which made me feel like I was in my own private space! The third floor did seem to get a bit warm but that was to be expected with all the sunlight it gets. We opened the windows a bit and the cool sea breeze cooled it right down to a comfortable temp. The view from the top floor was amazing. We loved sitting there to watch the sunset a couple of nights when the sky was clear. We enjoyed our stay very much and can’t wait to go back!

We had a great time at this little condo at Seaside. Just a quick walk to the beach and a little longer to Broadway and that area. The property was great. We would suggest they provide beach towels- we didn’t pack any and assumed like most beach condos, they would be provided. We ended up buying some and cramming them in our luggage for the flight home. Also we would recommend sand toys could be provided as well. No one wants to fly with those! Everything else was clean and well stocked. We would absolutely return!

After losing Grandpa last fall, my kids and grandkids needed some fun and healing time away. The home was clean and comfortable, plenty of room and seating. Fantastic ocean views. Very few people on the beach. Great roomy deck. The yard in front was huge, although it did need mowing...lots of weeds. But it was great for kids to play in when adults weren't ready to go down to the beach with them. HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT: The beach access. When I rented this house last year, my #1 priority was easy beach access for my husband and me. The steps were broken and blocked off. There was a tiny trail next to them, but I was unable to navigate the trail. I desperately wanted to be on the beach with my kids and grandchildren, so went next door and used the neighbor's steps. (However, made the children use the trail.) On the maintenance side, there was no fire extinguisher, although a wall mount for one was present. Would have been nice if a couple more garbage bags were provided - one for 8 people for 2 days wasn't enough! Also, none of the bedroom windows opened so we could fall asleep to the sound of the surf. I would definitely rent again if the beach steps were fixed.

Great to find accommodations that accept dogs. Fenced front yard was so handy. Perfect beach access. Bolder -style steps to beach were manageable for this active 70+ year old. Place was cleaned to our specific warm water only request. One of our friends has allergies to chemicals in cleaning products. We had a lovely time, and the two dogs had the best beach romp of their lives!

We had an absolutely wonderful time at this cabin. One of the best Airbnb’s we have ever stayed out. While not a fancy, luxurious type of place... This was more of a Cozy Homey cabin feel. It was just perfect for us. Best of all was a short walk down to the beach which felt very private. The road/trail is at a somewhat decline, and you get down to the actual beach there’s a steep 2 foot drop where you use a rope to lower yourself down to the beach. But totally doable for everyone in our group from age 4 through 60. If you had handicap issues it would not work well for you. Check in and out was extremely easy. And the views from the window and the deck are worth every penny. Extremely private and quiet at the end of the world. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Upon arrival, I put the shades up only to find very dirty windows. I cleaned them so that I could see the beautiful view the cottage offers. Thank you for making my “de-stressing” get-away exactly that.

This was one of the best stocked home rentals that we have ever stayed in. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare all our meals and the entire property was very clean. It really felt like a home instead of just a rental. The location was a quick walk to the beach (along a path, up a ramp, and then down a sand dune-my kids loved racing up and down the dune as well as playing at the giant sand dune just north on the beach at Cape Kiwanda). My kids, husband, and I had an awesome time at the beach. They had wetsuits that fit everyone in the family, boogie boards, beach toys, games, bikes, beach chairs, etc.

Possibly the best ocean view in the entire Gleneden community from either of the two viewing decks. A good floor plan for a family, with an elevator which was a lifesaver for transporting luggage vertically. Parking is limited, and the driveway is a little hidden but eventually able to figure it out for ingress and egress. We had one hot day, and tried to use the AC, but the floor registers were so clogged with debris that the air was unable to circulate. The ducting looked even worse, but how often do you need cool air at the beach? Did kill a spider in the master suite on our last day. The biggest disappointment was the beach access. It was farther to the only local walking public entry point than advertised, and the downslope was not city maintained. The result was an extremely treacherous trek either way, which my wife was unwilling to repeat after one try. The locals have anchored a rope assist, which tells you even they have trouble navigating this approach.

Condo 207 was perfect for our family of five. We had more than enough blankets, linens and pillows. The cookware was the best I’ve seen in a vacation rental. The condo is right on the bay so that allowed for perfect access for flying kites and digging for purple varnish clams. It is a corner unit so you don’t have anyone on one side of the unit. The whole 5 days we were there we couldn’t hear our neighbors above us at all, so it’s a quite unit. The 2 sinks were very convenient. It is within walking distance to shops, restaurants, glass blowing studios and a small grocery store. We would definitely stay here again!

We enjoyed a week at the Duffy House in late June 2021 and we couldn’t be happier. The house and location were all we hoped for. We had 6 adults and one 3-year old in our party, with 3 cars among us. The long driveway accommodated all of us nicely. Favorite things about the house: Open airy design; fabulous 6-burner gas stove and every kitchen implement we could have wanted; three lovely bathrooms and plenty of hot water; private deck and backyard barbecue and fire pit area; enough comfy living room seating for all of us; enclosed porch with a view of the beach. Favorite things about the location: Although not “beachfront” the house is literally a few steps from the beach; the location at the end of a dead-end street means no through traffic, no traffic noise, and no parking problems; a short walk down the Promenade and we were enjoying the aquarium (feed the seals!), Mo’s chowder and fish and chips, fresh donuts, and all the local shops; the factory outlet stores and Safeway are a 5-minute drive from the house. We look forward to visiting the Duffy House again.

We loved this beach house. It worked well for our family of 12, including a 3 year old and a 96 year old. Customer service was excellent. It was very clean. Lots of towels, lots of blankets. The kitchen was fully stocked - Keurig machine, drip coffee maker, all the pots & pans, casserole dishes, and kitchen tools you would ever need. Garage had BBQ, deck chairs, ping pong table. Lots of amenities.

This home was very clean and was equipped with all the items we needed for a comfortable stay. The bbq grill was a nice feature. It was quite warm during our stay, but with windows open it cooled off nicely at night. The home is conveniently located to take part in activities in town or other nearby areas.

The property was as advertised and perfect for our family of six. We loved the location and views. A lot of reviews talked about the driveway being hard to get in and out of but we had two small SUVs and had no trouble. Beds were comfortable and the main living space was great for gathering for a meal. The only thing it lacked in our opinion was a whisk which is very minor. We would stay here again. Loved this small town endits shops and enjoyed riding the train too and from Garibaldi. We didn’t know that a lot of businesses are closed Monday-Wednesday. We also enjoyed the Cape Meares lighthouse and octopus tree. There is also a great easy hike right in Rockaway to an old huge tree. The Tillamook Creamery was fun and if course the ice cream is great there but you can also enjoy it at a couple shops in Rockaway. The town of Cannon Beach is a neat place but crowded. The drive up and down the coast is of course beautiful. We also really enjoyed all the beaches and cool weather. Can’t wait to come back.

This was a rental we will never forget. Every room with a view, including the bath tubs. We followed suggestions of playing hid and seak which was a hit! The town is wonderful and just the right size. Tillamook is close by making a grocery store run not bad at all. The local train ride was fun even in the rain. Remember to choose historic not covered if raining when buying tickets online. Lincoln city Newport and Seaside were all so close. This house was so wonderful my son begs every weekend to go back.

We stayed at the Crows Nest in Newport the first week of June... There were 5 of us (our mom and four of us girls) It was the best place we could have picked - the view was impressive. We spent a lot of time out on the deck listening and watching the waves from the Ocean. This house was perfect in everyway for our group. The house was very clean and well stocked. Everything you would need to make your stay special. Loved the interior - its just as described. We will stay again and might bring our children and grandchildren next time.

We stayed at Pacific Sands in June, 2021 for a little baby-moon at the Oregon Coast. We loved everything about this house - the location was incredible (easy, quick access to the beach!), wonderful outdoor deck with great patio furniture, well-stocked kitchen, and comfortable beds and living spaces. Our only complaint was that the large operable windows facing the ocean didn't have screens, so when we left them open to get a sea breeze, lots of house flies (and one bee!) got inside the house. Maybe the owner could add screens on these windows? We will definitely be coming back - and highly recommend this house for people looking for a peaceful, relaxing weekend at the coast.

The unit has a beautiful view and was very comfortable. It was nice to just park the car and be able to walk to the beach, shops and restaurants. The issues we ran into were getting the lock box to release the entry key. The instructions sent to us were a bit confusing. We called someone and they assisted right away. The lock on door did stick at times and one of plastic chairs on the deck had a broken back. Overall we were very pleased with the unit and would definitely stay there again.

Our stay at Ocean's Edge was pretty good overall, but it could have been improved with a few simple tweaks. When we arrived at the house, the first that that we noticed was that SEVERAL light bulbs were out. We had to go searching through the house to find replacements. We ended up replacing 3 lights in the kitchen and two in the smaller bathroom. Additionally, our garbage can was overly full and there was no note telling us when garbage day was and when we should put the can out. I think both of these things could've been easily avoided with a check in/ questions book like most beach houses have. Lastly, it would have been nice if the back lawn had beeb mowed as it was so long that we couldn't really enjoy being outside. The houses around this one had very manicured lawns and that would have greatly improved our experience. Other than that, our stay was fairly comfortable and the view was great.

Such a great home! This was my second time booking it for two summers in a row and it does not disappoint! Well stocked, clean, spacious and a quick two minute walk right to the beach. This is a perfect house for a couple families or 1 big family. Also, a 5 minute walk to the Pelican Brew Pub and Moment Surf Shop. Open Nest Rental employees are also very helpful with anything you need while on vacation. I would definitely recommend this home and will be staying here again…Oh and the price you can’t beat it!

We really liked the house and it was ery clean but this house does not sleep 10 and should not be advertised as such. Yes there are two blow up mattresses but one is not working. My opionion putting people on the floor should not be part of the 10.There was not enough hand some for all bathrooms in fact one had no hand soap. The house had only one large trash bag. So I had to buy more trash bags and more hand soap for the bathrooms.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beach house on Rockaway Beach. I found the reviews on this place confusing before I saw it. Once I arrived I understood how some people could love it and The house could not be to other’s taste. During our stay at the house was very clean, but it is old. It was built in 1923. So while it is clean, it also has signs of age. We found it to be very quaint, like grandmas house on the beach. The location is amazing. Right on the beach. The kitchen is well stocked. We had everything we needed to cook during our five night stay. The shower works great. The space is also great. There are two bedrooms and also two futons so my family of four could each have our own space, which is nice on vacation. The ocean view from the second story is amazing. this would not be a good place for somebody who was not fully ambulatory. There are about 20 steps up to the entrance and a very steep stairway on the inside to the second level. if you are a fussy about new and modern fixtures, this place is not for you. If you love quaint and unique, One of a kind and antique, you will love this place. One word of advice, if you are driving in, stock up on things like toilet paper and groceries on your way in. Rockaway does not have a full-size grocery store and it’s a bit of a drive to get the things you might need. If you are planning on using the futon, you may also want to bring a few extra sheets and blankets, there’s not much. Make sure and visit the old growth cedar preserve while you were in Rockaway. It’s an amazing hike through the Pacific Northwest on a super neat boardwalk.

We really enjoyed our time at your SaGood rental! This is our 5th time vacationing at Rockaway, and the first time we stayed so close to town. It was great with the quick walk into town, and the short block to the wonderful beach! Everything about the location, and comfort was great! We understood that your cleaning crew was short the day of our arrival, so two hr delay getting into the unit was just fine. The place had been sanitized, with kitchen, bathrooms and bedding ( so comfortable!) all clean! It is a beautiful place! I imagine the furniture would have been vacuumed if your crew had more time with the cleanup. Sweeping the Hardwood floors, and a quick baseboards dusting would have given your unit the “spotless”clean look every owner wants for their renters to see. Only other thing we noticed that would have been better , would to have had the toaster oven working. Only the “ bake” stetting worked. You likely can not use this review for advertising, but we would sure book this unit again. Thank you!

What a cozy home. Location is amazing! Beach out front and golf course out back. We took took full advantage of both. The deck is lovely with so much seating you can pick your spot. (The kitchen was smaller than what is shown in pictures but still functional. Upgraded appliances which was great)

We had a great visit to Tierra del Mar with Fantasia as our home. The space was well designed and adequate for our extended family of 8 (6 adults, 2 children). The proximity to the beach was PHENOMENAL! Lots of hiking nearby and things to do in Pacific City and the rest of Tillamook County. Two of the beds seemed a bit inadequate -- the "full bed" in the room w/ the bunks and the "day bed" in the basement were VERY soft. Adding a second shower to the Laundry room would be fantastic, but a capital expense for sure. We called the management team to ask if they could bring more toilet paper... but they declined. Seemed like a simple enough request to make the customer happy, but I understand it would be an additional expense to them. Overall very happy!
